    Tom Ritz Construction
Paid initial deposit for materials. The work was never performed. Refund promised but never issued. ALL promises broken. ie: promise to repair, promise to refund, promise to return calls, etc We're about 6 months into this now. Note: I hired Tom Ritz Jr. for this work as Tom Ritz Sr. passed away

B&K Roofing turned an otherwise stressful situation into a very positive experience. They provided an honest estimate of the damage to my roof and attic and were very fair in their pricing. They were cordial and professional and went above and beyond what was expected of them. I would definitely hire them again. Thanks, again, B&K!

    Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet
After the gutter helmet was installed, we noticed that the water was pouring over the gutter because when it was installed, they left a gap on the end, and birds were building nests in the gutter. When we called gutter helmet, we were informed that they no longer serviced the county where we lived, and couldn't help us. A few years ago, at our county fair, gutter helmet was selling their product. When I complained to them about my problem they said they would clean them only if I paid them. Out of frustration, we paid them to come out to fix and clean the problem. When I came home from work, I noticed that they had been there and removed the gutter helmet. In doing this, they also broke some shingles off the edge of the roof. I called and never got a satisfactory answer as to why they took the gutter helmet back to Murraysville. They wouldn't refund my money, so I demanded the gutter helmet back. I had to make a trip to Murraysville to pick it up. Because of the damage they caused removing the gutter helmet, I had to have a new roof installed which ended up costing me $17,000.00. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Every time I see their ads stating, you'll never have to clean your gutters again, I want to call a lawyer.

B&R responded the same day to our phone, coming to look at the problem and gave us a cost to repair. They repaired our leaking roof almost immediately using torch down and then sealant. (the only issue was that it was still raining and we had to let the roof dry out) There was a call back needed and the owner responded personally and immediately. Yes I would hire again.. in a heartbeat. Quality work, great pricing, quick response.

    Donald M Miller Inc
Our experience with Donald Miller Roofing has been exceptionally good from the very beginning, and continues to this day. We put an unusual roof on our house for our area, and some contractors wouldn?t even give us a bid on the job. The men who came and did our roof work were gentlemen as well as craftsmen who took great pride in their work. The business is family-owned, and the owners also take pride in the work done by all members of their company. They even send the men out periodically?unsolicited by us and at no cost!?to check the roof to be sure all is well. Excellent work, wonderful owners and staff?can?t say enough good about this company. I would hire them again or recommend them without reservation.

It went quite well. Always on time. Cleaned up each day when finished, never left a mess. Done in a timely manner, even though we had some rainy days. Also had Nick replace interior doors at one time. Very neat and precise. I have recommended him to several neighbors. Trustworthy, can leave home when he is here and not have a worry.

    Alvin Sapp
Alvin Sapp provided excellent service. He and his crew came on the day promised and had the entire project completed in a bit under three days, allowing for a rain delay on the second day. Work appears to be first rate. A dumpster was brought in just before the work began and every...I mean...EVERY bit of debris was deposited there daily. Work began just after 7:00 each morning and ended around 4:00. When I got home from work each of those days, I thought elves had done the work because the work site (my yard) was immaculate. Mr. Sapp assured me that the estimate he provided would be the full price for the job, no ups, no extras. And it was. Mr. Sapp also worked with my homeowners insurance carrier to secure the correct amount for the job. Half of my roof had been damaged by high winds in May 2014. The other half was untouched. My insurance adjuster said the company would pay to replace the half of the roof that had been damaged. The insurance company's estimate for the repair was about $1,000 less than Mr. Sapp's estimate. Mr. Sapp provided a detailed estimate to the insurance carrier, who then agreed to pay the additional amount. When I decided it would be wise to replace the entire roof, Mr. Sapp came back and provided me with an estimate for the entire job. So, the job was neat, professional, and it cost $7,400. It should be noted here that when the roof was last replaced in 1995, the cost for the job was $5,000. When you consider that building materials have gone up pretty drastically in the last 19 years and, of course, labor has gone up too, $7,400 didn't seem unreasonable. You might find a cheaper price on your next roof, but cheaper doesn't always mean good value for the money. I recommend Alvin Sapp Roofing. 724-323-5646.

    Preferred Contracting Services
I ended up firing him. He had his trailer parked in my driveway for almost two months. For a job that should have taken about 4 days. He would not communicate when they would show up for work. They would show up and not even tell me that they were going to be there that day to do the work. He originally put this roof on for the previous homeowner. The roof was installed on a pitch that was not recommended by the manufacturer. That is why it was leaking. Thanks to his services from the previous homeowner, I had to put a $25,000 roof on. To put it nicely, I would not have him come back to clean my toilets. They claim that they have been in business for over 30 years. I called him and told him his services were no longer needed and come get your trailer or I will call the state police.

    BMR Construction

Excellent Contractor/Roofing Experience starting From Roof-Condition Evaluation/Labor-Materials Estimate and Formal Contract To Labor-Materials Installation and Debris Clean-Up and Haulaway!
Performed labor and provided quality materials for new 2500 ft. square roof (after tearing off old roofing shingles and any defective-inferior materials as per estimate amount and signed contract stipulations. They also installed new drip-edges; ice and snow-guards around the perimeter and valleys of roof; as well as new exhaust vents and new felt paper; along with several new (contract-stipulated) slant-back vents. They also cleaned-up and hauled away all residual debris and old materials on a daily basis.
This project only took about 3-4 days tops (factoring in 1-day rain delay) and they couldn't have been more courteous and accomodating in answering all our questions regarding this project.
Their professionalism, quality of work, work-ethic peformance and results were OUTSTANDING and EXEMPLARY and we are very pleased with the results. They provided top-notch quality work and excellent product/service results WITHIN THE CONTRACT ESTIMATE BUDGET and STIPULATIONS with a completely courteous and considerate manner.
