    Showed up on time. Diagnosed problem. Provided price for parts and labor prior to doing the work. Put machine back together and made sure it was working. One of my hoses sprung a leak and he replaced it free of charge.

    He was good. He went through the whole thing. He didn't add any charges on. He had to make two trips of course because of the repair. He didn't charge me for the repair he just charged for the new machine. He drove. It was like a half hour drive because he went to my dad's. He's right near me, but he went to my dad's. It was a good experience.

    We have gotten the number from his parents about 10 years ago. We have only used him twice because that was the only time I needed anything done. He was very good and very professional. I liked that he didn't charge for his travel time. He didn't even charge for labor. I don't know if he does that with everybody. It could have been because he knew my in-laws. The refrigerator still works though it's 25 years old. They don't even make Calorics anymore. I thought his pricing was good. Maybe because he knew my in-laws, he only charged us for the parts. The one who did the work was very good and he knew what he was talking about. The refrigerator used to be my parents' and he explained what goes wrong and we keep it as long as we can because it keeps my food really cold for a long time. I know I'm going to need a new gasket. I don't know if we can do that ourselves or not. If we can't, I will call him.

    Our stove had been heating inconsistently, so we researched Roger's Appliance Parts and then gave them a call. We described the problem and gave him the model no. for the stove, over the phone. He was able to schedule same day service. When he arrived, he immediately went to work and explained the problem. It took him less than an hour to replace the part (igniter) and charged a very reasonable price. His conduct was very friendly and professional. I would definitely do business with him again.

    I had gone through all the trouble-shooting procedures suggested by the refrigerator operating manual.  All to no avail.
    Roger arrived, checked the same items that I had, reviewed the operation of the compressor,  fans, and internal ducts.  Then, with time running out and needing to get better freezer temperature data, left for the evening to return the next morning.
     The next morning, with freezer temperatures confirming that the compressor, and fans were functioning properly, Roger removed the freezer compartment rear panel.   It revealed that the evaporator coils were largely clogged with frost, preventing the required movement of cold air to the upper refrigerator compartment.    After defrosting these coils and flow areas, the problem was over.
    Roger showed good problem solving skills and expert understanding of the function of our brand of refrigerator.  His fix was performed rapidly.   Good Job.

    I called to let them know I turned on my air conditioner and it did not work after a thunder storm.   They came and repaired the product in one day.  The cost was in line with what work they performed and they service tech was punctual and friendly.  He explained what was wrong and what needed done as well as the cost before repairing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a repair for their air conditioner.
    Just to let you know Beam installed my Furnace and Air conditioner 21 years ago and check it on a regular bases.  They did a great job then and have continued throughout the years to assist me when needed.

    I called Roger's Appliance Repair on 4-15-13 and left a message. He called back on 4-16 and apologized for not calling sooner as he had knee surgery on friday. (I was surprised he called back at all considering that.) After a brief discussion of the problem and reading off the model number of my stove to him he said that he could come over shortly and take a look at the stove. Since I was home anyway I said sure no problem. I was expecting him to say that parts needed to be replaced.
    He arrived when he said he would and examined the stove, and said this is fixable. He quickly cleaned the oven and stove top burner. Both burners now work well. He was fast, pleasant, and very professional. I will call him again for appliance repair.
    I really was stunned by his service. Most places will make you schedule an appointment just to look at the item and a different appointment for the repair. Also considering his knee surgery he really above and beyond the call of duty by coming over to fix my stove. But it is appreciated. I would and will tell all my neighbors to call him if they need an appliance repaired. 
    And considering the cost of a new gas stove he saved me 600 dollars when you think about it.

    George arrived within a reasonable time of when he said he would, taking into account that he had previous calls where he was not certain what type of repairs would be required or how long they would take. 
    When he arrived, George spent about 15-20 minutes studying the problem and explaining what he suspected might be the possible sources of the problem and why.  After consideration and investigation, George determined that the previously mentioned repairs were necessary.  All during this process, George explained everything that he was thinking and doing.  He willingly and cheerfully answered any questions that we posed.  I feel that he efficiently handled the problem and exhibited a high level of knowledge and skill in refrigerator repair.  In other words--he knows his stuff.
    I cannot say enough about what a great guy George is.  He is down-to-earth, hard working and very pleasant.  Over a year ago, he repaired my clothes dryer and it was then that I realized what a gem he was.  Although I hope to not need any major appliance repairs in the near future,  I will certainly call Pittsburgh Service Center when I do.

    We contacted them on 11/5/14 to see if they worked on LG refrigerators, they did not reply until 11/21/14. We had to hire someone else while waiting to hear from them.
