    Plymouth Nursery & Landscape Co
We gave a deposit at the end of June with a promise of starting at the end of August. In Sept we called to check on the start date. Because of a wet summer, all work was delayed. Our project finally started Oct 23rd and finished Nov 17th. Workmen were neat and did a professional job. The work included removing old concrete patio, old landscaping around the patio (including a tree), preparing the ground, and installing a new patio with walls, and new landscaping around the patio and adjacent to the house. Once the project got going, work was done weekdays except for rainy weather. We are very happy with the result.

    D'Antonio Landscape Contracting
NickD'Antonio was great! He was very professional and quick to return my call and complete the work. The did an excellent job! The only issue was after he left, the crew did not clean up after themselves and left their water bottles all over the and broke a potted plant. Still, would definitely call Nick for the next job.

    D&D Concrete Inc.
It went so very well - we could not have asked for better service or end result.  We are thrilled with our new extended patio and cannot wait to have them back in the spring to do additional work in our yard and maybe even our driveway.
They were prompt, professional, and paid a lot of attention to the little details that made the overall experience outstanding!
You cannot go wrong with Frank and D & D Concrete - He is a great guy who knows concrete and does excellent work, on time and within budget quoted.  This is my best Angie's list experience to date!  I would highly recommend D & D concrete.
Thanks Frank and crew - great work!

    Ewing & Son Construction

Stephen was very professional and offered all options available, including what is not necessary to spend money on. It was a one  day job and if you hadn't seen the team working, you would have never known they were there.  Everything was cleaned up and the chimney looked fantastic.  The job they performed was:

    ? remove any loose stucco/debris

    * install stucco a wire (wire, corner beed, stop need)

    ? apply masonry base coat

    ? scratch base coat

    ? apply stucco ( base coat )

    ? apply feather finish

    * all material included in price

My only less than perfect rating was for responsiveness.  I think it was an extremely busy time for them, and some of the responses were not within 24 hours. So follow up might be necessary, but certainly worth it.

Stephen was quick to reach out after my initial contact and scheduled the quote and work quickly. My wife paid him before I had reviewed the work. While he did much of the work requested, he did not do the hardest parts. He did not follow-up with me well nor did he respond to e-mail and calls after asking for completion or for additional documentation.
What was good: quick initial contact
What was bad: he didn't actually complete all the items requested and did not return e-mail or phone calls after he was paid. I requested a formal invoice since I needed it for a real estate transaction, but he did not return phone calls or e-mail. I even mentioned that simply receiving a formal invoice for the work would help me give a better review - since that was a significant need - but he ignored that e-mail.

    OTW Masonry
ixThe end result is fantastic.  More than that, Kevin answered every question I had at every point in the process, even if it was via email on a Sunday evening. Actually, more than simply answering my questions, he addressed my concerns by making changes where required.  He wasn't simply punctual, he did everything he said he would do and exactly when he said he would do it. The men he has working with him are also very good at what they do and cleaned up meticulously.  That's saying a lot in this case since the work to be done was very messy.  They arrived on time, worked hard and were entirely trustworthy..  Kevin is very personable, as well, and a pleasure to work with.

    Thomas Hennelly Plastering
Tom Hennelly called saying he was very busy.  He arranged to come on July 4 at 8am.  He arrived on time.  It was wonderful to have an artisan plasterer back after a period of grieving following the deaths of his father and son.  He did a beautiful job of repairing my 26 ft by 16 ft plaster ceiling in my 55 year old home.  He was cleaned up and gone in two hours.

    Ewing & Son Construction
The man from Ewing Construction made an appointment to view our back wall. When he got here, he was very professional. He said that the work required was more extensive than we had thought. He sent us an estimate for $1,600.00. We had not budgeted for this. We have in the past two years already put $15,000 into the house. When we informed Ewing of this, the contractor said he understood, and that we should notify Angie's List, to receive a refund. Hence, this notice. We will need to put some funds aside before we can tackle this project.

    A Champion Chimney & Masonry
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. So far it has been pretty good. They came out for the estimate and I have been pretty pleased. They were timely. I paid additional charges. They have been great on the phone and great on follow up and everything else. I would recommend them.

    STONE MASONRY
The work seemed fine but over the year, the concrete began to crumble and flake. We don't use any harsh chemicals in the winter. The lower flight of steps is decades old and has no crumbling or flaking. After repeated attempts to contact Stone with no response, we are now hiring another contractor to repair the steps.
