Brynden Craig Plumbing & Heating, LLC
Very reasonable price-  it was a big job.  Cleaned up each day.  Professional workers with professional oversight.  Helped us choose appliances that were excellent quality (I wanted to save money by going to a box store).  Brynden explained the difference in quality and found excellent quality products at a reasonable price.

He is a perfectionist. The job was never completed until he was satisfied that it was done correctly. Fast, efficient worker never stopping for lunch. Clean orderly and fast. Never a complaint with him. A very pleasant work experience.

Kip and his team transformed our completely unfinished cold and concrete basement into a warm and beautiful multi-room living space that my whole family will enjoy for years to come! Kip patiently worked with my husband and I to come up with the design for our basement. He came up with multiple plans for a space that was to include a large playroom, an adult media area (complete with a gorgeous wet bar), a gym/ fitness room, and a full bathroom. We met and designed the basement over the course of a few weeks in early August. Once we had our plans, we were anxious to get started. Lucky for us, Kip didn't disappoint.  Kip gave us a 3 month time-line for the job. The project was to run from mid-September through mid December. Kip sent a team of 3 men, Mike, Dan and Bob to build our basement. Mike was the faithful team leader, and he and his crew remodeled our basement from start to finish. All 3 men were respectful, knowledgeable, and meticulous. They showed up daily, on time, and got right to work. Mike and team were clearly dedicated to our total satisfation of their work.  He often asked for our input, and was very communicative and receptive to changes as the project moved along. As promised, our basement was finished right on schedule, and on budget too! We had no surprise expenses or extra costs that weren't expected or discussed ahead of time. We couldn't be happier with our end result, and we look forward to future projects with Kip and Millennium.

    Fosters Plumbing Heating & Cooling
Brian had not entered our first appointment in his electronic calendar and therefore did not show, but when I e-mailed him asking why, he promptly called and apologized and scheduled a follow-up appointment for which he arrived promptly.  He declined one repair that had been recommended in a plumbing inspection by another plumber, explaining why it was an unnecessary expense, and efficiently repaired three troubled toilets and replaced the kitchen sink faucet.  When we balked at the price of a kitchen sink replacement faucet through his plumbing supply store, he went online and helped us find a lifetime warranty replacement faucet in stock at a local Lowe's that would suffice and was much less expensive. I went to Lowe's and bought that faucet while he performed the toilet repairs, and he installed it quickly and efficiently.  He does not price gouge, is clear in his recommendations and in explaining the plumbing issues he is addressing, and is pleasant and thoroughly professional.

    Master Kitchen & Bath Design
The project included -  replacing & enlarging the tiled shower, replacing the soaking tub, adding tiled wall surfaces and a heated tiled floor, two new vanities/sinks with quartzite counters, and replacing the toilet. The final product was expertly crafted.  Although the project took longer than projected, part of the delay was a change that we made.  But you ultimately enjoy the finished product despite the time to completion. We are saving for MKBD to remodel the second bath.

Kip came out for our consultation, took measurements and did a 3D Autocad design that we were able to view and make adjustments to during our meeting. As we entered each component he was able to tally an estimate on the spot, without us having to wait weeks like we did with the other contractors we interviewed. Because we could view the design plan and make changes, we knew when Kip left that he had given us an estimate based on the actual work we wanted done. One contractor walked around the basement, took very few notes and then 3.5 weeks later sent us an outrageously expensive estimate to rip everything out to the studs and start from scratch--which is not at all what we had discussed.
At the beginning of the work, Kip took us shopping to pick out all the flooring, cabinets, tub/shower, counters, backsplash, mirror, fixtures and lighting. He was able to give recommendations on what would work best and what would be available the quickest. As we went along, the crew was patient with change orders and would work until we were happy with the outcome.
I can't say enough good things about Danny and Chris (our main crew) and the rest of the crew members who would come over to help as needed. I was always comfortable having the guys in the house--both when I was home and when they were at the house alone. They were so respectful and trustworthy and very, very good at their jobs! We felt like they were friends by the time the work was done.
The one mishap that occured was the counter was 2-3 inches too short when it arrived. It was supposed to be the final day of work and we were anxious about how long it would take to get a replacement countertop. Kip was able to have the counter company cut a new slab early the next week and the crew was back to finish the project by the end of the week. They still finished right on schedule and would have been done ahead of schedule if not for the counter. The only additions to the budget were changes and upgrades that we made as they project progessed.
We love the finished project and will use the team again for future work.

    Munz Construction Inc
Sales man showed up, he was nice and seems to be knowledgeable, I quickly took note that windows is not really his specialty since he sales everything including toilet installation among other things, I hired these people because they were cheaper than anyone else?.BIG MISTAKE
My patio doors and window took long time to arrive, on delivery date it was down pouring so bad and two guys showed up to unload and apparently they wanted to do the installation that same day. I said NO. Then we scheduled an installation date and a crew of 4 showed up, one crew chief and the others are just regular workers who cut wood and haul tools and do what the boss tell them to do (they littered my back yard with cig butts). I specifically asked the crew leader to install an aluminum flashing above the patio doors to prevent rain water and he refused saying I do not need them and a caulking would be sufficient, 5 months later and yesterday down pouring rain I saw one patio door leaking like a sieve and the other one had an inch of standing water in the bottom channel.
I called the company yesterday and they did not seem to care that much, apparently they do not keep a record of the jobs they do, I had to give my name, address, phone and date of installation, at the end of the call secretary said she will forward to a repair man who will call me, he did not call at all and again this morning still my Patio door leaking I called and spoke to same person and again I had to give all the information to her so she can give it to their repair man, she said she does not know when he will call me or come to my house since he is very busy. This company does not stand behind their work, they provide no warranty against bad workmanship, and their attention to construction detail is nonexistence. they never bothered to read the installation instruction that came with the doors or followed the manufacture's suggested installation steps. they have no customer service.  My advice not to call them or even consider them do any kind of work in your house

I selected McHales Inc. to do a complete remodeling of two bathrooms and a powder room. The results are wonderful and I would give McHales the highest recommendation to anyone looking for a contractor to do remodeling work.
The project begins with Doug who does the design and estimating. Doug came to my home to see the bathrooms and took pictures and measurements. I met several times with Doug at their Showroom location to select all the materials, equipment and color combinations. The available choices seemed to be endless with much of the equipment on display in the Showroom so you can see exactly what you are getting. Doug was very helpful suggesting various color combinations and the results are wonderful. Doug prepares a detailed written estimate complete with computer-generated pictures of the new rooms and a work time schedule. The pictures are in color, detailed and accurate, and the work schedule turned out to be absolutely accurate to the day. A wonderful start to the job.
McHales keeps you fully informed as to what and when things will happen. Work started on schedule. Larry was the Project Manager and along with Pete did all the work except Bob and Marty ? plumbing, Ed and Ron ? electrical, and Dan ? painting. The work begins with Larry putting down a heavy cover over all the rugs in and to the work areas. The demolition of the bathrooms is done very carefully with all the scrap loaded immediately into a scrap dumpster/trailer. All work areas are left clean and orderly at the end of each day. Larry tells you each morning what is planned to be done that day and before leaving at the end of the day tells you when he will be back the next morning. As the installation work proceeds, Larry tells you whenever there is a choice for a particular arrangement and/or location and you get to make the decision. When you have a question, suggestion, or request, Larry is extremely cooperative and makes sure that you are completely satisfied. Working with Larry was a wonderful experience.
The project was completed on schedule and on budget. All the workmanship, equipment and materials are absolutely first class and the new bathrooms are spectacular.
