    It was seamless. Chris and his helper arrived, carefully removed the furniture, secured them in their van, and followed me to the consignment store. They unloaded the furniture and placed it in the store. Chris was so nice that because it was such a small job and easily done he charged me less than his typical hourly rate. He felt the usual fee was high. I really appreciated getting a break on the price and both he and his helper were professional, careful and of course, considerate. He also does big jobs including long distance. Give him a call- big or small.

The administrative staff kept me informed all the way up to moving day. The moving crew was incredible, so careful, professional, and accommodating.     The guys did a fantastic job. A whole team showed up to load the moving truck. They were extremely careful and courteous. We followed the moving truck with two members of the team to Maryland. They couldn't have been nicer or worked harder. Everything was seemless and effortless. They wouldn't let us lift a finger, even though we tried! Great job. Would definitely use them again!

    The team that came was nice, not rude. Generally clean. In hindsight, I see the difference between the slightly more expensive movers I previous used, the movers who moved me in, and the less expensive Adams. I should have paid the extra for the more professional and careful team from Anchor in NJ. On this move, several pieces of expensive furniture were damaged from a lack of protection and care (the insurance barely pays for one repair let alone all). We have three platform beds that were all removed from the building without any protection and by one person (saw this myself). Several furniture items left unprotected. Keep in mind leaving the building there is a stone wall and iron railing that make for an extremely tight turn. One corner of a platform bed went from a nice 90-degree polished corner to a rounded and exposed edge because of this. When my previous movers showed up, the supervisor saw this corner and told his crew it was a two-man corner for anything on wheels and to double checking the protection. Anyhow, my dresser received several deep gouges from poor protection and packing as well (see attached photo which is hard to tell the depth of the gouges). We had some items dented/crushed as well. As they got ready to close the truck they were about two inches too long. So, they pushed with all their might, I was standing there, to compress the load and shut the door. Keep in mind there was up to two feet of unused space at the top across most of the length of the truck. I remember my previous mover had a person in the truck the whole time packing and was meticulous on filling up the space. I commented on his work and he mentioned he never wanted to get to the end and find he needed a few inches because its risks damage to compress. For reference, my previous mover had a crew of 4 and Adam���s showed up with three the first day and two the second. They laid several items like sugar, salt, and flour containers upside down or on their side. The problem was anyone looking or holding those containers new the lids would leak or come off. The packing as poor and I spend a lot of frustrating and unnecessary time cleaning this from other items in the boxes plus my floors. After unpacking most of the stuff, still have many boxes to go, we found lots of examples of the details lacking that result in many bent items, spills, or scratches. I am not sure under what circumstances I would recommend using them. Maybe if they were the cheapest and money was a major issue and you are willing to hover over them and constantly nag for two days.

    The experience with the broker (Executive Auto Shipper) was great. They were very responsive and professional. After you contract with the broker, they then contract with a carrier to actually transport the car. They could use any carrier that happens to bid on your job that is available given the time and price. The carrier who they happened to use for our job was inconsistent and quite unprofessional. I contacted Executive Auto Shippers with the problems I was having and they were on top of it all. They followed up and kept me in the loop the entire time. I would use Executive again, but would specify not to use the same carrier (Art Max Inc.). All in all, the car arrived as expected and ended up on time. I have read plenty of reviews of other brokers/carriers that were nightmares. You just have to do your research and be prepared as best you can. The biggest issue seems to be the carriers.

    It went AWFUL! Not only were they 45 minutes late, they forgot the protective plastic wrap to protect the furniture. They told me they rushed out and forgot it. This was just the first thing that went wrong. The talked the entire time and told me how unorganized the company was. While trying to move a bakers rack up from the basement, they put holes into the walls, scratched the banisters and put marks all over the walls. When I spoke to the owner 'Daryl' he said that it would be a $50 repair tops (he never saw it) and that he would not entertain a discount (even after sending him the photos of the damage). I assured him that I would not pay until it got resolved. After I wrote Daryl and email explaining the damage, he wrote back (2 weeks later) saying that I was rude and I rushed the movers and told them to get the wall unit up anyway they could. It has been over a month and I STILL haven't heard back. I have since hired a contractor to come in and fix the damage that was $483 (not $50)! WORST experience with movers I have EVER had!

    Great group to work with! I booked over email, and the company was very responsive throughout the whole process. The movers arrived 10 minutes early. They were quick, courteous, and professional throughout the whole day. I appreciate that they wrapped ALL of my furniture in blankets and saran wrap. I moved on a 90-degree day, down 2 flights of stairs and up 3, and they didn't even bat an eye (meanwhile I thought I was going to melt into a puddle of sweat). It was worth every dollar spent (which was less than two other groups quoted me). I highly recommend Suburban Solutions.

    Excellent. A man came to our old home to provide an estimate. They were able to schedule our move with short notice and on a Saturday. They sent us emails with helpful tips for moving and phone contact details should we have any problems during the move.. On moving day, they sent 4 men and 2 trucks. They arrived a bit earlier than planned, and worked non-stop. The men were all courteous and very careful with our belongings. No items were damaged during the move, and they finished sooner than expected which resulted in a lower cost for us. I would definitely recommend them, and I would use them again.
