He showed up initially, but said he would return on 3 different occasions to get me a price, but never did, and never called. Sarnack roofing was called: he showed up when he said, gave me a price, came back 3 weeks later as he said and completed the job and was paid.

    Master's Home Solutions

The original roof on our familys 30 year old home was showing the classic signs of aging; excessive shingle grit loss and some of the fiberglass core was beginning to become exposed.  Fortunately we did not suffer any roof leaks yet, but we felt that the roof was on borrowed time.  I did an extensive amount of online research on different brands of shingles and roofing systems.  We eventually decided on GAF Timberline Ultra HD Shingles along with the GAF Premium roof system.  We also wanted a fully licensed and certified roofing installer.  Masters Home Solutions was a GAF Master-Elite certified installer and they came highly recommended by several sources.  Steve from Masters came to our home to assess the job, present all of the details about the GAF roofing system and prepare a quotation for the work to be performed, 35 squares over three separate roofs.  After we negotiated a price, we signed the deal and put a 50% deposit on the job.

Approximately 4 weeks later (1 week delay due to rainy weather) the roofing crew arrived at 8:30 am on the scheduled morning.  After a brief meeting with the Masters Site supervisor, the roofing crew got to work.  By 10:30 am, all of the old shingles and underlayment were removed.  The visual inspection of the roof decking revealed that 100% of the wood decking was intact, and none of it required replacement.  After that point, all of the new materials were lifted onto the roofs and the installation of the new roofs commenced.  All members of the roofing crew worked tirelessly and with great care (I watched most of the work with binoculars all day).  At the appropriate time, the old skylight was removed and the new replacement unit was installed.  Three senior members of the crew focused on the roof installation, and one junior member was tasked with the cleanup of the old roof materials and its placement into the on-site dumpster.  All of this activity proceeded until completion at approximately 8:00 pm.  At that time the roofing crew packed up all of their ladders and equipment, made one final clean-up sweep, and they left for home at 8:30 pm.

By agreement, one week later, two additional Masters work-crews arrived at our house to remove 10 sets of old shutters and they installed 10 sets of nice new shutters.  Additionally, three new downspouts were installed.  All of this work was completed within 5 hours.

Overall, my wife and I are 100% satisfied with the work that was performed by Masters Home Solutions, and we are very happy with the much improved appearance of our home.  While somewhat more expensive than the average roof, the GAF Golden Pledge Lifetime Roof warranty is tough to beat and literally guarantees a leak-free worry-free roof, and it is transferrable to the next owner.  We certainly recommend Masters Home Solutions and the GAF roof system to anyone that wants a premium roof on their home.

    Affordable Roofing And Remodeling Company
I needed a new roof to get new home insurance due to age of existing roof. I called them on Friday evening and was called back within 30 minutes. He came next day to look at roof and give estimate. I received written estimate on Monday. He stated that it would be done in one day, which was important as one of us would have to be here because of our dogs. His bid was very professional and even included references. After we chose him as our roofer, the next day I had a sample book to choose my color shingle. Roof was put on about week after accepting bid and was only then because of miserable weather. I received a call that they would be doing my roof on Thursday and they would be here between 7 and 730. They arrived at approximately 720 and started right away. They were very professional and placed tarps on deck and ground to catch any debris.  They were done by around 2pm and you could not even tell they were here it was cleaned up so well. Roof looks fantastic and I couldn't have expected such a nice job. I strongly recommend this company and even if you receive a less expensive bid, I would pick them for their quick response,  professional job, and speed of completion. Plus I have a guarantee, not only on shingles, but a 5 year guarantee on their workmanship.

We had a  very good experience with Northeast Gutter Pro's.  They were on time when they came to provide an estimate, and gave us a few choices of how we could fix the problems we had with our old rain gutters.  We decided to go with a complete replacement since we had such a bad time last winter.  We were flexible with the date we wanted the work done, so that wasn't an issue with us, we were kept informed by the office when to expect the crew to come.  We weren't home when they did the job, and other than the new gutters and downspouts you wouldn't know they were there, everything was picked up and cleaned up.  We had one spot where the water was flowing too close to the foundation of the house and they were able to direct it away.  They also did a great job matching the color to the existing siding.  I waited until after the first good rain to review their work, and I can say that we got everything from the job we wanted.

Called for estimate came out within 2 days and gave me a remedy for my problem.  Did not try to sell me more than I needed.  Gutter that I needed had to be special ordered because of color.  A little over 2 weeks 3 men came out to do work, very professional, and job was done in timely manner.  Well Done!!  Would definately use this company again and highly recommend them.

They showed up at 7:30 am and were all done by 7:30 pm. Very hard workers; there was no diddling or sitting around. Cleanup was very good. There were a few bits and pieces of old shingle or underlayment left here and there around the yard, but nothing major and nothing that bugged me.
It was a pleasure to deal with John and he was was very good at keeping in contact via email. He gave plenty of details and the estimate came in well under some others, though not low enough to throw a red flag. His estimate was right in the neighborhood of where we felt a roof should cost (he was at exactly $250/square for our roof style) and others were just way overpriced. He did have to use some extra plywood to repair a few areas of the roof, but stated early on that if it wasn't much, it'd just be included in the price. He stuck to that and we did not see any extra charges for the few sheets of plywood that were used.

    Master's Home Solutions
Sales people and office staff very personable.  Sales people explained the roofing process in great detail.  Office staff kept in contact with us for scheduling of the roof (weather was not very cooperative).  Once the weatherman said there was going to be a good day, the roll-off was dropped off and the crew showed up and tarped around the house to catch falling debris.  At the end of the day, all the work was completed, and the area was cleaned up.  It took less than a day to replace the roof, add replacement collars to vents, put the ridge vent in, fix a problem gutter, and clean-up.  The roll-off was gone the next day.  Roof looks great.  They were $2000 more than the next nearest bidder, but it looks to be worth it.  Especially if the roof lasts as long as they say.

Called Master's after a previous contractor did not return on a warranty call.  They came out right away.  It turned out to be a simple repair ..... which they did for FREE; then they followed up with a phone call after a rainstorm to see if everything was OK.  I can't wait for something to break so I can call them again .... and actually pay them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Initial service in October 2012 was good. Vince showed up when he said he would.  He said he would guarantee his work.  He gave an estimate based on erecting scaffolding to perform the repair.  When the work was performed, no scaffolding was used.  The price however, stayed the same.  I paid the bill anyway.
Fastforward to June, 2013.  The roof leaked.  I called Vince and he returned my call but never came out to do the repair.  Kept calling for a month, then hired someone else.  The ratings above reflect the follow-up warranty call, not the original service.  Had he quickly followed up on the warranty (which took the other contractor only half an hour) the rating would be B+.

    Blakeslee Home Improvement Inc
Roof crew arrived but was not aware of contract. They repaired rotting plywood and applied quality shingles. The contract called for water/ice dam protection on all wall joints. This was not done, so they had to come back  to fix. Attempts to inform crew in-progress of their mistake was not possible due to language barrier.  However, Blakeslee was extremely responsive every issue, with appropriate fixes.  Gutters and covers went without any issues, and are quality products.  Their attention to  customer satisfaction without any hesitation are what make  my overall experience so high.
