This guy needs to be out of business. He was supposed to fix our brakes, and he ended up cutting our gas line, getting brake fluid and gas everywhere, and left the brakes fixed in no way whatsoever. He told us everything was fixed, but if we had tried to drive the car, we could have been in an accident because of what he did. When we took it to another mechanic, they told us that he had used rubber tubing and duct tape to "fix" it.

    Hamilton Hyundai
Hamilton is prompt with their appointments and always offers friendly service. Someone greets you at the door to direct you to the service you require to get you quickly on your way. They are up front with their cost and the salesman or service person never tried to and quot;talk us intoand quot; anything we did not want.

It costs $70 because it is synthetic oil. I've been going to them since 2004. They are reasonable, they are honest, and I never had to take something back because the job wasn't done right. I will continue to use them.

    STRITE'S GARAGE

They are committed to providing quality service at a fair price. I have found cheaper prices other places, but I think their pricing is fair, and well worth it considering the quality and promptness. A few times over the years (been going to them over 15 years), jobs would take longer than they expected, and in each case, I received a call where they provided full details and a commitment to get it done. In this latest job, they explored all options for me, got me scheduled quickly, and had the work done in less than a week.

I would highly recommend Strite's to anyone!

    STRITE'S GARAGE
I had an overall positive experience with Strite's Garage. This was my first time using their services and I ended up using them again for an inspection, and plan to go back.
I'll start with my initial phone conversation. I discussed my issue with them, and they advised I opt for a new part despite my wanting to use a re-manufactured one. I ultimately took their advice and went the more expensive route.
I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't work on my vehicle for over a week from the time I called. My vehicle's issue was somewhat severe (ABS was not functioning due to a broken tone ring on the half-shaft) and I find it hard to believe they were booked solid for over a week.
I dropped my vehicle off for repair in the morning and picked it up that afternoon. The people I dealt with at their front desk were very courteous, and their office was VERY clean - not at all like you'd expect a shop to be. Strite's Garage does, without a doubt, run a very professional operation.
Overall I was pleased with the quality of the work and prompt service once my vehicle was in their possession. I would have appreciated being able to have my vehicle repaired sooner, but I can understand an establishment of this quality being in high demand.
All that said, I plan to continue to use Strite's Garage! They left a good first impression, and that's what counts for a business.

The sales representative listened to the exact wishes we had and the amount that we were willing to spend. Since we already owned/ paid off our 2012 Accent which only had 29,000 miles on it, we did not necessarily need to purchase a car now. They had such good deals we thought it may be time to upgrade if the price was right (in OUR budget not the car dealers). After wasting 2 hours time with the typical salesmanship at Massey in Hagerstown, and still didn't close a deal, I went to talk with the dealer at Hamilton. They immediately gave me the best offer and didn't try to use the typical manipulation and high pressure sales tactics, schemes and gimmicks. Even if Massey had comeback with a better offer, which they did NOT, we would have chosen Hamilton in Chambersburg because of they way they listened to what we wanted, came back with the offer we were looking for, and they didn't use high pressure salesmanship or dishonest email coupons to get us there (Yes, Massey sent out an email they were going to refuse to honor).

    STRITE'S GARAGE
I was happy with the customer service.  I know I called them a million times and I always got a hold of someone right away that gave me all the info.  I needed.  They were very good keeping me informed since it was a warranty issue, and got every thing taken care of me.  They really rushed the work to make sure it was done so I wouldn't have to pay much out of pocket for a rental.  The only negative thing I have to say is the price seems very high to me.  I don't know much about cars, and haven't had a whole lot of work done to my car so I'm not positive.  The quotes they gave me seemed outrageous, thank goondess my warranty covered most of it.  They gave me a final estimate of about $350 for the engine work and timing belt, when I came in I was charged $520 which was a lot more then I expected.

    DON KAUFFMAN AUTO SALES
Rip off allert!!!  Sold me a car that wouldn't pass inspection and said he only guaranteed PA inspection not MD.  Would not fix that issue, and would not refund me or trade it after only a few days.  Put about $3,000 worth of work into the car because it kept breaking down.  Broke down again and needed another $900 worth of work done again.  I got rid of it after that because I was so fed up.

I scheduled my appointment & showed up on time.  They took my car within 5 minutes of arrival, changed the oil, fixed my brake light issue, and then discovered something loose that needed a new clamp.  Everything was done within one hour of my arrival.  I paid and left a very happy customer!  Had I taken my car to the dealer, it would have taken at least 1 1/2 hours & they would have tried to tell me how many things were wrong with my car that needed to be fixed immediately.  I also would have spent at least double what I paid.  I appreciate that Knepper's doesn't take advantage of me being female & unfamiliar with cars.
