Auto Repair reviews in New Cumberland

It is a pretty busy dealership. You call for appointment. It is usually a couple of weeks where you can get in. So, it must be pretty popular. I dropped it of at around 7:30 in the morning and went back after lunch and picked it up. The car has only got 20,000 miles on it. I never had any problems. I have been using them since I bought the car. It is three years old. I have never gone anywhere else.

    Selga, Inc
Bob (owner) greeted cordially, entered computer service record (1st time visit). Promptly had car taken to service bay. Comfortable waiting area. Very reasonable time to complete. Car kept very clean. I'll return & highly recommend!

    Kreitzer's Automotive Service
It went very well. 1st they bend over backwards to get me in quick since she waited  to tell me something was wrong. Then they provided a loner car and was very very flexible about returning it and dropping off payment. They are located about 20-30 min away but they are well worth the drive.
I have used them for other repairs. This last time my other daughter Subaru brakes were squeaking. They check it out and did not find anything, they did not charge me for their time and the loaned me a pick up truck that I could use to get table and chairs for Graduation party.
They also have the most friendliest cats and dogs.

Their price is reasonable though. We have been taking our cars there because we feel like he does a good job and he is honest. They have always done a good job and they are prompt. I truly feel that he is an honest guy. Their quality of service is good.

Jack Williams Tire & Auto Service Centers
Jack Williams will match anyone's price on an apples to apples basis. I shopped on line and found that the lowest price was from Sam's Club and even though I was not a member they matched it. If you don't shop around and do the price match or bargain you will not get the best deal.
The tires were purchased at the Camp Hill store for a 1998 Lincoln Navigator with 145,000 miles on the odometer that had been purchased about a year earlier. I was having problems with what I thought was loose steering. They went over everything a second time and quot;by handand quot; and assured me that there was no problem with loose steering and that the air ride suspension and ball joints, etc. were in good condition. Turned out that the looseness was due to a broken belt in one of the tires. The Navigator drives 1000% better. I appreciate the honesty and professionalism at Jack Williams and their willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied.

    Kreitzer's Automotive Service
We realized on Sept 30th that our inspection was due on our Ford van.  Called Kreitzer's to see what the availability was for inspection on Oct 1st.  Since we were previous customers, Jim was able to rearrange some other work to fit us in.  A detailed list  of work done was provided with the invoice and to let us know that 2 tires should be replaced asap.  Completely thorough and will give us a reminder when the next inspection is due.  Just great to do business with Jim and Katy.  Thanks!

    Lehman Volvo
Not well.  The throttle body sensor actually failed prior to the expiration of the warranty and I had a repair invoice from a local service provider, but Lehman would not honor the extended warranty (imposed as a result of class action lawsuit against Volvo) because the on-board computer hadn't gone into limp-home mode yet.  As part of the resolution of the class action lawsuit, Volvo "reprogrammed" the on-board computer to delay triggering limp-home mode in the case of throttle body sensor failure.  Lehman would not go to bat for me with Volvo.  I will not go to bat for them with Angie.

    David Russell's Import Emporium
This provider specializes in Volvo service and repair. His prices are much lower than the local dealer, who has a monopoly on Volvo sales in the area. Dave is easy to work with, but he works alone and his schedule tends to back up. He's pricier than the chains for routine service such as oil changes, but the chains don't always have the right filters, etc., and have caused me problems in the past because they are not familiar with Volvo. We use Dave exclusively to service our 1999 Volvo, and he has kept it running well,. Caveat, he is better with the engine and drive train than he is with the interior trim, which has a bad habit of disintegrating on Volvos from this era because of the cheap plastic they used on the instrument panel and other interior trim.

The service was provided as promised. It took a bit longer than it should and the price was higher than I could have got elsewhere, but I have a long relationship with this provider and he treats me well, so it's worth the extra $$

Charlie has always been the very perfessonal and up front with me. Had checked it out and told me what needed done with a very accurate estimate. He was able to get my car in and out of the shop very quickly.
