    Sarafinas Home Repair
Sarafinas (Brad and his brother Matt) were wonderful to work with and were very responsive to our needs. They did not get upset with project changes and worked around the floor refinishing contractor's and granite installer's schedule. They were good listeners to our needs and came up with options for us to consider before making the final decisions. Work was done on budget and within a reasonable time frame. Delays were due to the township permitting process. Their system for progress billing was clear and fair.

    Nolan Painting
They were very professional and easy to deal with as far as scheduling and payment.  The painters and carpenters that worked on my job were polite and did a beautiful job.  The job was estimated to take 3 days but the team finished everything in 2 days.  I was very happy with the results.

Jack of All Trades Inc & Chimney Sweep Services
The price on Angie's List was really a bargain and the customer service person at Jack of All Trades was super friendly and helpful.  Tyler called and said he was running ahead of schedule so he came early which was great.  He thoroughly inspected the chimney, told me some technical details - such as, having a liner made it easier to clean apparently and those liners last a lifetime, typically.  He gave the chimney a fast but thorough cleaning and I was delighted that he reported there was no need for any repair work or reconditioning, which was a concern.  Tyler was knowledgeable, efficient, totally professional and a really nice guy.  I will DEFINITELY call Jack of All Trades in the future whenever I need some repair work, carpentry, cleaning or other services done around the house.  They really are a Jack of All Trades!  THANKS.

West Chester Design & Build LLC
From the framers to the painters, these guys were incredibly good! Finishing my basement was the first, major home project my wife and I set out to do so naturally, I was skeptical of every company who provided me a quote. After visiting w/ four different people, I was particularly impressed with Chris Payson of West Chester Design Build. I appreciated his professionalism, his vision for my space, his follow-up and his fair, detailed quote. (of note: There were no surprise expenses along the way.)
After selecting WCDB, I was equally impressed to see how much cooperation their was between Chris's employees. The plumber, framer, drywall installers, electrician and designer all worked well as a team. There was productive communication between all of them throughout the project. I work from home so I saw it every day firsthand! I popped in on the project often (about twice/day) and I also noticed that these guys never cut corners! On the contrary, I'd see them do extra. I recall the plumber pointing out and fixing an existing plumbing issue that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. That kind of extra effort and attention to detail gave me added confidence that these guys wouldn't disappoint.
Their designer, Kimberly, was also involved throughout the process. She came up with a great design for my space. I needed some "hand holding" throughout the project to pick out colors, patterns, carpet, tile etc and she was always accessible. In short...she was great.
Lastly, don't worry about privacy. Everyone was considerate of me and my family and kept all the work flow through the bilcow doors. These guys also bring their own portable toilet and position it discreetly behind their construction dumpster so I never even had to share my bathroom. They were very clean too! My favorite part of the day was checking progress in the evening. I had no problems taking my 4 year old downstairs every night because the area was always left swept, cleaned and organized...every night.
My basement is now a transformed, 1000 square ft living area with a wet bar and play room. I highly recommend West Chester Design Build!

    Stairworks Inc
This company is terrific. We could not have asked for a better contractor. Stairworks Inc. has a very reliable, fast and cost-efficient procedure for installing staircases. We saw pics of several of their projects and they were beautiful - from simple designs to really intricate/different ones. We thought our project would be one of the simple ones but I picked a wood (birch) that is apparently very, very difficult to stain correctly. The first set of treads just didn't match the flooring. Stairworks went way beyond the call of duty to get us a stain that did match. They were very patient both with finding a way to apply the stain and working with our schedule. They even hired a cabinet maker to get the right finish. The stairs are beautiful! The color is gorgeous, the craftsmanship is perfection and they even did an incredible job patching the small dry wall scrapes. The sales staff, office help and installation crew (THANK YOU MIKE) were professional, responsive, and just plain nice. I would definitely hire them again.

West Chester Design & Build LLC
I contacted West Chester Design/Build to find out if they would be willing to provide me with a quote to just simply frame out my basement.  I met with Chris at my home a few days later and went over with him the layout i was looking for.  Chris was more than willing to help me out with getting this project completed and his quote was very reasonable so I hired him.  His framing crew had my basement framed in 2 days!  Outstanding work!  Would definitely use West Chester Design/Build if I had other projects that needed completing.

    Expert Handyman & Remodeling
We hired house doctors over the phone sight unseen in a pinch after our original contractor who we had hired to remodel our kitchen disappeared. We were under the gun since we had a tenant moving in on the 1st of the month. House doctors knew were were desperate and did not take advantage of us with their pricing and completed the job ahead of time and on budget. Since we live in the phila area and having an investment property so far away, we were completely vulnerable to unscrupulous contractors. We felt very comfortable with house doctors and their customer service team from the first call. We did get one other quote from another "one man band" contractor, he was a little cheaper, but we already went down that road before ! It really pays to go with such a professional company instead of the cheapest. Every thing they said they were going to do they did. The quality of the work was superior. Attention to detail, spot on!

    Handyman Connection - West Chester
The team of two from Handyman Connection showed up on time, did the job exactly as I described I wanted it done, and did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves. They did not smoke and leave a pile of cigarrette butts laying around, which is my pet peave. Overall, i was happy with the price and quality of service and would recommend.
