ACharles Lake Septic Tank CleanMr. Lake did a very thorough job cleaning out our septic tank and sand-mound effluent tank. He came exactly when he was scheduled, was in and out quickly, and really knew what he was doing. He explained things we should watch out for and do to prevent problems with our system and seemed genuinely interested in making sure our system worked well and would remain trouble-free. AMc Kee ExcavationIt was a flat fee of 210 for me to have my 1000 gallons pumped. I had dug out my lid and they said it was fine to tape my check to the back door since I wasn't going to be home. I noticed when I got home they dug alittle more and didn't charge me extra. The receipt was nicely taped to the back door in an envelope. You couldn't even tell they were there. They cashed the check immediately (I liked that too). I would use them again.- Pamela M.

FTC's P & EPoorly. Initially was responsive, worked around problems with access to the site. However, misread plans for system, resulting in need for extra materials which I had to pay extra for, did not install all of the cleanouts specified on the plans. Finally, system has never worked as it should, pump doesn't work properly, and I have been chasing after him for nearly a year to get it fixed. I would stay away from this contractor.- Peter R.

FDelta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.

AIt went very well. They did a real good job finding and repairing leaks in my roof, replacing defective gutters and downspouts. They then did a project to add drainage pipes front and rear. Reshaped the land and brought in topsoil to ensure that water runs away from the house instead of into it. I am very pleased and am hiring them to do additional projects. They are courteous, prompt and stand behind their work.

AThis company is fantastic. I was a little unsure if I needed to purchase a warranty to begin with. I am truly glad I did. I called American Home Guard later that week and the technician was there for about an hour. Even though he couldn't fix it we ordered the part and they paid for the whole thing. I am definitely looking forward to renewing next year. You just really don't know what can happen.
