The job was completed satisfactorily and on schedule. Bill Yenalevitch, Jr. handled payment arrangements over the telephone. Unfortunately, no invoice or receipt was provided.

    They were fine with doing the routine maintenance on my boiler. Just getting them there was the issue. They never seem to be on time. There were also incidences when they were supposed to call me when they were on their way so I could leave work and meet them at the house. That way, I would minimize my time away from the office. That didn't always happen. Or they were supposed to be at the house first thing in the morning, which I understood to be by 8 AM and wouldn't show up until after 9.
    However, they are friendly and professional when they are on the job.
    When I first contacted TE Spall a few years ago, they were more accommodating and sensitive to my schedule and needs. They were contacted to do repairs to my central AC. They claimed they fixed it after I spent hundreds of dollars. Each year, however, I had the same problem. All the refrigerant was gone from the system and system was blowing warm air. Each time, they claimed they fixed the problem. Each year, I spent money for repairs except 2013. 
    In 2013, they finally determined the real cause of the leak, but they did not charge me except for my annual maintenance contract of $200. It turns out, the condenser unit was bad. The unit was still under warranty. I did not use TE Spall to replace it as they wanted more than $1200 for labor. I contacted the original installer, who only charged $400.
    If there was a "maybe" button as far as using them in the future, I would select that. I am not sure if I would use them again because of their tardiness and my having to miss work waiting for them. But perhaps if I can't find anyone else, I would.

    Terrible. It was installed Sept. of 2012 that winter we called the company twice and complained that the unit wasn't heating the house. We were told we just had to get use to this type of heating system, he didn't even come out to check it. This winter we have had problems with the unit out side the house. They installed four new parts and discovered that when the system was originally installed it was only half hooked up, that's why it wasn't heating correctly. They have been here five times this winter and it still isn't running correctly. It is very loud and the unit it self is not very efficient as claimed. The repairman told us we would have been better off purchasing the less expensive unit because it was less complicated and would be easier to fix. Right now it is heating the house down stairs but never gets above 68 degrees up stairs even though the thermostat is set at 72. Also the line they ran out side to the unit is not the right size as specified in the installation manual, but they said when questioned about this that, that is how they do it. We have asked repeatedly to have a service representative from Amana to come and check out the installation but they just ignore our requests. We are guessing it's because of the size of the pipe they used to the outside. When we have called they have taken there good time getting back to us. We sincerely feel this unit is not working up to it's potential, it is not saving up money as promised. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    Fixed it the first time, then realized I needed to have a part replaced and had to come back again.  He was responded within 20 minutes of calling.  The part alone was about $350.  I live alone and I felt very comforable.

    First off, I have to say I really wanted to like these guys.  They were courteous on the phone and were all-around nice people.  However, things just didn't work out.
    I called M&M to come and take a look at my central air/forced air unit because it wasn't functioning.  The air wasn't cold and there was no air coming out of most of the vents.  They sent two guys out who looked around the house at the unit and the rooms.  They didn't really have an answer for us and said they had to call the owner in to get a better idea of what was going on.  They charged me $65 for a service call although they really didn't do anything.
    We made an appointment for a week or so later for Mike to come in and check the system out.  He showed up nearly one hour late (no phone call).  He said he decided to sleep in because he had been traveling the previous couple days and that his employee had to come and wake him up.  My wife and I were literally 5 minutes from leaving for the day because we were getting tired of waiting with no calls.
    When they showed up, Mike and Joe did another walk around the house looking at everything.  They found that the compressor was empty and that they saw one point where there was a leak. They found some issues with the duct work as well.  They were admittedly confused by the installation design of the system and once again said they had to bring someone else in for yet another opinion.
    We made the appointment for five days later during the morning ("around 11am").  I live 30 minutes from work, so I had to leave at 10:30am to get home for 11.  I waited until 11:35am, then called their office and left a voice mail stating I couldn't wait anymore and had to go back to work.  Driving back to work another 30 minutes, I will have lost 90 minutes of work time (and pay).
    I got a call when I was nearly back to work telling me they were stuck in traffic and should be there soon.  Now, when I have an appointment and am going to be late, I have the sense to call my customer and let them know so they're not waiting.  To me, "around 11am" means anywhere from 10:50 to 11:10.  Not 11:30.  Not 11:40.  Not 11:50, especially without any phone call letting me know they were stuck in traffic.  They let me sit and wait and eventually be forced to leave and go back to work so I wouldn't lose any more money.
    I can't understand how someone can conduct business like that.  At least have the courtesy to call me and tell me you're going to be 40 minutes late.
    In the end, this ordeal cost me nearly three weeks of time that I could have had someone else examining and hopefully fixing my system, $65 for a service call where no service was done (I thought they had free estimates?),  $45 from missed work, and 30 miles in gas to drive back and forth.  It's too bad because now I need to start over with a new company and go through all of this again.  It's going to start getting cold soon and we don't have any heat.
    I know M&M has a lot of excellent ratings and I think they probably deserve them.  However, my particular experience was not good and based on that, I would be hesitant to refer them to anyone.
