    Despite being told precisely what the repair need was, which included refrigerator model and serial number, the repair person came to the house without the part. This first visit was supposedly to determine what the repair need was. As mentioned, this was unnecessary!! One week later the service rep came again, spent approximately 5 min. replacing gasket, 5 min. documenting and left. The charge for the 5 min. job was $212.58. Outrageous! Far more then hourly prices charged for more sophisticated equipment repairs. Recommend seeking repair help from someone else!

    BJ's Appliance Repair
    I contacted BJs as my normal repair guy was away for the holiday weekend. I would neither recommend nor reuse this company. Here's why... - He was scheduled to arrive between 3-5 pm. He called at exactly 5pm to tell me he was leaving his previous job and it would take him 30 minutes to arrive. This is neither professional nor acceptable. - I have 2 very large protective dogs who are fine with people when properly introduced. One barked upon his entry and rather than wait for guidance on how to greet the dog he shoved his hand in his face by way of introducing himself. Again, not acceptable, let alone smart. - While he did adequately diagnose the problem, he did not have the necessary part. He then said the estimate would be at least $330 dollars for the full repair. The replacement part costs $60-70 and I was not in agreement that $330 was a reasonable charge for this repair. He was dismissed and we waited for our regular repair guy to return who then resolved the problem for less than half of BJs cost.

    Mr. Perry returned my phone call the same day I called and asked if I wanted him to come that evening (has never happened before with other contractors). We scheduled for the next day and he arrived earlier then expected! Mr. Perry was very professional and he was totally honest about the repair and that it would cost more to repair a 12 yr old machine then purchasing a new one. He was not able to vacuum the dryer vent leading to the outside but, he totally took apart the dryer/drum and vacuumed the inside/outside. He answered all my questions about his recommendations on which washer manufacturer was best to purchase and also, recommended a local appliance store to look for a new machine. He even recommended a local laundry facility to use that was clean and had working machines while I was making my decision and purchasing a new machine.

    Contractor met with us at length to discuss the scope of the project.  Sent copy of printed scope and worked from that document.  Very clearly spelled out.  Contractor was available by phone and email and promptly returned communication.  Workers were very professional and also worked off of the scope of work.  We were asked repeatedly if we were happy with the results of the work at various stages.  If we expressed any concern, the issue was discussed and corrected.  Contractor worked with propane supplier to manage needs for fireplace install.    At completion everything looked great.

    Bruce was quick to respond to service call, quickly assessed that our side-by-side needed a new damper unit to control the temp in the fridge.  Ordered the part and was able to return to install, working around our schedule.  He was quick and the work was solid.  Price was in expected range.  I would easily use and recommend Bruce for future appliance work.

He explained the reason for the issue and the dryer was fixed in under an hour. I would not hesitate calling on him to return to help us with any appliance.

    Joe Chicachop did work for me last year in my rental property where I realized months later he managed to completely tie up all the electric so some tenants were paying for others electric. I ended up having a power surge because of his mistake. In August 2013, I gave Joe a check for over $2600 to fix his mistakes that he was responsible for the year before. He never sent anyone to my house after I gave him the check. I have continuously attempted to contact him to give my money back and he makes promises after promises he will pay me. He said he's going bankrupt and won't be able to pay. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT EVER EVER TRUST THIS MAN! He does horrible work and can't be trusted and still hasn't paid me back. He needs to be reported to BBB and shut down because he is stealing money from his customers. Your ignorant should you use him. He will STEAL from you.

    He was excellent. When we talked to him on the phone, he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. He came out the next day and took care of the problem. He looked at the stove where one of the burners were not working, ordered a part, and came back about a week later and fixed it.

    Perry quickly responded to our voice mail regarding our broken ice maker. He was on time, friendly and went into detail about the repairs he would do, and why the ice maker broke in the first place. He was very professional and I would definitely recommend him.
