AUnicorp Home Energy ServicesI contacted Unicorp to get an estimate on my front door and also to replace my roof after several other companies failed to bid the project. Doug Werber, the Unicorp representative who coordinated my project, was professional and responsive to my questions. He visited my property and provided me with options for replacing my front door system with a new Provia door with sidelites and a storm door as well as Certainteed shingles for the roof. He was very timely in providing an estimate for the project. His professionalism led me to contract with the company. Two different crews performed the work, one for the roof and the other for the door. Both crews were professional, completed the work as described and performed a thorough cleanup of the premises. The company also followed up after the work was performed to ensure I was satisfied. I would definitely hire Unicorp to perform future work on my house.- Tyson B.

AWINDOW PERFECTIONSOur project consisted of 20 windows and 2 patio doors. Brian and his crew (Kenny and Dan) were here 3 days for installation. They were wonderful! Courteous, professional, and very respectful of our home (laying down ground clothes, vacuuming debris, and cleaning windows after install). We are so happy we decided to go with Window Perfections. AWINDOW PERFECTIONSWe are really please with the work the crew did. Very professional and punctual. The windows turned out great and a month later, are still in fine condition. We worked with Mark to come up with design ideas; he is easy to work with and followed up with all of our calls. We had talked with 4 other contractors and many of them pulled tactics mentioned in [*** Link removed ***] Some of them never even called us back for and estimate or showed up on time. Window Perfections did excellent work. We think they were appropriately priced (Pella wanted over 20k for the same job). They followed up with us to make sure we were happy and satisfied with the work. I would recommend these guys to anyone to get window work done.- Isaac g.

AMy Builders IncExcellent. I can always count on Mike's honesty and quality. We thought we could just repair a door sill and frame... but the door really needed to be replaced.. is was misshapen and not even locking correctly. He discussed everything with me first. He got me an economic but quality door and charged a reasonable price for installation. I also have a basement door that is near a drain and it was allowing water to come in. Mike advised me on cleaning up the drain and he was ingenious in his solution of cutting off the existing door and raising the floor sill with treated lumber and caulking it all. I have had no water issues there since and my garage back door is beautiful and completely secure now. I highly recommend My Builders Inc for any kind of repair or construction job. AWe were extremely happy with the service, installation and quality provided by Pella of McMurray. We dealt with Rob Culbertson. Rob was superb to deal with in many aspects. I highly recommend selecting Rob to handle your needs. The installers were professional, respectful and diligent. They worked hard under cold conditions. They were cognizant of their cleanliness too and swept up frequently. The fiberglass windows and doors look great and I examined them thoroughly. My neighbors have been complimentary too. ACan’t say enough good things about Mike! Requested a quote through Angie’s List and heard back from him within 24 hours. We had water coming into our basement during hard rain due to not having window wells installed and we wanted to get them put in ASAP. Mike came by to take a look the day he called and he fit us in the next day. He and my husband did the work together which saved a lot of time and money. Mike was extremely positive, enthusiastic, and generally a pleasure to be around! We have a few more jobs around the house we need done and will definitely be calling him again.

DI set up an estimate time a few days in advance; one hour before the appointment, they called to make sure my wife would be there - this was the first they'd mentioned a both-spouse requirement. Our schedules make that nearly impossible, especially on an hour's notice. The sales rep told me it was my fault, then transferred me to the "confirmation department," where someone there set up another appointment and assured me that I would NEVER find another contractor without this "both-spouse" requirement. After contacting five other businesses that were much easier to deal with, I called back to cancel my appointment - and was forced to endure one sales pitch after another from someone who just wouldn't cancel my appointment. It felt like an argument, not a business call. After I thought I'd finally ended all this and canceled the appointment, she asked me for a reason - as though we hadn't been talking all this time. I cited the difficulties in doing anything with them, and she asked me to consider them in the future... If it's this difficult to do something minor, I can only imagine the headaches with something major. I've already received prompt, personal, and professional attention from several of their competitors.
