    Don's Power Equipment
We were very satisfied with them. They got back to us. They actually picked up the lawnmower and brought it back to us. It was cleaned up and working again. We were very happy with them. Their pricing was reasonable.

    Larry's Saw Shop
I am very satisfied with the business. I had a chance to talk to the owner - Larry. He provided me information on proper maintenance of the lawnmover, use of additives for the gas. He expained the background of needed repairs. I actually paid less than I was quoted as the technician fixed my starter by cleaning contacts in relay. There was no need for a new starter. He also fixed some minor electrical wiring problems - which I was not aware of - safety feature preventing moving when move backward was not working properly. New carburetor was installed and calibrated. Oil and filter were changed since it was flooded with overflowing gas. Technician explained me on what happened when carburetor was bad in plain words. Technician also fixed the wobbly pulley by adding extra shim - this eliminated rattling during the moving. Last year the Carns Equipment wanted to install the whole new assembly ($56) to fix that. I am very satified with the rendered services at Larry's Saw shop - prompt service, complete explanations of what needs to be done, what was done, tips on how to maintain, timely phone calls from the business about estimates and readiness. I am impressed! Mowed the grass afterwards and I used a lot less gasoline.

    Port's Sports Emporium
I had Port's pick up my 27hp riding mower for a transmission oil change.  They sharpened the blades and changed the transmission oil.  They returned the mower about 2 wks later for a charge of a little over $200.00 including delivery.  I ran the mower for about an hr. and all of a sudden I had transmission oil running out .  I had to put 2 quarts of oil in to move the mower about  300yds into the barn. I called Ports and they came over the next day and got the mower.  They had to put 2 more quarts in to get the mower onto their cart.  Oil was running out.  I never checked to see if they put the filter on tight.     4 wks later after 2 calls to see what was going on  and the only answer was a hose broke and Simplicity sent the wrong part and they would call me when it was done.   A  week later they returned the mower.  The charge was $258.00     So over $450.00 for an oil change and now my Power Steering is making a horrible noise.  I hope my power steering doesn't go while I'm on it.     This mower only has 300hrs on it !     My thoughts are they didn't tighten the filter enough and the mower slid off their cart or something to bust that hose and screw up the power steering.  Also it doesn't take a month to get a part.  They had  the mower so long my grass was over knee high.  I had groundhogs and raccoons.  I have 4 acres which I normally keep cut to help keep the animals away.
