    We contacted him on a Friday when we found out there was a problem.  He came on Saturday morning and within approximately 30-45 minutes, was able to say yes that was a leak, remove the old pipe piece and replace with a new one.

They were punctual; they were efficient and stuck to the time -frame that they originally gave us; they were great about getting our involvement on a couple of decisions/changes that needed to be made; they were courteous and cleaned up after themselves.     Our home was empty at the time (fall of 2011) , we had moved out of state and needed to winterize the house so the pipes wouldn't freeze.
    A few months later I have a tenant moving in and she tells me that the master bathroom toilet cover was off and the water was running. It turns out the plumber that did the work left the top off one of the toilets and the plunger was left open with the water running. I ended up getting a $500+ water bill.
    I called Martz on the phone to try and resolve the issue and it turned into big ordeal. They deny that this ever could have happened, other people MUST have been inside the house (which there wasn't) My tenant rented the place without seeing it and based on the internet pictures (she was a military transfer).
    I simply wanted the water bill covered but they refused claiming that is was impossible for this to happen by their plumber. I ended up paying (approx.) 75% of the bill and they agreed to a fraction.
    Honestly, mistakes happen. Forgive, Forget and move on. So, I tried to hire them again (12/2013) to winterize our home and they refused. STILL claiming that someone else had opened the back of the toilet and left the plunger open. Which at this point I felt I had to warn other consumers in the area. Based on their character and integrity I wouldn't advice anyone to use them.

    Negley's Well Drilling, Inc
    Nothing good to say about my experience with Negley's. I hired them to dig a water well on my property in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and it was a complete failure - to the tune of nearly $11,000.
    They claim to be experienced well drillers, but I saw no evidence of that in their failed attempt to provide a viable well. They never seemed to have a good handle on the conditions they encountered while drilling, and ran up my costs far beyond their worst case estimate. In the end, I was left with an expensive, useless hole in the ground. Nothing worse than paying for failure.

    We have used Martz multiple time for different plumbing and heating and cooling problems. They have always answered when I have called or called back within an hour. They can usually be at our house within the day, especially if it is something and quot;important.and quot; They are always on time, very friendly and clean up after themselves. Each time that we have used them we have felt that we were charged very fairly and on several occasions they could have easily taken advantage of us, but gave us cheaper solutions that were just as effective as their more expensive counterpart.
    We did have a furnace cleaning scheduled that they had to reschedule due to an emergency at another customer's home. I was glad to know that if we ever had a time sensitive issue they would be sure to help us.
    We will continue to be Martz customers!!!!

    I sent an email in to start the process for an estimate on replacing a cracked tub in my bathroom.  My email was answered quickly the following day and an appointment was made for 5/16/2013 to come out and review for an estimate.  The appointment was supposed to start at about 9:00AM, but time came and passed and I didn't hear anything.  I decided to allow time for overlaps, I can understand how these things happen.  I received a call at a little after noon from Michael Corbett asking if it was still a good time to come out.  I informed him that would be fine.  To be honest, I was not pleased that I waited over 3 hours to hear anything, but I try to be a forgiving person.  He arrived shortly thereafter.  We reviewed my bathroom setup and went over some options and Michael gave me some information about the process and how long it would take.  We had a nice chat and I was impressed by how courteous he was.  He stated he would work on an estimate for me and asked that I call him after I had received my other estimates.  I finished my other appointments and attempted to reach Michael again.  My wife and I both called Larry & Son's approximately 2 weeks later trying to reach Michael.  Specifically, my call log shows I called on 6/5/13.  Each time he was out of the office and we left messages for him to call us back when he was available.  Sadly to this day I have not heard back from them.  I have chosen another contractor at this point and have already signed my contract and will be starting work here soon.  I'm not mad or upset about the situation.  I went into this asking for different estimates because I wanted to see who would earn my business.  For me, it's simply a matter of Larry and Son's didn't put forth the last pieces of effort to try and earn my business.  I may have not even gone with them, but I can't say for sure.  The reason I say I would be willing to try them again is that I know everyone makes mistakes and am willing to provide a second chance.  I also provided a 'C' for responsiveness because they were quick to answer my emails and setup an appointment, but failed to return our calls with an estimate.  Any number of things could've happened to bring us to this point.  I just don't have the time to try and find out what happened.  Anyway, I hope anyone who reads this finds this helpful.  I just want to be as candid as possible with my experience.

    The technician showed up right on time (I called around 7:30 am and was able to have someone at the house by around 11:30 or noon that day!), quick, efficient and exceptionally professional. I was able to allow him to work in the basement and continue working in my office upstairs. He was even aware of our dog and two cats to ensure he didn't accidentally let one of them out. Our bill was very reasonable for the amount of time spent and for the quality of work that Martz provides. We will definitely be calling them with any future problems.

    He replaced the toilet parts within a couple of hours and the price was good, even on a Saturday. He was very nice and polite. The AC was repaired the following day, and they came prepaired with all of the parts that they needed. Again, they were nice, polite, and had a reasonable price.

    They are very prompt. They spent some time on the heat pump but they finally figured out the problem and saved me a ton of money. I thought that I would have to replace the whole unit but they finally figured out that it was a little valve in the refrigerant lines that was causing the problem.
