    Qualitech Heating and Cooling
    Our central A/C system wasn't performing or cooling properly. Al checked the system and found that my almost 50 year old system was diagnosed to have low refrigerant...after just having 2 lbs. added last October. Cost per pound of refrigerant was very high compared to other times I have had the same service performed by another company. Al checked with the owner and we agreed to a more reasonable cost but with no warranty since my system apparently has a slow leak and, being an old system, I didn't want to pay a lot of money to have a leak-check done. I just had them add refrigerant to hopefully get us through the remaining summer season. If we run into problems next season, we'll check into getting the system replaced since we've been needing to add refrigerant every year or two lately. Al, the technician, was very courteous, polite and even put cover-ups on his shoes when entering the house. He checked the air temperature exiting the ducts several times after adding refrigerant and completed the job in under an hour. Very satisfied so far.

    Dowd Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning
    The problem was diagnosed immediately and corrected with a replacement part. Since that part was suspected as problematic, a new one was brought to the visit. The furnace shut off late on one of the first cold nights of the season, on a Saturday evening. Dowd was quick to respond on Sunday morning, cordially and professionally. I was charged a premium for weekend service but they were the first to respond to this heating emergency. From my experience, I would definitely recommend Dowd. The issue for me was to get my heat working as soon as possible and Dowd was able to do that.

    It went great. They were there when they said they would be and completed the installation and cleaned up after leaving no debris unlike others that have worked on our home. I usually deal with Curt, the owner, but have also dealt with his assistants. the office is also responsive. I thought enough of them to recommend them to my daughter.

    It didn't go well. They advertised that they put the booties on. They did it going from my door to the basement, but didn't do it going across my basement or to the bathroom. They tracked stuff in. I told them not to put the new air conditioner on the slab that the old air conditioner was on, because it was crooked and they did it anyways. They put stones around the bottom of it when they done and threw the bags in my bushes. They needed a shovel to spread it out, I had one in a flower pot. It was frozen in it, so when they pulled it out they broke the flower pot. They left pieces of copper laying outside. They gave me a website to write a review, so I did a review and no one has called me. Even though they were cheaper, it was still expensive. They did a good job installing the system, they just made a mess. They always come on time.

    We had a heater installed about a year ago, and needed to have someone come for an annual cleaning and inspection.  Sila has performed work for us before and I have always been happy with their service.  Communication was good and the technician arrived on time and was very thorough.  I wouldn't hesitate to use Sila again.   Thank you.

    Excellent experience. Very professional, polite and respectful. We've used many contractors in our home in the past  and the team at Sila was a cut above the rest. They exceeded our expectations in every respect during the entire process. Their quality of work, attention to detail and ethic is a 5 out of 5.     The service was performed promptly with no surprises.�� I would like to use this review to share that we used BQ for other water remediation work in our basement and have been absolutely thrilled with the result.�� Over the last few years they have done the following:�� installed 2 sump pump units with battery backup; sealed cracks in the basement walls; installed 2 new window wells with drains; installed trench drains along the French drain; and installed the large dehumidifier.�� BQ is not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.�� Professional technicians, quality products and workmanship, excellent post installation service, and, most important, no water in the basement!�� I highly recommend BQ Basement Systems.

    They were great. They were the first ones here. The salesman was very knowledgeable. He really educated me on the whole process of what I was getting into and things I didn’t know. He told me pretty much how they sized up the situation. He told me what to watch out with other salespeople. He was very informative, and I appreciated it. He spent about a full hour at least or maybe longer with me. I had good feelings for them. We just decided not to upgrade our air conditioner at that time; that's what we were considering doing. With regard to price, they were the lowest. The reason was they offered a brand that was kind of an off brand but it was made by a more pricey brand. They talked about that. They said that they were going to offer us this name brand. They backed up their recommendation with information which showed that that name brand was equal to the pricier model. Basically, they were producing the same models but putting different plates on a lot of the units. So that's how they were providing savings. They were the lowest bid we got. I don’t know that they have all the superior support systems. We can pay up and get guys that will come on Christmas Eve and fix our air conditioner. They have maintenance plans to go with them. OMNI didn’t seem to be offering those. I don’t know that I would want one. They didn’t have the most exotic air conditioners to offer. But I thought it was a really decent offer. It was probably 90% of what I wanted. If I was to pull the trigger, I might go with them. The bid was around $4300 for the job. We had other bids all the way up to $8000. Some of these other companies were overbidding what we wanted. Most of the bids were in the $4000-$6000 range. I think OMNI was about the lowest. It was $4300 with tax and everything. I do think that there were some advantages to some of the other pricier brands. The quality was better but we have to pay for it. The OMNI product didn’t have a lot of the bells and whistles. If I wanted those, I would probably go with another brand.  The guy called me within twenty minutes or half an hour, and he was here that afternoon. He was a really nice guy and a really good salesman. He walked me through everything. He actually went on my computer and showed me how to look up stuff. It was just a real education. He was a really good guy. He was on time; I was very impressed with that. Other guys maybe wait like a week. He wasn’t; he was there that afternoon. I had to apologize. I had to tell him that we wanted to get some more bids before we make a decision, and we did. Our final decision was its not broke, let's not fix it yet. That's where we are. The guy was very professional. I would absolutely consider using them in the future.
