    12/22/17 - I feel like we will never get what is owed to us. These people are criminals, stealing from us. And I believe the founder of the company is an attorney and should really be law-abiding, right? Horrible! ---------- 11/26/17 - They are still ignoring the court order. --------- 10/20/17 - They are still ignoring the court order. --------- 9/13/17 - We put a lien on their property. We filed the paperwork at Montgomery County courthouse. They are still ignoring the court order. ------- 7/27/17 - They are ignoring the court order and won't pay us what they owe us. -------- They weren't recycling the whole time (6 months) we were using their trash and recycling services. They had one truck and were dumping the trash and recycling into the same truck at the same time. There were also many weeks when they never picked up anything. We got tired of their excuses and lies and cancelled services. They told us we could have a refund of our remaining 6 months but didn't pay us. We took them to small claims court and won (they admitted guilt by not responding)! Now they owe us the refund plus court costs. Unfortunately, this process takes a long time and they are not responsive or cooperative. We even went to their "office" on two occasions to try to collect our refund (before we sued them). It is a dump and no one was even there the second time. We walked right in and no one ever showed up. Shameful operation.

    Thw service has been very good. Moving into a new home generates lots of recycling card board and trash. JP Mascara has collected all of it every week with no issues. The price per quarter is reasonable to me.

    pick up was fine but I paid through the website and there was a glitch. They collected over $1200.00 which put my account overdrawn. It took them two weeks to react and finally refund the money by check. They did not contact me even though they knew that the glitch occurred and they overdrew the payment.

    Terrible. This was our trash hauler for 23 years starting when it was BFI and even someone before that. No issues till it became Republic. We had signed a contract for approximately $99/quarter for three years. Over time, our bill crept up and up and up, and they also stopped picking up one weekly bulk item for free and cut some other services. When it hit $200/quarter, I suddenly remembered we were supposed to have a locked-in rate. I pulled out the contract and called them about it. I spoke to the manager of the King of Prussia facility and he said yes, we were in fact overcharged and due a refund of $500+. But he said it had to go through corporate and we wouldn't get it for a couple of months. I thought that was a bit odd, but whatever. When the time came and no check arrived, I called back. Suddenly our $500 refund was down to a $34 refund!! Why? Because all those extra charges were "fees" not covered on the contract and so we "weren't overcharged." They said it was a poorly written contract. I said that wasn't my problem. They still refused to honor the $500 and offered to let us out of the contract at the end of the next quarter. The manager said point-blank that it wasn't worth their profit to keep our business even though we'd been customers for 23 years. That did it. I took to Twitter and Facebook and blasted them repeatedly over the hidden fees, and the national corporate office saw it and responded. Ultimately the local office did let us out of our contract then and there, and we canceled the service and went with Waste Management. So far we're happy with them--very reasonably priced, they pick up the trash, and in fact they accept far more plastic recycle numbers than Republic did.

    Terribly. Keslar said the refund would come around late September or early October. When it didn't come by October 15, I called back and was told these things take 60 days. (Imagine if we didn't pay our bill for 60 days!). He called us two days ago and said he "went over it together with his financial manager who has to get involved in such big refunds," and the "contract was written poorly" and includes unnamed "fees." Thus we are only getting back a $34 refund--total, not per month. At the very least, we are owed $363 for being overcharged on a $134/month contract. If you add in the interest for the period that we would have been charged had we not paid our bills in a timely manner, that total goes up to $493.

    I cannot recall a worse customer service experience!! We had called to request a few pieces of furniture to be picked up. The rep said no problem. Monday came and we only had one oversized chair left. The others were taken by Impact. The truck came and took our trash but not the chair. I called to find out why they didn't pick it up..."so sorry...we'll pick it up on Thurs." Thurs comes and once again they didn't take it. I called again and was told that things happen beyond their control and that they will pick it up next time. I asked them to guarantee that it will be picked up and once again the rep said they can't control what happens. I said that's ridiculous! I then asked to speak to a manager and was told that she will send an email to the manager with my phone number so that he could call me. NO CALL ever came. Over the weekend we decided to cancel our service but still put the chair out. I actually watched the truck come this morning and for the third time drive away without the chair!! I cannot believe how little this company cares about their customers. Our neighbors and we are incredulous!

    I originally had G&C waste services who sold my contract to Advanced Disposal at the end of the summer.  I liked G&C, but the quality and frequency of my service really fell off after the switch.  Since the switch, I have only had my trash picked up twice in the  last six weeks.  I have also noticed trash/debris in my yard on trash day, presumably because they are falling out of the truck or the cans as they haul the trash away.  I never had these issues with G&C.
    The first time I called them to tell them they missed me on trash day, they apologised and sent a truck on an alternate day.  
    After being missed several more times, I called to cancel my service.  I needed to restate my intention 3 or 4 times before the customer service rep started taking steps to close my account.  The worst part is that I'm being asked to pay for the 2 trash pickups that happened in the current (Oct-Dec) billing cycle.  Couldn't they just comp these two pickups seeing as they missed so  many pickups that I did pay them for?

    For the first year and change, things went smoothly.  Pick-up was on time and at $220 a year it was a good price.  Then 4 or 5 months ago they started coming late.  A missed pick-up here, another one there.  At first it seemed to be random so i would call the next day and report a missed pick-up, they'd come- no problem.
    Then about 3 months ago, it started happening every week.  The recycling still came on time every week, but the trash kept on being missed.  I would call, report the missed pick-up, and beg for someone to call me to find out why this was happening.  Out of more than a dozen phone calls and messages I never once received a call back.
    Some weeks, even after reporting the missed pick-up, they never came.  I'd have to shove my trash in my trunk and drive it out to a friends house to throw in her garbage can. 
    It didn't matter if I called during business hours or after hours- I never got an answer as to why this was happening or what could be done to prevent it from happening again.
    Finally, when I'd given up I called to cancel and after 9 tries- 5 rang with no answer, 3 busy signals and one finally got through- they informed me that the garbage end of things had changed management and they were "still working out the kinks".
    I would never use this company again anf highly advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere if you actually want your trash to be picked up.

    It was a good experience. The guy who runs it. He handles everything himself. This makes it disconcerting. Sometimes it is difficult to get hold of him as he is doing ten things at once. I guess that is what you have to do when you start your own business. You tell him what you want to get rid of and he will give you an estimate. You know upfront the approximate cost. He came ahead of time. He is very efficient. He performed well. His price is reasonable. You can talk to him about the estimation of cost. His price is reasonable.
