installers worked quickly and we were satisfied with their work. We love our new flooring.I would also like to compliment the sales people that we dealt with when choosing our flooring, especially Tom Ball. Everyone was very helpful, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend Butler Floor and Carpet.

    Perry Home Improvements
He took over for another contractor who didn't do good. They're A -- Number One, the best in every way. He's very honest and reasonable in price. He's a very good and conscientious worker. Anything and everything you would want in a contractor, this kid is. He quoted a price for the mold removal and it ended up being more. We said we would pay the difference, but he said he quoted us a price and he was going to stick with it. He shows a lot of integrity. He's very, very honest. He's familiar with mold remediation and all forms of home improvement. You name it, he does it. I'm 71 years old and have been around. I know contractors and good workers. I don't know where he's been, because I wish we would have contacted him initially. I'd rate him higher than your rating scale goes. He's very good. When I called him, he came out that day. I would absolutely use him for other jobs. I feel very, very comfortable with him.

    MOORE FLOORING
My husband and I would highly recommend Moore Flooring to anyone in the Pittsburgh area looking to install new flooring, or replace existing flooring.  Bill and his crew are professional, courteous and excellent at what they do.
As a family with small children, the prospect of internal home projects is daunting as any major change will inevitably disrupt daily activities/conveniences.  Bill Moore was keenly aware of this and planned out the schedule of the project so that our lives were as minimally disrupted at possible.  (For example, at the end of each day Bill ensured that we had ample space for the kids to walk without risk of injury, and if any unfinished floor was exposed he'd stress the importance of wearing shoes/foot covering in those areas so the kids didn't get hurt. Also, both bedrooms were completed in their own day, so at no time were my children sleeping anywhere but their own beds.) And this something neither my husband nor I thought to request, that's just the way the folks at Moore Flooring operate. They clearly appreciate their clients as people/families.
The aforementioned courtesy, is a tremendous bonus to the high quality work performed.  They take their time and pay close attention to detail.  There's no doubt that every piece of wood is given attention - as an example, we happened to order wood from Brazil, the wood itself had a great deal of variation in it - but one particular piece was absolutely beautiful, but looked just a bit more dramatic than the other pieces.  Bill set that piece aside and asked us if we wanted that piece included in the floor or not.  I found that level of attention to the project impressive.
We absolutely love our new floor both the beauty and quality.  Our wood took time to come in, but that's due to what we ordered.  Once the product is available to be installed, a project start date is set and you go from there.  The project took approximately one week to complete, and well worth it.
Bill Moore has extensive experience in this industry and we were quite impressed with his depth of knowledge relating to the various types of wood, tile, and even carpets.  Bill and his crew are personable, kind and courteous - we felt very comfortable having them in our home.  They clearly treat their clients' homes as they would their own.
There's no question if/when we make any future flooring changes we will contact Moore Flooring for the project.

    McLusky Kitchen and Baths
During the installation of the tile I noticed the tile didn't looked even. I discussed this with the owner and he assured both my husband and I that we were seeing shadows and once the grout was in it would be fine. A few days later I texted the owner expressing my concerns and he again reassured me it would be fine. When the job was completed, the floor was terrible! He blamed it on bowed tiles and had a rep come to look at the flooring. The tile on the backsplash was also uneven. I contacted an attorney with pictures and he agreed that it was a terrible job. Shortly after we received a letter from his attorney stating that we had structural problems and were told about it and given options for different flooring but we insististed on this flooring. We have had 3 others contractors come into our home to see if they can fix the floor. None would touch it and said it would have to be ripped out. We have only lived in this house for approximately 2 years, so I contacted our realtor as we had a complete home inspection. They were surprised and gave us information on a structural engineer to have come to our home. By law we have to let them come back into our home and give them a chance to fix the problem. We were told they would only fix the obvious ones. I have had several people ask about my floor, as you can not walk in bare feet comfortably. The grout has fallen out in several places on the floor and backsplash. They did come in to repair the backsplash but left several tiles uneven, and told us that the wall, too, was uneven. Words can not express how disappointed I am! It has been a terrible experience!

    McLusky Kitchen and Baths
We went to McLusky because of the positive experiences of friends. We knew, in general, what we wanted, but didn't have all the details worked out and didn't know if what we wanted was feasible.
Jessica, the designer, was an absolute dream to work with. She came to the house to get measurements and take notes, then drew up an initial plan and estimate. She answered our questions, offered other options, and guided us through the process of choosing all the pieces. When everything was selected, she gave us the final estimate and anticipated start date.
The actual work started about 2 weeks ahead of the date we were given, which was great. Steve, Bob, Mike, and Bill started each day by laying down drop cloths from the back door through the kitchen and the hall to the bathroom. They made every effort to minimize noise, dust, and mess as they went about their tasks. At the end of the day, they cleaned up the drop cloths and ran a shop vac over the area. They are craftsmen and professionals, but first and foremost, they are wonderful people: friendly, courteous, trustworthy, and never a voice raised in anger or frustration. A big plus for us - as our grandchildren (4 and 7) were here on several occasions during the remodel - was that there was never any bad language.
We knew that the project would include inconvenience, but McLusky's staff were so accommodating and helpful, we were almost sorry when it was done.
