I had lots of questions which they were more than willing to answer and take as much time as I needed. My problem was taken care of quickly. I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future if a need arises!

  • It went very well.  From the initial phone call to ask for the estimate all the way to the install.  There was communication throughout and everything went as scheduled.  The services provided were at least five years ago but I'd definitely seek their services again, if needed.

  •         It was an overall terrible experience. I have verified this company as the correct Co. by calling the number provided me by angies list and verifying with the receptionist the telephone numbers for the Uniontown and Connellsville offices which are 724-439-8000 and 724-626-0900. I was at work the day they came to my home to pump a 500 gallon buried plastic septic tank for my garage. My wife was home with two small  children at the time and directed the 2 man crew to the tank access. Once they where done they came back up to the house and my wife paid. I came home that evening and went to inspect the job. Walking to the back of the garage I saw the septic tank lid all cracked up and lid seal laying on the bank. The tank was 1/2 re-filled with what I believe was water and left wide open for anyone not paying attention to stumble in, including my kids. When I called the company office the following  morning and asked why my lid was cracked and not put back on I was told to stand by and expect a later call while they called the drivers.
            
            Later that morning I was called and told that the lid would not fit back on the tank because my tank flexed to much. When I disagreed with the receptionist she put me into contact with rick who further promoted the same idea. So, I asked rick if it was company policy to know that when a tank supposedly flexes and the lids don't go back on the drivers don' t tell the homeowner that something may be wrong with the tank,and then they drive off with peoples money and leave a potentially dangerous open hole in the yard?Furthermore,I informed rick, that the lid was not cracked when I uncovered the access prior to calling his company. So rick offered to come out and look at the lid and seal. Instead of rick coming to inspect in the morning like I'd asked he showed up in the afternoon while I was on my way to work (very sly). My wife again at home with the kids called my cell to let me know rick was there. We spoke on the phone and he again informed me that there was no way to get the lid back on( Rick really must have thought I was an idiot,considering me and my dad built our homes and garages from the footers to shingles). I reiterated his crew driving off and not telling my wife about the open septic tank they could not seal. I further explained to rick that for breaking my lid and the complete disregard demonstrated by his drivers I wanted a new lid. After some further of the same back and forth he agreed.
            I put on an access cover and left the tank lid off. I called rick for about 3 weeks once a week. I got more frustrated by ricks empty promises and I stopped calling. My weekend off I unsealed the access put the damaged septic lid back on ( yes it fit perfectly) once attached I caulked the cracks let it dry and re sealed the access. This is a terrible company in my opinion, they offered no discount for there terrible service and only kept making empty promises,that my replacement was ordered and I get it as soon as possible. I'm writing this nearly a year after the incident/promises. 1st time with this company and the last time. I thought because of there phonebook page they where reputable, I learned a lesson. On a side note,I have wanted to write this review for a long time but my 2nd child had just been born and time among other things took precedence. I hope people can learn of this review and maybe save there self a lot of headache. If I had the time back then I would have used the BBB, they are great!

  • Excellent family owned local company. Flexible scheduling for continuous protection or one time application for specific problems. Very thorough and professional, much more so than my former provider. Set up an ongoing prevention schedule to meet needs.

  • Drained and moved water heater located in game room to an unfinished area of basement, added laundry tub and washer hookup and all new valving. Ran new electrical service to water heater. Extremely professional. Cleaned up when completed and was completed per schedule. This was the third time I have used the contractor, always with similar excellent results. Best plumbing contractor I have used.

  • Missed the completion date by over 6 months. Cost came in way over budget, primarily because of low balling the allowances, failure to oversee the job by management to ensure things were moving along smoothly without the need to rework and because of engineering mistakes which needed to be corrected during construction. Top management was spending all their time working on government projects for HUD and visited my site less than 10 times. Because of this I had to spend an enormous amount of time overseeing the job myself. After move-in I brought in another contractor, which cost thousands, to correct the inadequacies. I would not use this contractor again.

  • I contacted Davey Tree Expert Co as Mr. Miles Stephens (and his company) was listed on the International Society of Arboriculture website as a certified arborist.  I wanted an expert to diagnose/treat a fungus that I have on a very large and old maple tree that is close to my house.  Unfortunately, my service area was too far to receive service.  The receptionist, however, took a great deal of time to see if they could locate an aborist closer to my area.  Although they were unable to locate someone, they offered their time and assistance to check.  They were professional and courteous and went above and beyond what most companies do.
    Should I ever move closer to their service area, I would definitely give them a call.

  • The entire experience was A+ in my book. From the initial phone call to the finished product, I couldn't be happier.
    I was quickly scheduled to receive my free estimate and they actually arrived 10 minutes early. My windows were measured and Matt and Colleen were more than happy to answer my questions and discuss in detail any concerns that I had. I received the estimate before they ever left my property.
    We accepted their estimate and the work was completed less than 12 working days later. Matt and Colleen arrived on time and immediately went to work. They were prepared and continually cleaned up as they went. All debris was removed from the property and my new windows look great.
    One thing I'd like to mention is that my windows were mortared in place. Matt states he does this on all jobs; he did not use silicone caulking like several of the other contractors I spoke with.
    I would definitely hire Plum Glass Block again!

  • I was very satisfied with the whole experience from start to finish. The secretary was very pleasant, polite, and helpful. She kept me informed each step of the way and worked with my schedule for scheduling the service call. The problem was for the cental air unit which would turn-on but then automatically turn-off after a minute or so of running.
    The tech was very professional and happy to answer all my questions re: what he was doing and what he was testing for. The problem ended up being a bad thermostat which he replaced. After, he said he was going to check everything on the central air unit(outside). He had gone out ahead of me and when I joined him, he was adding refrigerant.
    I bring this up as he should have asked me if I wanted the service BEFORE doing it as my problem for the service call had already been fixed. Hence, the grade of B for professionalism on the report.
    I would seek their services again but would be certain to tell the tech to get my persmission for any service that would result in a charge.
