FPeachey Complete Chimney ServiceI had my chimney cleaned by the father Marlin. The son Vincent came to install my boiler. It took several weeks to get them here and several weeks to install. Each time they came they quoted a time and were a minimum of 5 hours late! The access door for cleaning was never cemented in place and the boiler connection was improperly connected. The son Vincent told me I need my chimney cleaned. When I stated your dad cleaned it two months ago. Well you need a new chimney liner or my home would burn down. I called the father and ask him why he didn’t tell me I needed a liner. He made a lot of excuses and never answered the question while blaming my family member for exaggerating this statement. Vincent told me I needed the liner while staring at my chest in a very inappropriate way. Really gave me the creeps. After reading another review here on Angies list I wish I had read the reviews prior to hiring this establishment.- Candi P.

ADOUG DECKER MASONRY INCI have heard about them through Angies List. I thought he and his partner were just wonderful. They were on time when I called him and he said he would come and give an estimate at a certain time, he was here. I have waited all day for other ones but he was here on time. He called me when he could start the job. He started it and he finished it in record time. I didn't shop around because when I had heard the recommendation that he had from other people on Angies list and how they went out of their way to please them, I was satisfied with the recommendations and I was satisfied with the price because I don't have to do it over again like how I have done with other people. I would most certainly use them again if needed, I wouldn't call anybody else. I have told about him to other people.- Janet D.

For nearly 40 years, I have dealt with contractors, builders and my own employees and I can honestly say that I can't remember experiencing 2 individuals with a stronger work ethic effortwise and who are truly skilled craftsmen who take pride in the quality of their work.d masonry A husband and wife team, Sterling initially was hired to do major brick and stone renovations to my patio... this is Maria's area of expertise as she has been doing historic renovations for some time. Her husband Nathan's craft is woodworking and I initially hired him to build all my cabinets... again, attention to detail is his forte. I had just purchased a large, 50 year old home and had about a year's worth of major renovation necessary to get it in shape. There was a general contractor that I had employed for the interior, but soon it became apparent that the quality of their work wasn't acceptable. Understand that I had hired Nate and Maria independently from the general contractor and very quickly realized the difference in the quality of their work from the GC. Soon problems/failures began to occur.with the general's work That is when I decided that with about 4 months still left, I needed to make a course correction and that I could be totally confident that if Sterling completed the job, when all was finished, everything would be fixed.... and fixed with craftsmanlike work.... top shelf quality. And that is exactly how it turned out. Sterling had to reinstall showers, do major reconstruction involving installation of windows/doors, floor reinstallation, and much more.. What I so appreciated was that altho Maria and Nate could easily have built/renovated this house from scratch by themselves, they knew when to bring in excellent electricians and plumbers etc. if that was what was the best way to proceed. And each sub cntractor they brought in had a similar work ethic.... just seems that excellent craftsmen have their own circle of other excellent craftsmen.... and that certainly was the case with Sterling. As for the cost... I would have saved a lot if I had hired Sterling from the beginning to do it all. Their hourly rate was extremely competitive, perhaps on the low side knowing what I now know. But these guys just constantly work... so little down time and that is where I come back to my comment about work ethic... you will always get 'more' than expected from them, never 'less'. And one other very important yet subtle point.... when someone is going to be in your house for any extended period of time, you better feel comfortable with their personalities. And Marie and Nate are just a true pleasure to have here every day... just real sunny dispostions. In sum, I have written dozens of recommendations for both former employees and outside workers.... but in my 40 years in the business world and as a home owner, I can say there is no one I have ever felt so confident in recommending and give Sterling my highest recomendation. I will be glad to discuss any aspect of their work should you have questions.- ken l.

AZOOK'S MASONRYThe walls were plumb/square and within a 1/4" of the plans. The slabs were all level and smooth. These guys are quick but do very good work. The framers and other contractors on the job site also commented on how good the work was.- STEPHEN M.

AThe two gentlemen arrived quite punctually and were very thorough. The furnace chimney did not require sweeping, nor did my fireplace, but they were able to take a look at the fireplace and advised me not to use it until it had been properly outfitted (it's an older fireplace, so this was not a surprise!) Instead of just completing the basic inspection and leaving, they also examined my dryer vent and took a look at my ductwork to see if it needed cleaning - and upon seeing I have some rather difficult to work with ducts, recommended another company because they felt they'd do the better job! Great to work with, punctual, honest folks, and fairly priced. What more can you ask from service people?

AMy initial contact with Leelands was 10 years ago. I really admired the work they had done on my neighbors house. I just couldn't afford slate repair or replacement at the time. The employees were always courteous and patient. Fast forward to May 2018, I had exhausted all the patching my roof could take. I contacted Leelands, Donna promptly scheduled Luke to come out for an estimate. Luke was on time and provided honest feedback. I recieved a Photo Report, Field Condition Report and Proposals a few weeks later. It took me a few more months to decide how to proceed. In October, Leelands sent Gabriel and Miguel to make the repairs. They were prompt, courteous and worked diligently to finish the job. After a rainy 2018, my roof is still leak free.
