    Please keep reading if you or a loved one suffers from Epilepsy. Dr. Mark Saracino is highly skilled and intellectual chiropractic neurologist. He thoroughly understood what corrections and treatments I would need to help all sorts of conditions w/ my body, ranging from my elbow and shoulder all the way to my neck and brain. I personally suffer from partial complex seizures (epilepsy) and the side effects have a strong tendency to linger with me for long periods of time. No BS, pardon my French, when I say that Dr. Mark Saracino is the first and only professional to provide me with positive relief and substantial benefits to my epilepsy condition. I have tried the conventional way and tried prescriptions, as well other holistic ways such as Acupuncture, although Dr. Saracino was the only one who could make an impact. I began to see clearer, able to concentrate better, much more energy, slept better and deeper, as well began to feel more like myself again- happy and positive no matter how a seizure may make me feel. I salute Dr. Saracino for care and personable vibe, for he doesn���t only find the solution to your problem but truly cares about your health and helping you get back to yourself again.     Doctor (O'Connor) was not present at pre-op appointment. Pre-op laxatives were too weak and doctor's directions advised me to take laxatives too late. At the time of colonoscopy my system was not empty, and I was told that the procedure would have to be repeated at another time. "Doctor" O'Connor was abusive and sent me home with active diarrhea. The insurance company paid him, of course, and I had to repeat the whole ordeal. I'll die before he works on me again.

    Unfortunately it seems this practice has grown too large and their customer service has gone down hill or maybe it was just Dr Alan Berger - Several years ago I had a surgery performed at this practice everything was wonderful - I returned for a ear issue - After waiting in 40 minutes past my scheduled time I was finally seen - Dr Berger blew through the room wouldn't look me in the face or take the time to listen to my issues and symptoms - He was more concerned about pencil whipping his paperwork and insulting my family practitioner so he could collect his fees and move onto the next patient who at this point was probably an hour behind their scheduled visit - While upset with my first visit I reluctantly scheduled the required follow up.  4 weeks later it seems Dr Berger's customer service skills took another turn for the worse - Now after waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes past my scheduled visit, paying an additional $50 copay for the required follow up, Dr Berger graciously blessed me with 45 seconds of his time - He refused to let me speak, look me in the eyes or listen to a single thing I had to say when describing my symptoms since we last met ( isn't t that the point of a follow up) - Again pencil whip some papers, collect your money and move on.  The tipping point for me was when Dr Berger insulated me by laughing over me while I was trying to describe my conditions.  I walked out and will never return to Berger Henry ENT.  The staff was amazing and I am sure the other doctors in the practice may be excellent but my recommendation is only visit this practice if you have an extra hour of waiting time to waste as Dr Bergers time seems to be more important than any of the 10 peoples time I was sitting with in the waiting room.  I would also request a disclaimer to never see Dr Berger and I use the term Dr lightly.  Dr Berger you should be ashamed of your customer service and reconsider how you treat patients after you step down from your pedestal and realize your patients are what keep you in business.

    BOTCHED COLONOSCOPY 081516 TO ANGIE?S LIST SYNOPSIS: Dr. O?Connor attempted a colonoscopy on me 8/15/2016. When I woke up after the procedure I was told that it was basically all for naught, that my colon still had too much fecal material for him to see anything good or bad, the procedure would have to be repeated another day. HISTORY: Prior to the colonoscopy, I made and kept an initial evaluation appointment with his office, saw his physician?s assistant, and was given a ?one-size-fits-all? instruction sheet on how to prepare. Dr O?Connor was not present. I was there for the appointment, why wasn?t he? PROBLEM: The prescribed laxatives took longer to work than his instructions allowed for. This is an excerpt from the laxative manufacturer?s web site: DULCOLAX: Generally produces a bowel movement in 6-12 hours. (I took 4 tablets at 3pm as instructed. ) MIRALAX: Generally produces a bowel movement in 1-3 days. Many get relief in 1 day. (I drank this from 5-7 pm as instructed.) Given this information, why would he prescribe these, given the time frame and the degree of emptiness that?s required for a colonoscopy which was scheduled for 8am the next day? Even Monday (8/15/2016) afternoon, after coming home, close to 24 hrs after taking the first laxative, I STILL had the runs! As of the day of the procedure, he had not even introduced himself to me. I saw his name tag when he approached me after the procedure and before anesthesia completely wore off. When I complained about all this, and threatened a written complaint, he literally said: ?Write any f?-kin? thing you want, but get out of that bed.??.Dr O?Connor THE COSTS: I pay for his mistake. I burned 2 vacation days and a Sunday for this: the initial appointment, the preparation time, and the procedure day. I have to repeat the whole colonoscopy procedure, and all that goes with it, and there was the problem of being released from a hospital, with active diarrhea, that could strike without warning, like, in a hospital lobby or my in friend?s car. I will never again refer to this man as "doctor". This is schoolyard bully behavior. I don?t buy a pair of shoes from someone who shows this lack of integrity.

    Very poorly. Dirty paper towels on the floor. Dirty floors. The doctor derided me for coming to the emergency room and told me that I was wasting his time. I waited for more than two hours while staff criticized other patients behind their backs in ear-shot and talked about how slow they were. In the end, I received no treatment, just extremely unprofessional and behavior that would be considered beyond rude in any profession. I would not take a loved one to this facility expecting competent or quality healthcare provisions.

    There were a couple of things I wish I knew in advanced. Three toes were operated on...the hammertoe and the one to either side. Each toe had a pin through the centerline. The pin I assume was supposed to re-align the toe bones. One pin appeared to have missed a joint it was supposed to engage. The result is a joint that sticks out to the left on that toe. That toe looks like it is out of joint. The hammertoe itself has issues. If I walk on a thick carpet the toe catches on the rug and bends backward. The solution? Always wear a sock on that foot. There are other issues like the painful stair climbing. That pain is supposed to fade away. It has been about a year and it has not faded away.

    I've been going to him for years and I've known him since when he's in college which is a very long time. He's wonderful, receptive and I can get an appointment there within 36 hours. The office is clean and not fancy. It's an old neighborhood converted into an office. They've been making forward progress with remodeling their office area.

    I did not realize that I needed to have my referral sent electronically, and the staff took care of that for me on the day of the appointment. I was very nervous, and everyone was very supportive. I would absolutely use this facility again. The only problem that I had was billing. I check with my insurance company and saw that I would have $0 copay for the procedure. I was billed $100 and it took a few phone calls before this was resolved.

    Its now about 4 months after the treatment and everything is excellent. I have zero pain in my foot and can walk as far as I want without any pain! I had another pain (in my hip area) that is also gone now. I suspect that wearing the inserts all the time has helped this also.
