AArtistic MasonsI found Quick Brick on Angies list and gave them a call. They promptly called me back and came out to provide a quote within a few days. Tom Jones was extremely professional. He educated me on his process as opposed to selling me his service, a plus in my eyes. I wasn't ready for them to do the work yet because I was having the roof replaced and the exterior painted. Quick Brick was able to do the work within a few weeks after I told them I was ready. They came exactly when they told me they were coming, they explained how they were going to proceed, let me know when they were leaving to go to lunch, and showed me their work before I paid them. AJeff Holt DBA Holt General ContractingFrom the first day Jeff Holt was very professional and spent the time necessary to understand the existing windows and trim/mouldings. He presented a fair proposal for the work and brought in a representative from the window company to explain their products. He then measured each window and inspected the exterior and interior trim/mouldings. Once the windows arrived his crew was on time daily to start work, performed their jobs in a professional manner ensuring the protection of the house's new hardwood floors. They cleaned up each day and worked in such a manner to ensure the house was comfortable for my family. All work was started and completed on time with Jeff Holt personally inspecting the work several times each week. A high level of attention to detail was shown by all the crew members. The painting, electrical and insulation jobs were conducted in the same manner - with Jeff Holt presenting a proposal and with his crew performing at a high level. The work spanned most of the winter months so we became very familiar with the crew and their work ethics. They always had our comfort in mind since we continued to live in the house while the work was being done and ensured that the house was clean at the end of each work day. Shane Holt managed the daily work crews and advised us on the work each day. We never had to question how the work was being done or why. Shane made sure we were kept up to date. Given the high level of work performed by Holt General Contracting I would not hesitate to recommend them. They will be returning to renovate my kitchen and bathrooms in the near future.- Kaie S.

DStan Betts Masonary Construction Inc.The 12x20 patio pad came out good along with the 14x16 porch. The 16x20 concrete pad next to the porch came out wavy. The 20x20 pad in front of the garage door was made to flow the rain water from east to west or right to left as seen in the pictures. After the 1st rain there was a puddle in the middle of the left front quarter. That was then removed and re pored but was made with too much concrete so the rain water couldn't get from the right to left or east to west. Most of the work was done when we had a lot of rain. The east side of my lawn was driven on, with heavy equipment and trucks towing trailers, even my neighbors and the UPS guys made comments to me about how my lawn was ripped up and could of been avoided. I was at work when most of the construction was done. What else that happened was that there was extra concrete that they didn't know what to do with so it was placed on the backside of a gravel pile I have on the edge of my property. It's thick and going to take some effort to remove. So after the redo of the pad with the puddle and its worse then the original pore it's hard for me to give a good review, its upsetting because concrete is permanent. AFantastic service. This service is well worth the price. Spraying the cellar kills the termites in the cellar but Terminix goes the extra step by placing bait outside the house. This lures the termites away from the house and they carry poison back to their nest.Terminix also guarantees their work as a protection against future damage to the house.Fantastic and professional service. I definitely recommend Terminix.

BI did receive other bids and theirs was in line with others and they had a good reputation. The man who ran the job was quite professional and I had a good relationship with him. I did have to move out of my home during the work and they completed the job in about six weeks. I had some nice gardens around my home. Part of the contract involved them digging up the flowers, moving them, and then to re-plant them once the construction was completed. They actually hired a local landscaper to remove the plants and then landscape and replace them the following year. I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth it went and my gardens turned out wonderful! The fill that they used around the house turned out to be rubble field clay. So, when the landscaper and I had to dig down, we have run into chunks of concrete. If you have to dig down deep, it is pretty difficult to do. There were only a few small issues, but with a project that large, you would expect that. They communicated well and stayed in good contact with me. I felt that they were a good choice and I am glad I chose them for the work. I was pleased with their job.

Bit went ok until he could not get the inside parts of the stove back together again....it was a blessing that i had the manufactures book and he used that to put everything back. I really don't know if he actually inspected the chimney from the outside of the house, but the inside of my wood burner is fine.
