AJ Francis Company LLCJ. Francis did a mudroom addition and deck for us, and the quality of the work and materials was great. The crew was professional and polite, and adapted easily and quickly to some unanticipated issues discovered and some requested adjustments from us. They also had strong safety measures in place so that the project could be done amidst the Covid pandemic. The project management team was also very communicative, so we knew what had been completed, when issues arose, and what was planned to be done in the coming week. While the overall project cost ended up higher than expected, due in part to additional work we requested along the way, the work quality and the materials are top of the line so are worth the added cost.- SUSAN H.

ADale Hayden's PaintingDale and his guys did a great job wallpapering my office. Dale was responsive & his guys worked hard to get this project complete before the holidays. In addition Dale and his team have painted my kitchen, mud room, half bath and laundry room. They did a great job and worked hard to get it done in a timely manner. AESP PaintingEric and his crew were a pleasure to deal with: conscientious, professional, and proud of doing quality work. They painted the entire exterior of our house, a large 3-story Victorian, from the base of the foundation to the tip of the chimneys, including a lot of scraping and wood repair. ASWEET SUCCESS CONTRACTORSMy house is a large 110+ year old brick foursquare with a lot of wood trim. It was peeling badly and some of the wood trim was bad. Chris responded promptly to my inquiry. He was very helpful in helping me choose colors for the trim. This was an involved big 6 week job. His crew was prompt, polite and hardworking. They scraped, sanded, primed and painted the trim. They replaced bad wood when needed, even re-creating dentil molding when necessary. There was lots of debris from sanding and scraping, and they kept it contained. They pressure washed the aluminum sided enclosed back porch and repainted it. They removed ugly outdoor carpet from my front porch, pressure washed the cement and did masonry repairs and parging. They scraped the painted beadboard porch ceiling to reveal the detail before repainting it. Chris has dealt with old homes a lot, and I wanted someone who would appreciate my old house as much as I do. He did a great job and I would not hesitate to hire him again.- Vanessa R.

ABased on my recent experience, I recommend Kosta Painting and Refinishing for whole house exterior painting. We were late in the season (August) to reach out to painting companies. We met with three. Mr. Kosta was booked but said he would try to fit us in before the end of October. He contacted me every three/four weeks telling me how the schedule is looking. When he first came out, he walked around, explained options, types of paint he can use. I had a good idea of the job. He quoted an estimate, then the same estimate, written up arrived by mail. We agreed. He contacted me a week prior to say we are on schedule. Project manager Mike showed up. We reviewed the job at kick off, the power washers and scrapers arrived. They washed, cleaned, and prepped. The painters came right after. Excellent work by all. Mike and I did a final day walkthrough. He addressed a few last items (due to our stucco, not their work) and a few other minor details. Mr. Kosta was always in touch with me, checking in. Great, hard work by Mike and the crew, excellent price and communication by all.

AFrom the very first conversation, they were professional and responsive. Explained everything in great detail and answered all questions. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to get the job started during the middle of winter, but surprisingly got on the schedule and work started within 2 weeks of confirmation. It's been about 3 weeks since they finished, and the only thing that needed extra attention was a gutter needing caulking (it was leaking on a rainy day after installation). They sent the gutter crew out within 3 days of me calling, and they sealed up the leaky gutter. Very happy with their work.
