  I needed my hearing aids to do some specific things, and was assured that the hearing aids I was interested in purchasing would be able to meet those needs: I wanted to be able to hear my wife in the next room, I wanted to be able to hear people during general dinner conversation, and I wanted to be able to hear the television at a normal volume. After 60 days of use I didn't notice any change in my hearing, I was told that it could take up to a year before I saw fully significant results. It has been a year now, and the only solution that I have been given is to add different adapters to my surroundings to get the device work fully.

  My dad continued to have severe chest pain and discomfort after his open heart procedure, but Dr. Follansbee could not figure out the cause. He was basically throwing the "kitchen sink" of diagnoses at us. We received everything from ALS to depression. He also overlooked an AV Fistula that he had in his femoral artery causing severe problems and did not take his chest pain serious. We had no other choice but to seek medical attention outside of the UPMC network and went to Cleveland Clinic.  After making several calls to Dr. Follansbee's office to question certain tests and inquire the reason why the fistula was never repaired, we were unable to receive an answer. When my father called Dr. Follansbee for an appointment, they did not even have the courtesy to return his calls. This is another example of a becoming a number to these hospitals and doctors. They don't care about the patients any more.  My dad is a 58 year old male that UPMC has destroyed with careless mistakes and negligence.

  I've been seeing Dr. Donnelly since 1980.
  I've stuck with him because he listens, he cares, he is knowledgeable and has accommodated my needs as a Gay man.
  I wholeheartedly recommend him even though his practice is now affiliated with UPMC (the Evil Empire).

  This practice is wonderful. I've had appointments with Dr. Case and Dr. Shobana. They've been very accomodating with getting me in quickly when I've been sick and very thorough with all visits (providing detailed explanations and answering all of my questions). I've even received a follow-up phone call several days later to make sure that my condition had improved.

  He was very quick, he saw my husband quickly and he diagnosed him. He was great as far as what medication was needed and with the follow ups. I was not really impressed with his office staff because they were kind of short snippy, but he was very professional, helpful and kind with my husband. I found him on Angie's list.

  My experience with Dr. McQuone has always good been as she is very qualified and has great bedside manner. She has always given me good treatment and genuinely cares about my well being.The only negative thing I have to say about Dr. McQuone is that there is some times a long wait when you have an appointment which only happens occasionally.

  Dr. Pierce is wonderful. Dr. Pierce is so good her practice moved an hour away from our house and we followed her out there. I took my wife's cousin to see her. The Dr. squeezed her in and gave up her lunch to see my wife's cousin. She went out of her way to do us that favor.

  .I went to see Dr. Shelly J. McQuone she is the surgeon that did my sinus surgery. She's very professional and also personable, she gives me all the time that I need and even write out my instructions for me. The Dr. makes herself available for me to call her on the phone and never makes me feel rushed. The office staff is very friendly. I will continue to use her.
