  • Great, fast service from Home Tech. I couldn't use my old laptop. They came out cleared a couple viruses, so it's functional, but it's 8 years old, so I'm keeping it as a backup. I bought a new laptop from them and they set everything up for me, connected to wifi, setup security software and backups. And it was cheaper than Best Buy! Will use them again

  • It went well. The desktop pc was a 2007 Dell that came with Windows Vista (which is no longer being fully supported.) I just wanted to be able to use it a few more years since it was an expensive purchase at the time. The gentleman gave me more space by removing programs and files that are no longer needed. He upgraded me just one Windows program newer that allows me to use Google and have support. He added the free antivirus and malware programs. He basically "cleaned it up" so that I don't have to buy a new desktop or laptop. I consider the price well worth it since I am not savvy to be able to do it myself.

  • Fred & Jason are fantastic to work with. As someone who has limited knowledge of what sort of things are needed to make sure my company is setup correctly, they made it easy. They really took their time explaining things, were happy to answer all the questions I had for them, and then have continued to be incredibly responsive since the transition.   • John was very responsive to my service call. He picked up my laptop from my home and called me promptly to discuss the remedy for my extremely slow running computer. He was very methodical in his analysis of the problem. He fee was very reasonable. My computer is working better than ever...I am a very satisfied customer.   • Perfection all the way.  We looked long and hard to find someone who would actually come out and do this work for us.  We did not want to go to a large corporation or business chain.   We wanted an IT specialist who knew a lot about software as well as hardware.  We didn't want some kid who was learning on our time. Ray Cline immediately responded and came out the next day.   He was about to trouble shoot our laptops quickly (one had a hardware part fail) and resolved all software conflicts within a short period of time.  He has done this type of work or large corporations and seen all types of problems (we learned) so our problems were a piece of cake.  He set up our wireless network and connected our flat panel tv to the network so we could also use the flat panel and our computer together.  Very professional and knowledgeable.  This was a small job for him, but he treated us with the same priority and importance as some of the larger corporations he works with.  My husband  is going to hire him for Information Technology work at his place of business. His business has 150 laptops in use and a lot of server problems.  After talking with Ray, we know he can handle it.  He has been successful in his technology career working on large scale systems.

  • I have cancer and screw up my PC all the time. My funds are limited and they have never asked for   more money for the amazing 
    time consuming service they give. I would be lost without them ,as I am housebound. They are competent,patient, supportive and friendly.. They are all American.  They are the most wonderful organization and I wish everyone who needs help knew of them. I have had many HORRIBLE experiences with pricier companies.

  • He was on time, having called to say the previous job was taking longer than expected so he'd be a bit late. Since I'd want the same attention to my problem, I felt that was reasonable.

    He was prepared with hardware and seemed to have a supply of software to try to fix all the issues I was having.

    The old desktop gave him lots of trouble - it runs 97 - and he came back a week later since I still could not get all the items off and once I did, neither he nor I could actually look at some old photos (turns out they were AOL format which is not supported at all anymore). So some old photos were still lost to me, but I can, and did, take a picture of the screen with my cell phone and they seem 'ok'. The old laptop still does not work and I am in the process of taking off all worthwhile files so I can donate that one along with the old desktop to a local charity which refurbishes them for people who cannot afford to buy their own.

    The new laptop runs slow again. Not sure what happened. Am running AVG as he suggested and try to clean up things frequently but am getting worried. I don't feel it would be worth getting it worked on since it is 4 yrs old, though people tell me it is a good machine (HP pavilion dv6).

  • UCI diagnosed my failed computer was due to a failed power supply. Computer stayed in shop--not shipped out somewhere and would deal directly with the technician--not with some intermediary. There were no garbage fees---just the cost of the supply and labor which was extremely reasonable. Personal were all pleasant and professional.
