    dream bath of pa
It did not go well. The shower walls were not put in straight. The plumbing fixtures were not put in straight. The shower head leaked as it should not have when the water faucet was turned on. They removed the copper piping and replaced it with Pex Piping and shark bites were used. The plaster and sheet rock that was placed around the shower was not done properly and the certain areas were crocked. They never put a liner underneath of the bath tubs and now it is too late to have that done. When I spoke to the one owner of the business he did not want to listen and argued with me. I am posting this review because all of the work that they did is now being fixed by another plumber and another contractor. They did not think that anything that was pointed out to them was wrong and never fixed any of it. I don't like posting negative post about any business but this has been going on for months and costing me more money. I am disgusted by this whole thing. 1

Good Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning Inc
I've had Good out for several jobs over the past few years. Most recently for an emergency water heater replacement. My water heater sprung a significant leak, called Good in the morning and had a brand new water heater installed by 4:00 PM. Best of all, not planning for a $1500+ water heater replacement, I didn't have the free cash to pay for the work all at once. Good's AR department was completely understanding and worked out a very reasonable payment schedule. The latest was a water softener install. I put this job out to bid with 3 plumbers. Good came out with the mid price quote, but the most competitive quote was only $50 cheaper. The plumbing manager came out to view the area where the work was to be completed and discussed my options openly and clearly. Being familiar with the top quality work I've come to expect from Good, I gave them my business once again.

    Jaws Plumbing LLC
Jeff arrived exactly when he said and gave advance notice, was professional, clear in explaining the job, quick, and left the bathroom the way it was when he arrived. Would recommend highly. Completely happy with the experience. I plan on having him do additional work.

    EPA Water Consultants
Mary Beth was very nice to work with, and explained the whole water softening system very well. She tested our water on her first visit, which was very educational, and provided good information, which helped in making out decision. It was a long installation, but it went very well. Jeremiah was efficient, and friendly, and the area was spotless when he left.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
Schedualed for them to come out and was told they would be here by 6:30 pm. At 5:30pm they called and said they were running behind. It's now 10:15pm. No phone call no show. Called to find out what was going on and they rescheduled for tomorrow, weather permitting. That will make day 3 that I cannot use my toilet or water. I explained this 3 times and they brushed it off as no big deal.

    All Seasons Comfort Control LLC
We've had bad experiences with contractors in the past but were very pleasantly surprised with All Seasons Comfort Control! We've used All Seasons now for a few repairs, and finally a replacement. Each experience was positive. The various teams have always been professional and knowledgeable. Will continue to use them going forward!

    Horizon Services
I called Horizon Services to schedule an estimate on replacing my overflow tank and moving some black iron pipes.

After 10 minutes on the phone with the representative explaining my request, she informed me that it would cost $79 dollars for nothing more than someone showing up to give me an estimate.

I immediately told the representative that I was stopping my request right there, stating "I don't pay for estimates." Unfazed, she began a canned tangent on the value of charging me for an estimate, which was entirely bull. I repeated. "I don't pay for estimates." and ended the call.

Charging money for estimates is, in my strong opinion, a completely unethical practice. When you run a business (as I do), providing estimates is part of your company's risk. Further, your travel, clerical, and ancillary expenses are tax deductible. This makes me wonder whether companies like this actually profit more on estimate fees that are worthless to the customer than actual service.

    Montco Rooter Plumbing & Drains
Slight mix up with timing, but no big deal. Once we both were here, they did a great job, communicating what they were doing and were very pleasant. Worked really hard to get old tank up and out of basement.

    Steinberg Plumbing LLC
I thought his price was more than fair, he was very nice and personable, and he did quality work.  He was late for the appointment time, but I understand those things happen as you can't predict how long a service call might take if you have complications, and he did answer the phone when I called to find out when he would be here.  He knew exactly what the problem was when I told him my water smelled like sulphur suddenly, and when I told him I didn't know which hot water heater it was causing it, he did not take advantage of the situation, which he easily could have.  I will use him again in the future.
