    Penn Medicine Infusion
My doctor referred me for a procedure called reclast infusion.  I only have to do this procedure once a year and it makes my bones much stronger.  My nurse, Joanna Horne, RN and BSN, was fabulous.  She explained the procedure to me and answered all my questions.  She was friendly, sweet and very attentive.   She offered me crackers or a cup of coffee.  I felt very cared for.

    Rubio, Dr. Emir R.
He takes his time with the patients and knows your name. He is a foreigner and has a thick accent. You have to listen to him and he answers all your questions. I have been seeing them for over 20years. The staff are really good and I know their names. They make you feel comfortable. The communication is great.

    Devon Family Practice
I called and asked for a 'wellness' appointment and was told that the physicians would be contacted to determine availability and I would be informed. (At a physicians' rating website, all the doctors were reported to be accepting new patients.) After 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything, so I called again. This time I was told that no one in this practice is accepting new patients, and they had no record of my original call or of my existence.
Don't bother with these folks. The office is really messed up.

Dr. Lawlor has been my primary doctor for over 15 years. The reason I would go no where else is that he listens to what the patient has to say. He also takes the time to answer any questions that you may have. I feel that he always goes the extra mile to care for his patients!

    Cooperman, Dr. Jay S
He's very caring, patient, and thorough. He's very friendly and has a very pleasant manner. He makes sure that conditions are followed up and checked on regularly. However, he is really busy and has too many patients.

    Radnor Medical Associates
I go to a doctor here that I like a lot. She is very pleasant and reasonable. I wait about ten minutes to get in. They are happy and friendly. They explain things well. It's easy to get an appointment.

They are wonderful. It's a very nice family feel there. They take time to listen to you. The only downside is because they spend so much time with the patient, they can be delayed. However, you never feel rushed and always feel cared for. It is a very nice practice and they always seem willing to get me in. They always seem interested in my health, both for what I'm seeing them for and for the long-term.

    Oler, Dr. Allison
I do not question Dr. Oler's medical competence. However I found her ability to relate to me as a patient worse than any I have ever experienced with a medical professional. She never introduced herself to me, she gave me almost no eye contact during my visit, and she asked me almost no questions about my personal background. As a primary care physician at an intial appointment, I would think the information as to whether I was happily married, had children, held a professional job or even whether I exercised regularly would be pertinent to her understanding of my overall health. While I did not expect her to re-diagnose or treat my previous conditions, I would have thought the fact that I am both a two time cancer survivor and a Lexapro user for anxiety might have warranted at least a question or two. My arthritis, while not Rheumatoid, has required treatment. She never asked me how I manage it. She gave the impression that she was very busy and not sufficiently interested in me as a patient to address those aspects of my total health. If a doctor does not establish even a minimal personal relationship with her patient it is difficult to believe she is able to evaluate and address medical problems adequately. Perhaps she just had a bad day. However, when I wrote a very professional letter asking her to contact me about my concerns, she failed to respond in any way. I followed up a month later with a letter to the Medical Director of Penn at Radnor and again, got no response. Both courtesy and professional standards would mandate that someone at least contact me. I have since transferred my medical care to a physician at Main Line Health. While it took me 6 months to get an initial appointment with Dr. Oler, I was able to meet my new doctor to review my medical needs within two weeks. The University of Pennsylvania is an excellent medical facility where I have received wonderful medical care in the past. It is a shame that I have had to leave Penn at Radnor with such a negative experience.

    Oler, Dr. Allison
I chose Dr. Oler because she repeatedly gets the Philly Magazine Top Docs award. While I am sure she is a good diagnostician, her bedside manner leaves much to be desired. I am currently in search of another primary physician and will switch as soon as I find someone else.

    Radnor Family Practice
I've been seeing her for 4 years. She is very pleasant and the communication is good. I go to her because she handles both primary care and women's GYN. She is convenient in that way for both services. It's quite easy to see her.
