    FENCE WORLD OF SOUTH JERSEY
Fence World was awesome. Their Salesman Dave arrived with product samples and a wealth of information. He quoted us a reasonable price and told us to call after we received estimates from other companies. There were a few companies that quoted a lower price, however many did not have samples of their fencing materials or the samples they had were flimsy. We settle on Fence World and are very glad that we did. The owner Chuck called to let us know the name of the onsite supervisor scheduled for our job (Lee). Chuck reminded me that our fence was guaranteed and told me to call him personally if we had questions or issues in the future. On the designated day Lee and his assistant arrived early. They were finished digging the holes for the front and back fences in under an hour. Once the county inspector approved the holes. Lee and his assistant was off to the races. They poured the cement, installed the post and completed the fences in less than 5 hrs. They removed the old fencing and left my yard spotless. Dave, Lee, his assistant, and Chuck's written material and installation guarantee distinguishes Fence World as a quality company. Thanks for setting standard and exceeding them! Mrs. V. W.

    ALL TYPE FENCE CO
Although All Type Fence company was on the high end with regards to estimates that I received for about 200' of aluminum fencing (about $1000 higher than the next-lowest estimate), they were very easy and pleasant to work with through the estimate process. In particular, Phil was very responsive, arrived on time for the estimate, and was friendly. He provided me with a very prompt estimate. Especially in comparison to many of the other companies and individuals from whom I had requested estimates, he was extremely professional. I wish that their estimate had come in lower, as I would otherwise feel very comfortable having them do this work.

    Baldoni Landscape LLC
I wish that I didn't have a reason to write this review because I had liked that Baldoni Landscape was apparently willing and able to do my fencing, landscaping, and paving. Instead, I have major concerns about their follow-through and am quite disappointed. Josh was very responsive to my initial request that he come out to give me an estimate for landscaping, fencing, and concrete work I wanted done. It was very easy to set up that initial meeting, and on the agreed upon day, Josh arrived on time and was very friendly. Eight days after Josh stopped by, I emailed him to ask when he thought he'd be able to get me an estimate for the work we had talked about. He responded the next night and told me he would get it to me within two days. Four days later--that's two days after he told me I would have the estimate--he emailed me back letting me know that he didn't have all of the measurements that he needed and would stop by later that day to finish up measuring. He assured me he would send me the estimate later that day. Five days after that I emailed him to check in one last time and asked that he send me the estimate. He responded to my email and let me know that he would get the estimate to me by the end of the night. He didn't. It sounds like things over at Baldoni Landscape are busy--I absolutely understand this is a busy time of year. That's ok. What I don't understand is why it has been on me to try and track down this estimate over the course of three weeks, half a dozen email exchanges, and three separate assurances that I would have my estimate "by end of day," "later today," "this evening." If I had been told at the outset that it was going to take at least three weeks to get me an estimate I wouldn't be writing this review. I would've been surprised, but I wouldn't be upset. The "F" grades I gave are solely with regards to their repeated failure to get me an estimate, despite providing me with three assurances that I would have it by specific deadlines. Very disappointing.

    Standard Fence Company
After a few delays, the owner and one other worker came out to replace the fence. It was POURING rain. They completed the work quickly and the fence looks beautiful. The price seemed quite reasonable.

    ProFenceDeck LLC
Went well, took longer than expected to get work started (seems to be norm for me), I had to get my own permit (also had to do for other jobs). Serge asked a couple times about my satisfaction and I didn't mention a couple things since they weren't a huge deal for me but since this is a review I will disclose. First problem that I had was that the dirt that was dug up for the post was left on property leaving me another project to do, cleaning it all up. My house is on a small lot, a townhome, not large single backing up to woods or anything so the volume of dirt was significant. I had some unevenness in my yard so thought that the dirt could fill it but it was much more than I thought and covered half of the grass left on the side of my house. I only mention it because for some this could be a problem and you should discuss disposal of this dirt prior to job if it's a problem for you. Also I got the fence so that my dog couldn't get out. He is 10 lbs and there was a gap left in one area that I needed to close with some edging. Overall, Serge is highly recommended. He was very responsive, and communicative (rare in my experience). Always responded in a timely fashion and was very professional, which was much appreciated. The fencing job looks beautiful and I am very happy with it and have received lots of compliments about it. Was all done in a day. Thank you Serge!

    Standard Fence Company

As I stated, Standard Fence Co. tore my old chain link fence down ,installed a new one and it was done before I could get off work.

Everything was cleaned up,and we couldn't be happier !! The job turned out very nicely and looks truly professional.

***UPDATE*** We had a problem with gate latching correctly that started just after all the ice that we got. STANDARD FENCE CO.  came out within 15 minutes of my call, corrected problem at no charge and was very cheerful about the whole thing not leaving me feeling as though I was a bother to him as some companies tend to do at times. Joe DeMayo  is a great guy that really knows his stuff !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

    Split Rail Fence Store
Overall, things went great. At first I was a little hesitant about going with Pete. I sent an email requesting a quote for both materials and an install using measurements that another contractor had measured when he came to do a quote. The quote came within a day and blew the other 4 quotes I had received out of the water. Pete's quote was $500 less than anyone else.
At that point I tried to get Pete to write up a contract or give me a firm quote, since I wanted to make sure the great price stayed at a great price. I never did end up getting anything more than the estimate but I decided to go with it anyway, against everything I had read and seen about doing business without a contract first.
I'm glad I took the chance because everything turned out as planned. The materials were delayed a day getting delivered to the house, but they gave me a head's up first. The installer, Jim Thistle, and one other guy did the entire install in a day and it looks great. The only drawback to the install was a few broken plants that weren't even really near the install location that I think they could've been more careful around. All things considered it was a good job, but I'd still prefer if there a signed contract at some point, or at least a firm quote.

    Delaware Valley Fence And Iron
The owner Tom responded quickly to my phone call. He was over to assess what was needed and took measurements. Then he asked for a deposit and told me that he would install it while I was at work. Sure enough, I came home Friday to see that the work was done. His service was quick, fairly priced and gave me all the answers to my questions. I will do business with them again.

    Lawn works Landscaping Co
They started working on my retaining wall, which was a lot of work. they had to dig, replace all rotten wood and put stone for proper drainage. I was very happy with the results. I then wanted the stone taken from my patio and steps and in it's place I wanted pavers. In between the job they were installing my new PVC fence which I ordered from the beginning. three sides came out fine until they got to the one side and from there everything went downhill. the post was not put in the same place as the posts they removed which made the entire side of the yard with a gap all the down the entire side of the yard. It was not even, so when the last side of fencing got put up, there was a hugh gap down the entire side. The owner called me out to say there was a problem. When asked to rectify the problem, he put rocks in to fill the gaps and additional fencing underneath the installing fencing to try to make it look presentable. When asked to fix it, he would not, and came up so many different excuses as to why it is the way it is. All I wanted is for it to be the way he said it would when he was hired for the job. Mistakes are made all the time, but he did not want to put the money out to have it fixed., His workers and subs are really excellent, and I would hire them again if they did not work for him. He also put all new  dirt and sod, and my yard has to be refilled in spots already because there are gaps.  either there was not sufficient  dirt put down or it was not tampered enough.. The entire side of my yard is horrible, with pieces of wood and stone to cover up the gaps. A good business man would have fixed his mistake, because he was at fault and he knows it. I will not say no more, but every time I look at my yard I get annoyed. I will not say anymore as to want continued after all this!
