    Heilman's Auto Service
My car's transmission failed less than a week after Heilman's supposedly rebuilt it. I had to go back and had to have them rebuild it again. I lost work time because the transmission failed for the second time on a Friday.

I have a 21 year old Jaguar. Locks didn't work. doors, trunk and gas. Dealer couldn't work on it, it was too old. no diag equipment. He took a look, spoke with the dealership and my personal mechanic. He is a great communicator. I would recommend him for anything electrical. K-

    Migz Auto Repair
I am so happy with the work that Migz does to keep my cars safely on the road. My transmission went and Sam helped me arrange a tow truck to have it dropped of at the shop, they worked with their transmission guy to get my trans rebuilt while taking care of my brakes and inspection. Once my truck was ready to be back on the road, the guys at Migz picked me up at work when I was having trouble arranging a ride. Everyone that I worked with at the shop was so friendly and professional.

The waiting room is nice and the people behind the desk are nice. Very nice, very good. I had one issue and wanted to wait there while the car was inspected and they were very good about scheduling so i could wait on the service.

My mom's car is a Honda, and I usually just bring it to the Honda dealership for inspections. In this state, we have to get our car inspected once a year. They're pretty good. I haven't had a need to go there recently. I've gotten good service there. They don't try to gouge you and tell you you need something fixed that doesn't need fixing. Usually I don't bring the car into a dealer unless it's something that a local mechanic can't do. For the inspection, because there was nothing else that was being fixed on it, I would give the price an A. The inspection was good, and their service was good. They would even give me a ride if I needed a ride back home. But I live close, so that's why they didn't. I stayed there for the inspection and watched TV and read a newspaper while they were doing that. It's pretty good as dealers go. I usually find that another foreign dealership and Honda treat you better than American made cars. I've taken it in for other things, and they've been good. I haven't had a need, honestly to go back there for anything. I can't compare them to other Honda dealerships, because I've never worked with other Honda dealerships. That's the only one I've ever worked with in my life. I don't know how theirs is different than other Honda dealerships, but I've been happy. I haven't had any major problems with them. The inspection was only about an hour.

I brought it to the Buick dealer, which I wasn't happy with recently because I had problems my power window on my door. I'm fighting them on getting a refund, and it's not going well. I had to go to corporate to complain about the service on my Buick, and I'm fighting them on every little thing. I told them, "You know, you're making it a lot easier on me to get my next car through another car dealership because I'm not happy with your customer service." They just don't seem to care. I've been bringing my car in there the last four or five years because the Buick dealership before that went out of business. I've never had a problem with a power window. It's the driver's side, but keep in mind I don't drive it much. So I went back to them, and the power window motor they put in 13 months ago now shorted out. Since they only guarantee for twelve months, they wouldn't fix it. I never thought I would have to go back for that. I've never had to worry about a power window motor not working. I thought once they put it in and it was over $500, including labor and taxes which was a lot of money, that's one part of my car I won't have to worry about. Thirteen months later, driving less than 4,000 miles, it didn't work. It was stuck, and they told me the same thing, "Oh, you're gonna need another motor." I said, "You just put it in thirteen months ago." Then they said it could be caused by these other parts that we don't make anymore and we can't get anymore. They said, "We can charge you half price this time for a new motor, but we can't guarantee it'll work." So I'm thinking, that's no solution. My car's twenty years old. I've been loyal. I've been coming here for other things. So I'm working now through their corporate in Detroit. Once they have your VIN number, they can look up everything that's been done on your car. That's what I'm working on as we speak. I had to bring it back, but I think they put a defective motor in there. From the time they put that new motor in to the time I brought it in, I drove it 3,400 miles. That's not a lot of miles. The rest of the time, it's been sitting in the driveway. And then even when I'm driving it, like in the winter, I keep the windows rolled up. So it's not like during those 3,400 miles that I drove it I was playing with it. Even if I was, it still should be working fine. I should've driven it 100,000 miles and never had a problem with it. And then they charged me $100 for a diagnostic test to tell me what's wrong with it when I already knew what was wrong with it. They got back to me, they were OK on that. They didn't solve my solution. They sent me a survey this week, and I filled it out. They rated me would I recommend them to anyone else and I said no. They still haven't followed up on the survey. In fact, I went to corporate and corporate called the dealership. You would think that would warrant a phone call to me from the dealership, and I still haven't heard from them. That's an admission of guilt because they don't know what to tell me. I know my car is old. I understand all that. But my point is, I've been loyal to them for twenty years. I've driven other Buicks in other states I didn't even tell them about. They don't seem to care about any of that.

    Heilman's Auto Service
They do inspections and things like that. They put some brakes on a couple of years ago. My daughter got a Mazda here and we needed to get that inspected and I had it inspected there. I will be seeing them sometime within the next month because my inspection is up in July. I don't have anything bad to say about the guys. They get me right in. I will use them again, next month.

    Infiniti of West Chester
I’ve had it done 3 or 4 times a year for the last 5 years with them. The last time was probably last November. It was free, because I have a lifetime oil change. I would grade them “A” in everything, they do a very good job. I would absolutely use them again. They’re very professional, basically they’re on time and everything you list they get “A’s” on, quality of the work, everything and they stand by their work. Top notch! They’re very easy to get ahold of, very responsive and interaction is one on one, they treat you as an individual. They are very good that, very respectful of your time and getting you on the road and back to work, all that stuff.

    Tommy's Automotive
I've brought the car to Subaru dealerships the last two years and had $300-500 in additional charges. Tommy's had some suggestions for me, but nothing that was needed for inspection to pass. I'm unemployed currently, so money is tight. Once I join the workforce again, I will be scheduling time for maintenance with them.
