    Express Concrete
Don was EXCELLENT to work with from day one. He was responsive and promised an estimate in the spring, because of being booked the previous fall. He came out two days after our initial conversation and got back to me a few hours later with the price. It was the best of all quotes received. We booked the work for a month later, sent the deposit, and waited for our new project to begin. Don communicated with us a week before the start date, and was here on time both days. The work area was left spotless and he followed up with pictures to make sure that we were more than satisfied. I would highly recommend him and would use him again for another project. We had a wonderful experience with Express Concrete.

It went well. Andy is responsible and honest. Those men working with him are the same. High quality work was done and when I had questions, they were answered in a way to help me make decisions. I would recommend Andy and his crew.

Cornwell Door recently installed a 16 foot garage door. The installer was professional and prompt. He removed the old door and installed the new door in about 4 hours. I was not at home when the door installation was completed. I will not use Cornwell doors again for the following reasons. First of all the door does not fit correctly. The weather stripping on the sides of the door is not on the flat part of the door. The weather stripping is actually into the decorative part of the door. This means that the weather seal is not good and during rain storms water leaks through the day. I cannot wait until winter to see how much snow gets into my garage. I have called the company several times to get this looked at. They have made appointments to come and look at my concerns. No one has brother to come out to my home yet. I will need to get another Garage door replaced and it will not be from them.

The installer did a very good job installing the door. The old door was removed and the new one was installed within four hours. However the door does not fit right. I believe that it is how the door is designed. The sides of the new door flat spots are very narrow as compared to the old removed door. This means that the side weather stripping does not seat correctly on the flat sides of the door. This also means that the installer had to push the weather stripping up against the sides of the door very close to try and get it to seal properly. On the last big rain the water got into the garage through the weather stripping. I was not at home when the job was completed otherwise I would have pointed this out. What has made me more frustrated with this company is that I have contacted them several times and they said that they are coming out to look at it and never show up. I need to get the other door replaced. I will not be using them again

Our screened-in porch that Andy & his team built is stunning. I mean, seriously stunning. We get so many compliments on it from people that come to our house - even my mother-in-law! ;0) The quality of work was exceptional and I really enjoyed working with Andy and Omar. They were always punctual (it became a running joke between my husband and me) and they even got the job done even a couple days ahead of schedule (took about a month in total).

We found Andy through Angie's List (thanks previous reviewers for your help!). We had him, as well as a couple other contractors, come out and give us a bid on work that we ended up not doing. Andy was the clear and obvious choice if we had done that body of work, so we called him back when we were ready to do the porch. It took a few months between his schedule at that time and the permit process, but he was able to help us get the project done before my son's first birthday party that we were holding at our home.

There are many things that I really like about working with Andy: he really loves what he does and loves more interesting projects (if you can dream it, he can build it!), he is a perfectionist when it comes to how things come out - balancing both looks and functionality, he is flexible (I changed my mind a few times here and there and we were able to work in new designs as we went along), he thinks through the projects and all the steps along the way to keep the project moving, and he is easy to get along with.

Here are some specific examples of how custom my project was to make a "fun" experience. Things like he:

    - found a piece of reclaimed old barn wood for my fireplace mantel

    - helped me track down specific stone veneer colors for my fireplace. I was able to customize it with a color specialist to get the exact color I was looking for to tie in my tile flooring, wood-stained vaulted ceiling, and porch furniture

    - brought different options for trim so I could pick out what I wanted

    - was patient with me on which wood stain I wanted to place on the vaulted planked ceiling

    - he listened to me when I said maintenance free trim work (he did all azek and floor to ceiling screens for me - it looks great and cleans down nicely)

-concealed the cable wire from the side of the house to my fireplace mantel. They spent a bit of time working the cable cord UNDER the siding so it was completely concealed rather than just running it along my siding and even built it into the vaulted ceiling design since I wanted no wires present (it's a pet peeve of mine!)

I find him to be a bit pricier, but his bid never changed (unless I added stuff in after the fact - my fault!), and he stands by his work. There was a small gap under the door sweep that I noticed about a month after the project ended. I mentioned it to him, so Andy came back out, ordered a longer door sweep to ensure it completely touched the bottom, and installed it for me.

I had a particular design in mind (thanks to Pinterest!) on how I wanted our porch to look. If I could not explain what I wanted, I would find pictures and then he could translate what kinds of materials we needed. He has great contacts for the best materials in central PA.

Additionally, he managed this entire project for us. Between the permit filing process, timing the electrician, the folks that added gutters onto our new structure, the fireplace guy, delivery of the stone for our fireplace, multiple city was so nice to not to have to worry. I think his general motto is that you can be as involved or not as involved as you would like.

My husband and I enjoyed him working on our house so much that we have contracted additional work with him and he is our 'go to' contractor. If you are looking for an honest, quality guy for a peace of mind experience, Andy is your guy!

Provider gave us an estimate and a ballpark time of when he could fit the job in. He contacted me and set the date within that timeframe. He arrived on time and the ramp looks great. Finally able to put our riding lawnmower in the shed!

    Rowe Squared Construction
Bought a new home in campbelltown, and realized quickly that the existing garage wasn't large enough for our three vehicles. Although it was listed as a two car garage, only one would fit. Called Shawn, got estimate,(and he stuck to it!)and he did all the work to secure necessary permits. Our property has extreme hills and mandated setbacks, so a lot of time and planning went into this new construction. He started in December, and we were parking our cars in the new structure by early February. He perfectly matched the existing siding and shingles and completed all landscaping as soon as he was able to move the dirt. Top notch five star profession in every aspect.

Easy Siders Home Improvement Co Inc
Even our neighbors were impressed with the new siding installed by Easy Siders Home Improvement Co.  We could not be more pleased with the way that Bill, our siding installer, took pride in doing the job right.  His many years of experience and attention to detail were evident as he carefully fitted siding around the many angles and corners of our large split level home.  All installers cleaned up the debris at the end of each work day.  With the new roof and gutter replacement, also installed by Easy Siders, our house looks brand new.  From start to finish working with Rick on estimates for the job, Cindy in the office on scheduling, and all the installers, it was an absolute no hassle experience.  We interviewed 6 contractors and chose Easy Siders on the basis of price, timeliness in scheduling, and the knowledge and expertise of the salesperson.  My wife and I both highly recommend them.  Five stars!!!

Didn't go well.  He gave us estimate for filling in a few cracks in the grout and removing mildew on cinder blocks on part of north wall.  We had to pay for special disposable suits and masks for two workers because he said the dust was dangerous.  They didn't use any special suits, only the regular paper masks that you can buy at Lowe's.
When they did the job they started to do more than contracted and we stopped the job after they did what was originally agreed upon.  We contracted for a yard to a yard and a half of concrete for a tower base and when he dug the hole he said it got larger than he thought  so we ended with three and a half yards of concrete to pay. When using the skid loader, he did minor damage to the grass.  While here, he kept trying to talk us into more repairs.  The drain line to catch run-off (we found later) was not necessary to keep rainwater from entering the basement at corner of house. We found that using an extension on the downspout took care of the problem.  These are just the highlights.
We  were new to town and after hearing about him from others, we realized that we made a mistake in hiring him.  We try and give people a chance but in his case, his local reputation isn't good and probably 75% of it is true.
The date of the proposal was May 15 2007, I am not sure of the actual work dates as that info is in storage.

    Deimler Family Construction
Arrival was as scheduled.  Completion of the job on second day was delayed due to threat of rain.  Job completed on third day and looks excellent.  They were very neat - no spatters or dropped paint.
