    Armando's Stone Work Inc
Armando was responsive and communicated frequently and well. The pricing was fair and and he was very conscientious. He rebuilt a deteriorating flagstone walkway very well and in the timeframe agreed upon.

    Plymouth Nursery & Landscape Co
We are very pleased. They provided a detailed full-color rendition of the materials and plan prior to starting the job, and were very flexible to accommodate our vision. The crew was punctual, very polite, and diligent. When the job was completed, I must say it exceeded our expectation, as I never envisioned this house could look so special! I'm looking to engage Plymouth again shortly for some more work on our property.

    D&D Tile & Stone Co
Mr. DiTomo only partially performed the work specified in our contract. In the middle of the job, for unspecified reasons, he ceased work, stopped showing up and refused to communicate with us. Subsequently, we discovered that his work was defective and we had to have torn out and completely redone by another, reputable contractor. We paid him for work that was never completed and materials that were never provided to us, and incurred additional costs to demolish his work and start again with a new contractor (approx. $12,000+ in total). We have a default judgment against him in Magisterial Court (he never showed up). We have yet to get a single penny from him or even the courtesy of arbitration through the Attorney General's Office or other means. I would recommend you find another tile installer. This individual is not trustworthy, and has created a lot of stress and financial difficulty for our family. We have worked with many contractors over the years and have never had an experience like this.

    JRL Design Inc
As with the other two large, complex projects JRL did for us (two full bath renovations), the job went well from conceptual stage and drawings to the last handshake. Jim and Marty make a great team, Their subcontractors work at the artisanal level. Any large, complex project hits snags and provides challenges. What counts is how such challenges are over come. JRL does a great job with such challenges. You, the homeowner, benefit from Jim and Marty's knowledge base and experience. We selected JRL design for the three largest dollar projects we've done (of a dozen in fourteen years) for several reasons. With this kitchen project, Jim's business model and use of design software allowed him to get us 3D drawings and a cost estimate when the other two teams were sending us letters from their respective architects telling us that moving forward meant a cheque to them, detailed drawings, another cheque and we'll have something for you in a month, Not. Jim walked through each step sending us to trusted agents for materials (quartz counter tops, tile and flooring, etc), providing samples of the wood and finishes for our custom cabinets, and so on. JRL remained sensitive to our needs - for a complete kitchen job you're without the nerve center of your house (especially if you have kids) for more than a month) - and the budget every step of the way. Jim and Marty should do your next job.

    Chris Basile Masonry Restoration LLC
Chris did an excellent job.  I would recommend him to my neighbors and will use him again for masonry work at our home.  Chris responded quickly to my call and came out to our home, surveyed the job, and provided a very reasonable estimate promptly.  One call is all that it took.  He put us on his schedule and called at about the time he thought he could get to the job to say that he was coming.  In two days, he removed the slate, fixed and leveled the pad, replaced the broken slates, and reset the walkway and repointed all of the mortar joints.  He was neat, professional, cleaned up the jobsite, and created a new walkway that is better than new.  My wife and I are very pleased with the job and I found Chris to be a real professional in the way that he approached the work.

Matthew Proud Brick & Stone Pointing
Matthew Proud and his crew did an excellent job on our walkway and it looks spectacular, adding wonderful curb appeal to our property.  He gave a detailed and precise estimate, which included the costs of the materials.  He also made sure that we were satisfied with the color of the cobblestones before installation.  His team was very professional and courteous, and checked in with us to ensure satisfaction at critical points during the job.  They completed the work on time and on budget.  In addition, they left the worksite very clean and neat once the job was completed.  This is the second job that we have hired Matthew Proud to complete and he would be our first call the next time that we have stone/masonry work that needs to be completed.  We highly recommend Matthew Proud if you want a meticulous, expert stone mason who gets the job done right the first time.

    G&V Construction Services Inc
The recommendations on how to best handle the restoration and replacements were quite valuable, and there was no pressure to choose a particular option.  The details fit well with the character of the old house.  All the work went well and on schedule.  The crew were all very friendly and professional and the quality of the work was excellent.

    OTW Masonry
This was my second time working with Kevin and everything went great just like last time. Kevin and his team were always on time, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. They made sure to regrade my yard, seed for new grass, and made sure there would be no tripping hazards on any of the connections. The stone work is excellent and everyone who comes over comments on how beautiful it is. I would definitely recommend Kevin to anyone needing masonry work.

    A & C Brick & Stone Pointing
They had a special.  I signed up.  No response from them.  Angie's List follow ups were ineffective. I don't know if the lack of response is due to the contractor or due to Angie's List

    Artistic Masonry Co

The work preformed was excellent.  A two man crew came out and got all three projects done in a timely efficient manner.  They we on time, clean, courteous and did excellent work.
