    I was told by Salego service tech that my AC unit was leaking and low on freon and that I should not use it because I would risk my coil freezing up. Of course, I was not given the option of having the leak found and fixed and freon added but Instead I was offered a price on a new unit. After suffering through a couple of 95+ degree days with no air-conditioning I turned my AC on and the air felt plenty cold to me so I called in another HVAC company who confirmed that I was not low on freon at all. When I informed Salego of this I received no reply or apology or offer to make amends.

    Woke up on a Sunday to a house that was legit 52 degrees and falling. AIR PURE was there within hours! Fast , friendly, and extremely professional service is what I received! Extremely competitive prices and the service was and has been fantastic! I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants superior service and professionalism!

    1 week ago (Saturday 1-6-18), in the midst of v/bitter cold temperatures, McDonald Plumbing showed up to my home with-in only 1 hour to access our furnace problem. I was told I needed a new furnace ASAP. With the assistance of Service Manager Bob Poston, we had a new Carrier Furnace installed by Monday morning. Bob was VERY thorough in explaining why my temp dropped down to 50 degrees, and why a new furnace was an absolute must. Bob's response time, excellent customer service skills, and ability to negotiate the right price and installment day, was the MAIN reason I choose his company. I highly recommend using McDonald Plumbing and def asking for Bob Poston.....Bob went "Above & Beyond" in his efforts to gain a new customer-

    Salego HVAC went to my elderly widowed mothers house and said she needed extensive repairs to furnace. They said it was covered under her warranty but it would cost $150 to pick up the part and $450 to install it and they can do it the next day. How is that covered under a warranty? Of course my mother was very upset because this is something my Dad would take care of. My brother and I asked her to get a second opinion and the guy who came said if what they said was wrong they would have had to red tag her furnace and he showed her the real problem and fixed it for $70!!!!! I feel this is a case of trying to take advantage of an elderly widower and will never use Salego HVAC and will make sure anyone I know stays away from them. If I could give zero stars I would!

    Service tech was prompt and friendly for the Central Unit inspection. He upsold me on the fall furnace inspection. They proactively called me in the fall to schedule, I called back a week later and they scheduled a day and time that was convenient for me. The same tech arrive, was friendly and thorough.

    The products and services of Automatic heating and air were, in my estimation, of the highest quality. They showed up precisely when they said the would and finished on schedule. I got the feeling that Customer Satisfaction is paramount in the way they do business. Finally, I deeply appreciated they're follow up after installation. I would recommend their products and services to anyone. I am a very satisfied customer.

    There was quick response to our initial call. All other calls were handled in a timely manner throughout the time of the work being done. A technician was at our home within a day of the initial phone call to diagnose our A/C problem. Mark called when he was on his way to our home. Upon arrival he was thorough in examining our A/C system to discover the problem. Once the exam was done he gave a understandable complete yet concise explanation of the problem and the proposed solutions. He even explained how we could use the A/C unit fan until the repairs were made. To fix the problem, parts needed to be ordered. The central office called with a statement of the parts needed and their cost. They honored the still-in-effect warranty from Schultheis from their initial installation of the A/C unit. Our cost was for the parts only. The parts arrived within a week. Luckily this was at a time before any high temps. The replacement service was scheduled the next morning after the parts arrived. The same technician, Mark, came to do the work. He called before arriving. He was as courteous, personable and professional as during his initial visit. He began his work promptly upon arrival and was finished within an hour. Upon completion of the work he spent time explaining what he did and how he checked that everything was working fine now. Thank You Mark and Schultheis for a job well done!

    I don’t really and anything to compare the price to. Just one person came out. It took about 45 minutes to an hour. They left the area clean. I rated them an “A” because I have been using them. They are reliable. I think they’re honest and they don’t try to take advantage of you. I have good history with them.

    Prior to getting work done - I received cost quote 99/hr - job would take about 2 hours - and 1 person needed - plus parts. Expecting 200 plus bill - received bill for 515 - OUCH! An un-needed helper came along at 45/hr - and although they worked for a bit over 2 hrs - I was billed for 3 hr labor now 145/hr (and it included travel and prep time). I spoke with Skip the owner who hollered at me over the phone! Gee, I only dealt with them for 35 plus years. They were sent a check covering 1 persons labor for 2.5 hrs labor plus parts. And I was told to never call them again! Not Recommended

    I actually have a service call with them to do like a routine maintenance coming up next week I believe. A yearly thing they come out once a year before it get's too cold here in western Pennsylvania and take a look at the furnace and make sure everything is in tick top shape.
