    Sacremento Roofing Co.
This is the second time i am posting this review. The first one was posted then got updated and removed. I had my roof replaced in December. Dean always called or texted me with the updates and when they would be out to work around any weather issues.

    Sacramento Contracting
The work was performed during the desired time period. The contractor and partner were highly professional. He began work each day at the stated time. He cleaned up the work site every evening. The quality of work appears to be excellent. He provided a workmanship warranty double the number of years that all other contractors offered. The contractor presented a detailed scope of work, including materials to be used and the quantity of each material. I was also impressed with the equipment that was used on the project. The vehicles were in excellent condition.

    All-Brite Window & Gutter Cleaning
Bill is very professional along with his workers. I would recommend this privately owned company to anyone. He will continue to clean my windows and blow off the gutters (I have many, many trees around my house).

Doing It Right Roofing Siding Remodeling LLC
THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB. NO MONEY WAS PAID TILL THE JOB WAS COMPLETELY DONE TO MY SATISFACTION. HARDY BOARD IS DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH AND THE CREW KNEW HOW TO INSTALL IT CORRECTLY FOR THE WARRANTY. THE WORKERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND TRUSTWORTHY. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN AND WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THEM.

A Better View Window and Gutter Cleaning
Over the years I have been using "A Better View" window and gutter cleaning, I have never been disappointed with their service. A Better View" work quality is of the highest caliber, the no charge/free estimates are always on-target, "A Better View" always maintains a very high standard of cleaning service and there are never times when I have to clean-up after "A Better View" has finished its work.. They always leave their work area cleaner than it was previous to their arrival on the scene. The owner is always punctual, professional and always provides excellent, high quality service with a smile. I rate "A Better View" as a first class operation... and I plan to use it for many years to come. In my opinion, "A Better View" is number one.

    Tuff-As-Nails Contracting LLC
foreman came out to look at my house before giving me an estimate (much appreciated since one company gave me an estimate without even stepping foot on my property). I appreciated the company taking on my small job since not every company will take on smaller jobs. Workmen started my small, but much needed, project within a reasonable timeframe. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and, so far, the new downspouts perform great. The heavy rains of spring will be the real test.

    Rogo's Handyman Svc LLC

I called Mark after completing a thorough review of his website to understand all of the different types of work he performs, so that I would not be wasting his time.   I told him over the phone (and send him a list via email in advance) that I had an extension to-do list and that he could look at the work and let me know which part or all that he wanted to bid on.  The list included spot light replacements, gutter cleaning, light carpentry work, light roof repair, staining, painting and plaster repair...  In addition there was some tile repair and hot tub trim work that he did not seem interested in, and that was fine.  I also had an electrical outlet that needed replaced... he quoted me $ 85 and I declined...  (replaced it myself in about 5 minutes).  For everything else, probably about 2 or 3 days of work.

He came out and we walked through everything for about an hour.  He said he would clean the gutters and change the spotlights that day and that he would contact me within 2 days with an estimate for the other work.  He is a pleasant person and it was a nice visit.. I felt that he would be competent in the various work items that we had zeroed in on.

It's now been 2 weeks and I haven't heard a word from him... nothing.  It is frustrating to have a contractor come out, take your time and then not even the courtesy of a call.

I don't really want to hear from him now.

    LeafFilter Gutter Protection
The sales pitch was a little strong, but he convinced me that they had a superior product. This was confirmed by independent check with Consumer Reports website, where their protection, called Leaf-Filter was rated tops, but a bit pricey. I have been having a lot of problems with gutters clogging due to leaves and seeds from surrounding maple trees. I previously had gutters
and leaf protection installed using Minnick (and before them another person), but it too jammed (the gutters were sloped incorrectly and their Leaf-Relief system was installed improperly - I need to revise the 5 star rating I gave that company a year back). When I add up all the bad installations, the water in the basement as a result of clogged gutters, the one by this contractor is worth it - it comes with a guarantee. The installation went without any issues (one person did most of the work and he had a helper with less critical work). They were prompt and courteous and cleaned up after their work.
I am waiting for the first heavy downpour to really test it, and if I find problems I will update this.
The names of the gutter guards are similar and easy to confuse with each other: the good one is Leaf-Filter; the not so good one is Leaf-Relief. use consumer reports website to check them all out.

    Pindro Roofing Co, LLC
George was prompt, professional, knowledgable,  and skilled throughout this whole project.  He responded immediately  to our initial  call to him, did a satellite digital  survey of our roof and was able to give us a  very accurate proposal of what would be needed for materials and how much the labor would cost.   His pricing seemed fair considering the scope of the repairs.  He made helpful recommendations as to the venting issues, what windows to buy etc.,  and was very patient working with us if we had questions while the job was in progress. He went beyond what we would have expected in his consideration.  An example of this is that we had another construction project going on at the same time which was going to require  us having to rent a dumpster.  George told us to just make a pile  of the refuse from that project and his men would load it into their dumpster for removal at no extra cost. This was so kind and way beyond what he needed to do.   His workers were also very skilled and respectful.  It is always rather traumatic to spend this much money and  have a group of people literally crawling all over your house for weeks.  They made it as easy an experience as possible.  It was refreshing working with George in these days when from my experience, it can take weeks after trying to contact someone for them to even initially get back to you and  then what you were told and what is done differs.   George  laid out how everything was going to occur, stuck to his timeline and  and budget and got it done. There were no hidden surprises, delays  or   disagreements.   I would give George and his company a triple A  rating if that were a category.   We feel so fortunate that we  were able to find George .  Thank you Angie's List!

They had our number, probably from a list generated through previous work done. They called us every month or so to see if we needed something done. We finally decided to let them come out to provide us with an estimate to replace our Roof and Gutters. We could not believe the price they quoted us, over $34,000.00! We declined their services, of course they wanted to know why. We informed them that we found other contractors at a lower price. They called back about a week later telling us they had some sort of low income plan to pay for most if not all of the project, but they could not do it over the phone, skeptically we agreed, after all who wouldn't want a free roof! So, they returned about a week later for their pitch. The first thing he told us was the estimate previously quoted of $34,000 plus was incorrect and their new modified estimate was over $36,000. I wanted to ask where he kept his robber's mask and his gun. After asking him to justify the quote he showed us how their products are better than any others, and how their workers were better than any others, and how they were better than anyone else because of all of the photocopied awards and endorsements he shows every one, and so on..., he just got more and more nervous as he went on. Their pitch was they were going to lower their price by 20% and an additional 6%, which dropped ther price by about $9,000, which he said were from humanatarian funds. While inquiring about the fund we realized they were using marketing dollars, which was provided to them through their outside suppliers as a kickback from the result of bulk purchasing. When he realized that we knew all about how they were coming up with the discounts he became very nervous. We just sat there while he embarrassed himself into an exit. We have not heard from them since and hope we never do.
