    All Aspects Waterproofing
From the initial meeting, walk thru and quote from Robert Ellis to the completion of the project All Aspects Waterproofing exceeded our expectations. Mr. Ellis thoroughly explained our options and how the process would work. The crew that performed the work were polite, professional and expedient in completing the project. I would use All Aspects Waterproofing again and would recommend them to others.

We bought a slightly distressed property for refurbishment, not initially realizing how distressed to begin with. After doing some demolition work to convert the downstairs into livable space, We discovered a large crack running front-to-back through the entire house. The entire north end of the house was sunk down by about 3 inches. Also after tearing up a bathroom floor to repour and level it, we discovered that the fill underneath was substandard. The house was built in 1964 and obviously proper code enforcement was lax, because the foundation is also 12 inches shy of current frost depth. We had a structural engineer, Regan, Matonak and Associates specify an engineering firm to do core samples to discover the state of the underlying soil. It was in good shape, but the poured slab also had a bad substrate with loose chunks of cinder blocks, brick, and large pieces of limestone. There were voids. They recommended Miller Home Improvements to fill the voids and also to repair the foundation. Miller Home Improvement had a very pleasant and capable crew. We hired them to do 3 things: 1) fill the voids with flowable cement. They rented a cement pump truck and hired out a mixer to deliver the cement 2) preliminary floor levelling with excess cement - They levelled part of the bathroom floor around new plumbing 3) we had the front foundation fully insulated instead of underpinnings installed. They were able to do either, but the spray on insulation was much less expensive, so we opted for that. The insulation prevents frost heave by not along ground water to get under the house and freeze. The heat from the house plus the intulation stuck to the foundation and also 2' deep and 2" thick and 2' out from the house, prevents it from freezing. #3 was the big deal and required a few days, a backhoe, a front end loader, and moving a lot of dirt. As a result, we got some nice landscaping out front as well. We painted a rough area of where to spread the dirt and they did it nicely, levelling, and filling the hole was screeded shale and top soil. All 3 services were accomplished around the same time in a couple of days and the results are quite good. The estimate was no hassle, and even though we changed the order around slightly a few times, there was no problem.

    DEGRANGE CONCRETE
The sidewalk in the rear of our apartment bldg was old and sloping toward the building - causing water to enter the building when it rained. Doug and his crew removed the old concrete and replaced it. They also added an additional concrete pad in an area where water flowed toward the foundation and graded the whole thing to keep the water out. The team of guys was punctual and worked quickly. The whole project was done in three days and it looks great. Thanks Doug!

    WESTERN MARYLAND CONCRETE INC
A neighbor had a walkway & patio done at their house & recommended Western Maryland.  I called them, left a message, and the owner called back later that day.  Within a week, he was at out house to see exactly what we wanted done and offered some helpful suggestions.  A friend & I removed out existing deck (minus the inground pylons) but we weren't able to remove the lumber from the backyard.  When they arrived, not only did they remove the pylons from the ground, they removed the deck lumber at no additional cost.  And when I realized that in the planning stage that we didn't include steps from our sliding glass door to the new stamped concrete patio, we were able to add them to the plans without any problems!  While we aren't planning on any additional concrete work, if we were, we would definitely use them again!!

Contractors were very professional and price was true to estimate. Contractor's crew was very concious of cleanliness. No need for post project clean-up, very impressed. Contractors showed up when expected and completed work as projected. Reasonably priced for great quality work. Feel very confident in recommending them to others. Will definitely contact them for any future projects.

    DEGRANGE CONCRETE
Doug DeGrange and his assistant had to break up the old concrete and remove it by hand using wheelbarrows since the access to the yard was too small for machinery. They then poured the new concrete by hauling it in with wheelbarrows from the truck in the street. The end result is wonderful. It's beautifully done and properly sloped so the water runs away from the house. He had to work around back porch footers and other impediments, but the end result is pretty much flawless. And to top it all off, he brought in a truckload of topsoil to fill in areas where he had to dig down around the walkways to set his forms. Didn't have to do that, but that exemplifies the quality of his work! He was quick, punctual, cheerful, professional, and his price was better than I expected. I would use his services again in a minute and would recommend his company with no hesitation.

    WESTERN MARYLAND CONCRETE INC
It went fantastic!  The crew was at our house by 0800 every work day, and the work went very smoothly, especially since the weather didn't cooperate very well!  Our original estimate had to be adjusted since I forgot to add the stairs coming down from our sliding glass door, and they had to adjust the installtion due to some grading issues with the yard, but it turned out wonderful!!
