    Cala Woodworks Furniture Repair
It was awesome. He was on time, had all of the tools needed to perform the work and repaired my chair in 20 minutes. He even showed me how the damage occured. The wood had a knot in it and it snapped right in that spot. I had to help him reattach the springs and he chopped off $20 bucks from the price for the trouble. Great guy you can't go Wrong with choosing him to do some work for you.

    Painting by Tanya
We are very pleased with the paint job Tanya & Tammy did. Tanya helped us choose the colors and gave some design ideas such as where to hang pictures etc. They completed the job in three days as estimated without any mess or problems. We would definitely hire them again.

Dave and Matt where here for 7 1/2 days. Some days working 10 hours and also ask if they could work on Sunday to make up for lost time do to the problem with some of  the wallpaper.  The wallpaper removal went great in the bedroom, but turned out to be somewhat of a challenge in the foyer and halls do to the fact that the walls where not properly prepared when the paper was hang. They did whatever it took to get the job done, including a power sander. The painting went extremely well. In the foyer I changed the color and that added $ 45.00 to the final bill. A small exterior job was also added at $125.00. Dave, Matt and their crew where very courteous and friendly. Cleaned up every day before they left, showed up every morning on time, most days at 7:30 AM. Where very tolerant of my two small dogs. All in all it was a pleasant experience. From the first time I spoke with Pam, Brent giving the estimate, which was printed out the day he was here, through 7 1/2 days of painting. I could not be happier with the way everything turned out. After completion of the job Brent followed up with a phone call..

I was thoroughly impressed with the service from this provider.  The original paint selection did not meet my requirements, so they worked with me to find a solution to the issue even though it meant practically starting the job over.  They did this with absolutely no hassle and no additional charge.  The final product was awesome!  The team followed up with me several times and made sure that I was happy.  I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Drywall seam repair work - It doesn't appear the drywall mud was feathered out very well. One spot has already re-cracked.
Interior painting - Terrible job. Lines are not crisp, straight, or clean at all (it doesn't appear that things were taped properly or at all in some rooms). We have already painted one of the rooms. There are places where this is no paint in the corners. The ceiling paint is very patchy with lot of roller marks. In all of the rooms there is a clear distinct line where the ceiling and the walls meet indicating that he did not cut in. In some rooms you can still see the old pain color in a number of spots.
    Exterior painting - No issues
Back splash installation - In general, the back splash itself looks good and seems to be installed properly. However, the grout may not have been properly set because there are many holes/divots in the grout.
Wainscoting installation - The installation itself is okay, but the paint job he did as well as the caulking is horrible. This is something we will have to redo.
Misc. caulking in bathrooms - Holes/divots have formed in the caulk it doesn't seem like it was applied very carefully.
In general, the work was sloppy at best. There was paint splatter on the furniture and the floors. I truly believe he was rushing through this job to just get it done without taking much care into how the finish product looked. We did have him come back and fix a couple of things, but there was little improvement in the finished product. He did negotiate a lower rate because we were unsatisfied, but the more we try and fix things the more we are finding out that we definitely overpaid and it was foolish of us to pay the amount we did. We hired someone because we thought they would be able to do a better job than we could. Instead we ended up paying someone to do a very poor job and we're spending even more money and time trying to fix what he did.

Did an absolute horrible job.  Left the job site without completing the job.  Broke the tub that he installed and the wiring was done all wrong and could have caused a house fire.  A second grader could have done a better job on the dry wall.  Huge gaps and holes in brand new dry wall.   Currently filed complaints with the PA Attorney Generals office and BBB to get our money back.

Drywall was installed with huge gaps between pieces. Additionally, ceiling was not secured to ceiling joists but to pieces of scrap 2x4 that was thrown into the gap. Water lines were kinked with no elbows and electric was tied into a 220 volt line to power a 110 volt circuit, shorting out the brand new exhaust fan.  Business claims it removed tools due to theft but most tools were secured inside the residence, and they removed their advertising sign from the front lawn.  The company took deposits and did not complete the contracted work.  An unidentified worker was asked to leave the property after a company representative refused to allow the worker to provide the home owner id. A home owner is allowed to know who is working on their property.   We expressed our displeasure daily with the contractor and their solution was to pack it up and leave the job site.

    Bravo Marble & Granite
The main contact, Mike, comes to your house to give you a free estimate.  He takes your measurements and you assume you can go to his warehouse to look at the granite slabs.  Not so.   I don't think he carries too much inventory at the present time. They've only been in Lancaster for about 6 months, but they have been in Philadelphia for a long time.   You pick your granite from 4x4 inch squares samples.   Mike does explain that the actual stone may vary from the sample when it comes in - because stone is a natural product and it all doesn't look the same. He explained that steel grey (the color I picked) can have more black in it and sometimes it will be lighter on the grey side.   I didn't have a problem with this as any combination of black and grey would work well for me.   When the slab came in, I did get the opportunity to view the slab.  Looked good to me.  The installation went well until one piece of my back splash broke outside.  However, Mike himself came with a replacement piece and replaced it for me ASAP.
Seams - Mike explained that my countertops needed 2 seams because my counters were so long (over 15 feet long).  He also stated that you WILL see the seams. One seam was going to be in front of the sink (4'' seam)  as opposed to having one long seam next to the sink.  Made sense to me at the time, but after seeing it, I would have done differently.  Also, the seams are not the thinist out there.  Mine are a little thicker.
Backsplash - The backsplash had some small imperfections (nicks/chips) which I noticed after the installers were gone.
Installation - pay attention during installation and address any issues with the installers then.  They come down from Philly.

Price - If you can't afford to pay huge prices for granite, but really want it - then call Mike.  For the amount of counter tops versus the price, I got a good deal.  Any granite place in my area would have charged double (I have been told).
Good things:  Pretty Steel Gray granite, Half Round Edge is  really nice, Installers were friendly, good time turn around, GREAT PRICE!
Not so good things:  Seam in front of my sink - don't do that if you think it will bother you.

    Gary's Kitchen And Cabinet Refacing
He was absolutely excellent. I could not be more pleased with the results. The price was more than half less than the big-name competitors. He was able to do a type of refacing that people are not even supposed to be able to do, and provides a lifetime on the cabinet doors.
