    Spence Painting
Let me start by saying David Spence and his crew did a wonderful job and I would definitely hire them again...A+++ work at a very reasonable price. If you can't afford vinyl siding and your house needs a face lift then Spence Painting is definitely the way to go...I feel like I'm living in a new home! ;-) They pressure washed my house and detached garage and painted the exterior siding on both..The crew was friendly and informative. My small dog tends to be over bearing at times and they handled that very well...Lol The work took 3 days total. David Spence kept in contact with us during that time to make sure the work we wanted done was up to our expectations. He even did a walk around at the end and retouched any areas of concern... Class Act all the way...Love the color btw.. And the advice he gave us after all the work was done is appreciated. Great asset to Angie's List

    Chameleon Painters LLC
Amazing company! George and his brother in law Tomas were exceptional! We needed outside external staining done. We also needed interior painting done. We ran into problems with the house that needed extra attention and they were able to take care of that for us as well. They greatly exceeded our expectations! True gentleman and I could not recommend anyone higher!!!!

Dave and his company were a pleasure to do business with. They were punctual, pleasant, and neat. They workmanship was topnotch. They went above and beyond our expectations. Dave and his crew painted the exterior of our home. They also performed some woodworking for installation of a new cupola and general contracting. They painted our kitchen during the time period. Everything was performed to a very high standard in a time efficient manner. I would definitely hire them again in the future for painting as well as general contracting.

2018 was the second time Brian redid our deck. He is very responsive, fair and professional. He does quality work. One of the best service providers we've encountered. He also painted our shutters back in 2013.

I called them and they came and did the job. The guy who did the job was Tony Massa. I have also had him insulate my whole basement ceiling. They had installed new smoke alarms for me earlier.  If he says that he is going to be here at 8 o’ clock, he will be here right at 8 o’ clock.

    R.J Dalzell Painting & Contracting
When Ray Dalzell and his employee Jimmy Beltz came out on 12/07/12 I told them I had already purchased the paint. They looked at it and when they saw that it was exterior paint to cover metal, they said it was the perfect paint for the job. Ray then left and Jimmy started to paint the garage door and the columns. He was done in a very short time and said that it would just take a few hours for the paint to dry. Everything looked very nice when he was done and I had no reason to think that anything was wrong.  However just a couple months later all the paint started to peel off the bottom of the columns and garage door. I kept trying to call Ray Dalzell but I just kept getting his voice mail and never got a call back. In all fairness, when he did call me back I told Ray that a deer had hit the garage door and he said that was why the paint was peeling. I told him that the deer didn't hit the columns. Then he told me I had gotten the wrong paint. I told him he said it was the "perfect paint for the job".
I then told him that we had a contract and asked him what he was going to do to honor it. I also told him that it looks like Jimmy never sanded the old metal on the garage door or columns before he painted them and that's why they're peeling. Even I know that you have to sand the old paint before you paint over it. That's why he finished the job so fast.
After a few more excuses why he shouldn't have to honor the contract he finally said he would fix the problem but  I would have to buy the new paint even though I had already paid for the original paint. He said that was the only way he would do the repainting so I agreed. He said he would call me back to set up a date to do it and I never heard from him again. I called him a few more times that fall, but my father had terminal cancer and I was his primary caregiver so this took a backburner at that time. I called him again during the winter of 2013/2014 and got his voicemail. I left a not-so-friendly message, still no response. I gave him one more chance to respond and told him that if I didn't hear from him with 2-3 hours I would start filing complaints and court papers against him. Here we are 1 1/2 years later and my garage door and columns look awful and I have had to hire someone else to fix them.

    Define Line Painting
I am very pleased with the workmanship, professionalism and expertise that Ernie brought to this project.  He was great to work with, has a great attitude and really has tremendous pride in his work.  And my home reflects this!  I love it.  I have already talked to Ernie about some other work that I am thinking about inside my home.  For painting, I would not go to anyone else.

Danny West was painting my neighbors home which turned out good so I asked him about painting our home.  He was right on it.  He said while he had his guys and equipment out there he could get ours done too.  After he primed and painted part of it it started raining and he was not able to get back to us for weeks.  In that time the paint started to peel off off of our home.  He then refused to fix it.  It just kept bubbling and peeling.
Finally I had to take him to court.  I had another painter come out and he told me he had put latex paint on top of oil based paint and it was all going to peel eventually.  The rain on the half done job just helped speed it up.
The man was friendly and charming until something went wrong.  Then he was nasty and arrogant.  You can use him and chances are he will complete a decent job.  However, if anything goes wrong you need to beware.  I would never use him nor recommend him.

The work always met or exceeded my expectations and his crew was professional and very mature.  His team evn let my dogs out and in while hey where there.  I trust Dave enough to give him a key to my house and while I was on vacation completed the work.

    Hutton Painting & Remodeling
The agreement through Angie's List special was to provide 2 days of painting.  Based on my calculation we were lucky to get 6 hours
on each of the 2 days.  They showed up late and took a long lunch period and left early so 6 hours per day may be overstated.
They complained that they should have never took to work with this special and gave many excuses.  They worked very very slow and did not complete sections in total.  Example put ladder up on the window trim but never went back to paint were the later was located.
This was a very bad experience and waste of money.  Stay away   Do not hire
