APampered Pets has taken care of our families animals. Both for long vacations and for daily feeding and walks. Denise knows how to manage a cranky cat! She helped us during a family medical crises and wore a mask to protect our family member. Our dog quickly grew to trust her and went out for a much needed daily walk. She sends pictures to reassure us that our pets are doing well. This is the pet service you want!

FApparently, they are now under new management, but please don’t be fooled. It’s still the same owners. I had been going to Morgan’s Paws and had no issues with service up until I had an incident with my Golden when he was a puppy. I will NEVER step foot in this business again. I used to trim my dog’s nails myself, but as she has gotten older, she’s gotten grumpy when it comes to having them cut. I always hear her whine and yip from the back, but she fussed at me so I thought it was completely normal. Plus, these are supposed to be professionals, and I assumed she was in good hands. When I first got my puppy, I took him in for his first nail trim with no issues. We went in about 2 months later for another nail trim, and I could hear him using his big boy bark and growling. Then I heard him crying. For a moment, I swore I even heard someone yell at him. He almost never cries - even when roughhousing with other dogs. The girl brought him out and said he had been bad. I commented on the fact that I heard he was upset. Deep down, I really wanted to step back there to the door and ask what the problem was during the whole situation. She told me to work with him on touching his paws. I explained to her that I had been because I could touch his paws or whatever with no problem. I even went through the rundown of the previous nail trimming experiences. He had them trimmed there with no issues. The second time was at the vet where he squirmed, but I held him still with no major reactions from him. The groomer at Petco also cut them and bragged about how well-behaved he was for a puppy. I even took it a step further by adding in an incident where a child stepped on his tail, and he never moved an inch. This is a dog who is being trained to become a therapy dog because of his temperament and love of people. So his reaction was totally out of character and raised a lot of red flags for me. Another customer was there with her two dogs, and she noticed blood on the one dog. The girl that had taken my puppy back came around to check his paw. He growled at her when she touched him. He has never growled at a soul. It turns out that it was coming from his tooth that was not bleeding prior to us arriving. For the time being, I chalked it up to him losing a couple teeth earlier in the week and left. I checked his paws when we got to the car, and he just sniffed my hand but never pulled back or reacted. He was in distress and panted for 30 minutes after we left. I ended up going by my vet’s office just to have a vet tech look at it. Because there was no blood coming from the tooth prior, the vet tech said it was highly likely he was allowed to smack his face against something during the incident and for me to watch the tooth. She also looked at his nails, and he was perfectly calm the entire time she had her hands in his mouth and touching his nails. My puppy is the happiest, friendliest, and most docile dog you will ever meet. There is no way he was just “bad” for a nail trim. I don’t think he felt safe, and it also leads me to believe that one of the people back in that room was rough with him. I wish I would have taken the time to read more reviews before I had taken my other dog now. I can guarantee you that this is one business I will no longer support.

FI was told it would be 2 hours for our cocker spaniel I went back at that time to be told she was having problems with another dog so it would be another hour. I went back in one half hour to wait because it was not after dark and I can't drive after dark and had to find a ride. Then she became very sorry with me and said my dog was being fussy. Now I questioned why this was never said in other visits and she told her it was another dog. Then when she finally got done, and I paid, she said the owner decided that can't service it dog anymore!!! Very dissatisfied. Very unprofessional. Then the owner looked it the door and sarcastically said Merry Christmas. I would never recommend. And they never finished the job, very uneven trim. Very happy.

DThe wellness visit was fine. However, the neuter and stomach surgery happened without harm to my dog. However, upon checking on my dog; I was told that my dog was agressive and the staff requested that I accompany them to the holding area because staff would not approach him. Okay- not be curt but you just took his manhood and made him feel like H-E- double hockey sticks, is this the environment to tell me my dog is agrssive. So staff was visably frighten by him and I was lectured that my puppy was not being raised appropriately. First of all my dog was young, because of his breed he needed to have the surgery as early as allowable (giant breed) as recommended by them! Then I was told my dog needed to be in training classes; which we had already enrolled him into with goal of being a therapy dog. My dog was not agressive- my dog was scared (fear agression).. The staff at the office should have been able to handle him and identify with the trauma that had just occurred. ~End of story.

AThe staff at Fetchin Sticks always takes great care of my pet. Very friendly. Very clean facility. We like the doggy daycare but do not like the policy regarding kenneling and having to have had your pet in doggy daycare in the past 30 days or it is not available when you kennel. Price is a little high but I guess you get what you pay for.
Absolutely recommend this boarder.

CIn December 2015 one of our 2 dogs got a yeast infection in the ears after grooming; about Feb July 2016 both dogs got severe yeast infections in the ears. The vet said it was from water in the ears. Since it happened not once, but twice, and they are not exposed to water, it must have been from the grooms. When I bath them, I keep my hand over their floppy ears and pour water gently on the head. In bathing dogs myself for 17 years, I never got water in their ears. It seems very difficult to do unless the hose was squirted up on their face or something: I do not understand it, Also one dog now cowers whenever I bathe her.

APLUSH PUPPYTook my two cats in for a summer grooming. One can get a bit fiesty, but I heard no complaints from anyone. Both came out looking great! Also, how embarrassing, my cat crates were so dirty from being stores in the basement, low and behold when I picked my kitties back up the crates were cleaned! I couldn't thank them enough for the thoughtful gesture. It was so easy to schedule an appointment, and the drop off window provided was convenient (between 8-9 am), pick up was smooth (they take all forms of payment) and the whole process was quick. Cats were both in and out in under 3 hours. Just the perfect amount of time to run a few errands around town. I highly recommend this husband and wife duo (how adorable) who have been in business for over 30 years!!- Savannah B.

AThe Dapper Dog Grooming SalonWe really like them. They are actually really good. She is impossible to get. She has a waiting list and she's booked out till the end of November I think. We have small dogs. Once we got in touch with here and were able to actually schedule an appointment, since then it's been nothing but a good experience. She's not cheaper than anybody else, but she's certainly not more expensive than anybody else. She's busy, but after the second call she did get back with me. Things come up. She is the only there, so it's just her. She tells you when to drop off the dog. She tells you when the dog is going to be done, she's always been right on time with that, and she gives us a call right away when the dog is done, which we like as well. She took the time to talk to us, the dog's look great, she did exactly what she promised to do, she explained what her procedures are, she explained how she does the grooming, what she looks for, and what she offers. She did exactly that. Another thing that we really like is that she takes a whole bunch of dogs and crates them. She takes your dog and then calls you when your dog is done. She doesn't want to crate them and traumatize them, so she makes sure that she's only taking one or two dogs at a time so they can always have a good experience and we really like that as well.- Maurice R.

AAdorable Paws GroomingShe's great. She actually takes them out and walks them. It's not like they just go in a kennel and stay. We go every 6 weeks. I don't know what to compare the price to.- Lorraine W.

APetco Animal SuppliesI have no problems with them out there. It's predictable. I get her there and they have her for about an hour to hour and a half. She's clean. She seems to like to go. It's good. They're pretty accommodating. I think we get her from anywhere from $30 to $50, depending on what we want done. Which I normally just do the wash and I get her teeth and her nails done.- Maryann J.

ATop Knot GroomingShe is the best. She is so good with the dogs. She is excellent with little dogs, big dogs, puppies, older dogs. She was done in a matter of less than 3 hours. She doesn't use the cage dryers and I'm so thankful because my dog is horrified of the vacuum, the sound of a hair dryer. It gets so hot in those and he's past crate training and so much of that so he just doesn't need it.- James & Lori C.

APLUSH PUPPYHave been going to them for 15 years, at least. The guy, he’s real nice to them, but he is no nonsense and they don’t give him any trouble. It’s really funny! I have this one Chihuahua that hates getting her toenails cut. I heard him just going, “Buckwheat, stop screaming, I haven’t even started yet!” Then he just pets them and cuts her toenails. She came out all grumpy, but fine. It’s just funny hearing him go, cause he really gets the job done without a lot of messing around. He's just a good dog groomer.- jay k.
