They were terrific. Their quote was thorough and detailed. We would have hired them if we have done the work, but we changed our minds and installed a pool instead. I hope to use them for something in the future, since I was impressed with their quote and presentation.

    ATV General Contractors, LLC.
Job was on time and on budget. We even added a floor to the attic and a drop down ladder to utilize full storage space after the job was begun and they still finished on time (2 days before Christmas) and we were ready to go with our annual family Christmas party for 30 ! Their price was quite competitive and I was very impressed with the quality of their work. The entire house was painted and hardwood floors that were very damaged were redone. Once the kitchen was opened they had to find some hardwood to match the floor since tile had been there and they did a beautiful job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

    Francis X White Builders Inc
The painters employed by Francis X White Builders Inc did a thorough and complete job painting our two porch decks and posts and removing four unstable railings. Our house was built in 1889 and there was still some lead paint under layers of peeling paint on the posts. The lead certified painters did a very careful, lead safe removal of those small areas. The decks had not been scraped in years, required a lot of hard work, and created debris that was carefully cleaned up. All of the prep work was attended to in a methodical way. The decks were primed and subsequently given two coats of the finish paint. The completed job is neat and clean and we are very happy with the results. A great job!

    The Clemens Group
This is my third home I have contracted The Clemens Group to do work in. They were one of 3 contractors that bid on my first house project. I was so pleased with their work that I have continued to use them over the years as I moved around. The jobs have included roofing, siding, stone work, concrete patio and EP Henry patio, wood deck, stairs, complete kitchen and bath, finished basement, painting, etc. The most recent job I hired them to do was to install wood flooring in my current house. As usual, Dan met me to discuss the work, explained the steps they would take, and suggested I consider changing the direction I wanted the flooring to be installed. I took his suggestion and it made a world of difference, appearance wise! They always go the extra step, like sealing a area under my sliding patio doors that was visible with the carpeting gone before installing the new floor.
Also to note, something that is very important to me, they are non-smokers and they are very receptive to working around my overly friendly dogs!
I look forward to using them again on my next project and refer them often.

    The Clemens Group
This is the third house I have had Dan and Scott from Craftwell Builders work at for me. They were one of 3 contractors that bid on my first house siding and roofing. I was very pleased with their work so I asked them back 2 years later to price out a whole overhaul at a house I was moving to. Before I moved in, they replaced the roof, the siding (and added stone), the front entrance with concrete, the back entrance with deck stairs, and all the windows. After I moved in, over time, I had them install a new kitchen, and finish the basement, adding a second bathroom with shower. After several years, I moved to a small townhouse and last month I had Dan and Scott install a wood flooring in my downstairs rooms. They met with me to discuss the work, explain the steps they would take to move the furniture from side to side in the smaller room and suggested I change the direction of the flooring I had planned. This change would maximize the visual size of the rooms and closets. So glad I took their advice! They worked for 3 full days, cleaned up after each day, and were very patient and friendly with my three overly friendly dogs going in and out to the backyard throughout the day! The flooring looks amazing; they took the time to recaulk under my patio door while that area was exposed and even left some of my furniture on sliders so I could experiment with moving it around in different places on my new floors. Also to note something that is important to me as I have allergies to this, they are NON SMOKERS.
I look forward to using them again for my next project, my front porch, this summer.

    Francis X White Builders Inc
The front porch of our 1889 house needed significant repairs and renovations.  Fran White was the only builder of the five that we called to follow-up with an estimate and who discussed possible job dates that fit our schedule.
The job site carpenter demonstrated accomplished carpentry skills and craftsmanship; he also has a wonderful eye for detail.
All facets of the renovations were completed in a very professional way.  The workmen stayed focused and dedicated to the job. They have a neat working manner and they cleanup thoroughly each day.  Communication with the carpenter, his assistant, and Fran White was very good throughout the job.
We are very happy with the project.  The quality of the work is excellent and quite visually pleasing.  Without hesitation we recommend Fran White and would hire his crew again!

    MSD Construction Services, LLC
Work was begun much sooner than I expected. Mike took care of all permits.  Crew was professional, friendly and courteous to us and neighbors. The work  was completed in a timely manner but portions of the driveway were rushed because a storm was coming in, and it shows.

I had gotten numerous other quotes for our job, but he was the only one who showed a thorough knowledge of the requirements  of both the job and the township code. He also was the only one who was willing to provide and install the railing.  Most contractors would, at best, offer to give us the name of someone. Additionally, he was the only one to mention sealing the driveway.  He said they would replace the dirt around the cement work and seed.  But instead they did a poor job of dropping sod but not neatly and they missed spots.  It looked crappy and, despite watering, it died, and we ended up having to replace the sod with dirt and seed.

Of biggest concern is the fact that we developed cracks in the curb within only a couple months and he has not responded to repeated requests to address the problem.  So if you want a contractor who actually stands by his work and can be found after he cashes the check, this is not the contractor for you.

    Squeeky Clean Services Inc
First day they power washed  the deck.  They protected  the surrounding grass and schrubs by watering and covering some schrubs.  They were quite careful when power washing.
After deck was dry for a few days they were back and power sanded the deck floor and the top of railing.  They applied 2 coats of solid stain and the deck looks great.  They were very professional and did a very good job of painting.
I would highly recommend them to others.

I endorse this contractor across the board. You will not be disappointed with his work. The following review is simply giving credit where credit is due.

    The Job

We've had work done in our sun room several times over the last few years though it never received the right amount of attention. Water damage from a poorly installed roof had invariably reversed any improvements we had attempted. This fall we wanted to have it done right and we contacted Santos.

    Meet & Greet

Liked Santos from the get-go because frankly, he's a likable guy. He's knowledgeable, thorough with his explanations and spoke in a way that clearly expressed that he loves what he does. We were desperately ready to have the renovations done and being engaged with an enthusiasm to match, even rival my own was satisfying. Honestly, Santos got me pumped up! His vision of what the end result was to be surpassed my own and his suggestions regarding different options and possibilities was eye opening. He didn't have to sell me anything because his ideas always left me to wonder, "Why didn't I think of that?! Santos seemed like our guy.
We ended up adding a bunch of different features like the flooring, finishing/enclosing the ceiling, and other things I couldn't imagine having overlooked. Adjusting the original estimate to add the extra work was a smooth process and in our opinion completely fair.

    Work Flow

During the week and a half of work, Santos and I corresponded regularly. At the end of each day, he would ask me if I had a moment to walk the project area. He would give me the play by play on everything they did that day, covering each step in meticulous detail; a nice blend of modesty and pride.
Santos does not cut corners. I may have never noticed the difference in results about how a piece of material was cut with a purposeful precision,or how he had spent additional effort to fix a loose gutter that had nothing to do with the project area, but is it refreshing to know someone is treating your home regularly with this sort of special attention? Yes. Yes it is.
At the end of each day the work area was cleaner than it was before they arrived. A bit a saw dust or debris is expected during the weeks rituals of cutting. They were just kind enough to not leave any.

Towards the end of the project I had a copper pipe in the upstairs bathroom decide to begin leaking from a particularly inaccessible area near the underside of the tub and run down through the ceiling and wall of the first floor bathroom. With no valve available to isolate the problem I had to turn the water off to the house. Not a great way to start the day, I was in a bit of a pinch. I must emphasize a few things: Santos was not contracted to do plumbing work. Santos does not provide emergency maintenance service and Santos already had a full day booked for him and his associates BEFORE I pitched him a curveball-plight. He went  to the store, got the materials the repair required, fixed the leak, and made it appear as if the whole thing was no big deal. I'm not going to lie; it sucked. The toilet had to be uninstalled (which obviously meant it had to be reseated, and REinstalled) to have a prayer of getting at the the elusively fit pipe and then only reachable from an awkward, contorted, and uncomfortable position. To me, it was a huge deal.

Santos doesn't barrel through his projects issuing direction to an army of laborers.  He's a hands on pro. The guys he had with him were veterans, having been with him for quite a few years these guys were obviously cut from the same cloth. They put in some long days well into the evening to meet deadlines, always in their element and tonight was their last.. Far exceeding my expectations the work is gorgeous. They  finished about an hour ago and it has been my pleasure to write this review.

    Millenium Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling
Kip takes the time to explain everything he will be doing and why. He has a clear vision for how to provide the best solutions and has experience working with homes of all ages (ours is pre-civil war). He's easily accessible and reliable. Unlike some contractors that will keep you guessing, he is clear about his timeline and if there will be any delays he communicates them early on. With our bathroom/guestroom renovation we didn't know exactly how we wanted to remodel and he came up with a design that was both functional and beautiful. We have gotten so many compliments on his work!
We completely trust Kip with our home and find him to be incredibly smart and dependable. He's our go-to guy whenever we have a fix in mind, be it big or small. Take the time to meet with Kip and you'll see what we saw - someone who knows what he's talking about and delivers!
