Advanced Deck Cleaning & Restoration Systems
Excellent work. The deck was cleaned, sanded and painted with 3 coats of paint. They arrived on time, finished when they said they would finish. In addition there was a small issue after the job was complete and paid for which they returned and addressed promptly. Overall excellent work and service.

They guys gave us a new design for our back deck that didn't add many extra materials, and was cost effective. My husband and I were very excited about having a usable deck that wouldn't collapse and from what I remember they gave us a pretty cheap price. Well, you get what you pay for. They painted the deck brown (which was my fault. I didn't realize I needed to go pick out a stain before they began working. But that was a miscommunication that could have been easily fixed had I been asked before work started.) But the main reason for the poor grade is because the deck was put together with nails instead of screws. It held up for maybe just over a year? My husband is going to have to go out this summer and re-attach everything with actual screws so our deck won't end up falling apart. The extra space for a grill was nice, but the whole deck wasn't worth the money since now we're having to put it back together just because it wasn't done properly in the first place.

    Classic Deck Impressions
Excellent job from Paul Schmitt and his crew. Straight up would recommend him to anyone. Right from the beginning Paul was on time for our initial appointment, explained everything, the process, materials, options, colors and timeline. He secured the building permit, started on time and finished quickly...even with a couple of days of rain..kept a clean job site..what more could you ask for? Have neighbor getting a deck installed by another company. I can see structural supports Paul provided, that the neighbor's builder is not providing. Again, great job by Paul.

A+ PLUS CONCRETE & FOUNDATION REPAIR
After a pretty good storm back in June, I had water in our front "cold cellar" of our basement. I had originally thought it was due to some wood rot on the front porch and after having a few handymen out to look at the porch, a couple mentioned that some of the problem was due to the block foundation as there were a lot of cracks and missing mortar joints. I called A Plus Foundation as they were top of the list for foundation repair and Gary was quick to return my calls. He came out about a week later just due to being busy in my schedule. After having another company come out who said they didn't do that work, I was happy with Gary's estimate and set up a date for the work. Due to rain on the day they were scheduled to come out as well as schedule between us, it ended up being pushed back a week and a half but the crew of two (Nick and Cory, I believe their names were) arrived a bit earlier but got right to work. They started by pressure washing to remove any loose mortar. There were a lot of spots that needed work as years of weathering had taken it's toll on the block and I had a large chunk of concrete that had broken off. They took care of everything and ground out several spots and sealed things up. It made the block and areas around it look nearly brand new. I have additional work to repair some big cracks in the concrete slab that I will be having Gary come out in the near future to take a look at. In the end, the estimate Gary gave me ended up being the final cost which is always great Only issue I had was just a little bit of communication when the job had to be rescheduled as it took a few calls with a few days in between before I got a call back before we could get set up with a new date, other than that, it went smoothly

We called Jack (the owner) in the fall to get an estimate on the repair, cleaning, and staining/sealing of our deck. He got back to us quickly and came out on a Saturday to do the estimate. It was too late in the season to do the work and he said he'd call us in early spring. Sure enough, he did! He was ready to schedule the work but unfortunately right at that time we had a short-term medical situation going on. He understood and said he'd call back in a few weeks and he did. We scheduled the work to begin on Monday 5/8. Because the forecast called for warm temps and sun all week Jack thought he'd be able to start the work on Monday and return to complete it on Thursday or Friday. When the forecast changed to Thursday/Friday rain, he called on Tuesday and said he would complete the job on Wednesday which he did. Jack is a consummate professional. He calls and shows up when he says he will and his work is excellent. We highly recommend him!

Initially, the email response to our inquiry was quick. Once I sent pictures, he sent us an email estimate with a plan to look at the job if we were interested. The in person appointment was on time and the detailed quote followed about a week later with one follow up email to request it. The job was able to be scheduled quickly and was a much better price than a couple of other estimates. It started a couple days later than targeted due to weather, which was communicated and not a problem. They worked on the job daily for 7 days except one day that was pouring rain. The final product looks great. The new stairs make the front of the house look so much better and the workmanship is excellent. We barely saw them because we were usually at work while they were here, but they were nice and professional when we communicated. They also put up a rain diverter on the roof as a last minute request. The only thing we werent thrilled with is the amount of cement debris left in our landscaping. Overall they cleaned up well, so I dont know if this is even avoidable, but it's kind of a mess around our bushes and they just threw some mulch over the cement to cover it. We just noticed this today when my husband started mulching the rest of the area, so we didnt mention it. A minor annoyance in the scheme of things. I'd definitely use them again.

All went well...after looking at our house, Ray Lowe gave us an prompt estimate...we accepted his proposal and Ray and crew (John and Rich) carried out their proposal with professionalism.
The work was done with care and exceptional skill. This was a very efficient crew.

    Extreme Decks & Roofing
contacted aaron in march of this year for a proposal for a 16x16 deck with roof attached to house and wanted it screened in. he was very professional, came right away and gave a fair and confident bid with wiggle room. was supposed to start end of may but didnt get started until august. it's the busy season and we weren't in too much of a hurry so it wasnt a huge deal. when he started, he apologized and knocked off $500 just for being a little late. sounds good. he even repurposed 2 sky lights in my kitchen and put in the new deck roof.
a couple crews came by over the next 3 weeks. there was a week in august where we were pretty much rained out so i imagine it would have been done sooner. all said and done, the guys are very professional - fast - clean up after themselves - do quality work - and even give suggestions where appropriate. had one small gutter issue which they came back after a day or two and fixed it. we now have a nice screened in i'd hire extreme decks and roofs again no doubt.

said he guarenteed all of his work, and he does not. I had referred him to a co worker and he did her gutters, a year later, she's still having the same issue, and he convinced  her, after charging her $500, to give him a old ladder that was her deceased fathers.  Beware.

    Amish Construction Co
It went wonderfully!  All the work was done with attention to detail, and with a high level of quality.  the workmen showed up on time and spent their time well.  And, I believe that all the jobs were reasonably priced.
I recommend this company strongly and without reservation to any homeowner who needs any kind of repair job.
I plan to use the Amish Construction Co. next summer, to perform additional, but nonurgent, repair jobs on the main floor and in the basement.
