  • Lonnie did a fantastic job, I was very impressed. I have a 26' custom trailer with solar panels which I use for camping, but the roof and siding were rotted. Kind of an odd, unusual job I know. Lonnie towed the trailer to his shop, and replaced everything with metal. He remounted the solar panels, and even fixed the trailer lights. He has a great attention to detail and clearly loves his work, and is enthusiastic about doing it right. He put in lots of extra effort and went above and beyond, and this was during the busiest time of the year for him. I am so lucky to have found him, he's really a great guy who takes a lot of pride in his work.

  • Contact prior to the move was great and pretty good throughout. They loaded the truck on a Friday, stored it for the weekend, and unloaded at the new house on Monday. Initial papers indicated 6 movers, but there were only 3 for the whole day, with an additional 3 there for part of the day. The process seemed to take much longer than they expected. I had to leave before they were done and they said they would continue until they finished, but they ended up leaving shortly after I did, leaving several items they were supposed to have taken. They had to return Monday morning to get those before going to the new house, and as our closing was at 11 and they had to have everything out by 10am, neither I nor the realtor was happy at their 10am arrival. Unloading at the new house again had only three people the entire day, with a few additional for a part of the day. Although in general the loading and unloading went fairly well, multiple well-labeled boxes found their way into places that made no sense (master bath boxes in the storage shed!). Our refrigerator door arrived with numerous rather large dents (to me at least - they are visible from several feet away). They offered $100 off the cost and I said that was fine and will just hang something over it. If that had been the only thing, I could have lived with it, but over the course of the next week or so as we unpacked and moved furniture, we found additional items with damage that they knew they damaged. A wheel on an antique desk was broken off (not fixable with that wheel) and as I found the wheel inside the desk drawer, they had to have known. A large storage bin with multiple drawers must have tipped over as one drawer was cracked and a piece of plastic missing. Washer has dents on the front. And the list goes on, some larger issues than others. I am not appreciative of the fact that they did not mention any of these damages, some of which they had to be aware of, especially since before they leave, you sign off that everything is fine - which of course is almost impossible to truly do in one day. As our move was on a Monday, our boys had school the next day and when my son went to get his clothes from his old dresser which was supposed to be in the basement (he got a new one and hadn't moved his clothes over yet), he was unable to find it. It was not in the basement, not in the garage, not in the storage shed. As a last resort I looked outside the basement walkout door and they had left it sitting outside. At least it was wrapped in a shipping pad as it had rained overnight and this managed to keep the wooden dresser from getting completely wet, but again, not happy about that. And as a last thing, after paperwork was done, check was written and they were leaving the neighborhood, they flew out of our driveway with both of their small vans driving way too fast for this rural neighborhood. It was as if they couldn't wait to be done and weren't happy with the move and/or tip (which from my research beforehand was pretty decent sized). Despite being 8 pm, there was no need to drive as dangerously out of the neighborhood as they did. Although they were completely professional in all of their direct interactions with me, I feel that there were numerous unprofessional aspects to this move. Their price was about $800 less than the other mover we were considering, so not a huge amount that would make me say, well, I guess I got what I paid for, but I was disappointed considering the glowing reviews they received from others. I would not use them again for a house move, but might recommend to others for a smaller move or just to move a few items.

  • The upper section was done passably, the last section was completely rough, stones protruding, uneven, HORRIBLE. HE SAID, he would come back to redo it again and has now reneged on that. Also left concrete on my deck, can't get off, won't come back to clean it off. How he made your list is BEYOND me. This has been an on going battle for over TWO YEARS !!!!!

  • I have a home warranty as a new homeowner, and the warranty company dispatched Mr. Spiket. He responded within a few hours, and came out 2 hours later to diagnose the problem. He called the warranty company for authorization to unclog the drain, but the warranty company put him on hold for over 20 minutes. I needed the drain fixed even if it wasn't with the warranty, so he started the service and followed up with the warranty company later that day. He only charged me the $100 service fee as required by the warranty company, and the remainder was paid by the warranty. Bill was very quick to respond and he got my kitchen sink back in working order that same day!

  • I had them 30 years ago and he was here 5 - 10 years ago to check it. He came back again and again but this last time he said it needed to be replaced. They are excellent people. They are above board. They were here for 3 days and didn't leave a spot of anything anywhere. I would recommend them one thousand percent.

  • Melodie was very helpful. She was able to assess my preferred color palette and guide me into the color choices that will best suit my décor. She was also creative with her suggestions regarding furniture and flooring choices for our long term goals. Melodie's professional manor allowed us to maximize our 3 hour consultation successfully.

  • The first day went great! The foreman was available, the area was cleaned up, everything seemed like it would go great all week long. Then the second day came. My husband and I both work, but I got home at about 3. The workers were already gone. We could tell they were not going the full way around the basement. They were not fixing the crack on the inside or outside of the foundation.  IT WAS A MESS! My husband called the foreman (who we found out was not on site the rest of the week) and told him the things that needed to be completed as stated by the sales person. Day Three, I came home and things were looking much better, the cracks filled in (although I still doubt they followed them), and some of the mess cleaned up. The workers were still here and the one "foreman in training" stated they may be done tomorrow. TOMORROW? it is supposed to be a full week of work. And for quality work it should take at least that long. That night I also found their mastic (black tar like substance) open outside, and another chemical open on the inside. Again my husband called the foreman and stated the things that needed accomplished.  After that week of work, we ended up with a wet basement.  My husband had to call the office, and it took an additional month to get someone out to fix the two parts of the basement's French drains (under the stairs and near a walkway). I would not recommend them to anyone!!

  • Butler floor did an excellent job. They worked with us and accommodated our schedule and the quality o their work is amazing. When they installed the hardwood they were able to do it so that I didn't even need transition molding where it meets my existing tile. The attention to detail and quality of the work was incredible.

  • In short, at the beginning of the year, we get a description of what we have had done the previous year with the cost, they offer a 4% discount if we pre-pay before early March, and then we don't think about weed control or pest control applications or fertilizing the rest of the year. They show up when they are supposed to based upon weather and other factors and leave a note on our door with information about they did as well as any pertinent lawn care tips we need.
We had them a previous property and when we moved, they just transferred all the services over at our request. When we had yard work done and needed to change what was done, they were flexible on scheduling around the workers and have made appropriate adjustments for the vulnerable new plants and grass.
I am very happy with Custom Lawn Care and highly recommend them.

  • Excellent work, very nice people and I would recommend then anytime. They  encounter a wasp nest and took care of it instead of  walking away from the nest. Thank you
