    1 & 2 - We had a significant gas leak in our gas service line to the range. We called 911 and nine emergency vehicles showed up at 10:00 P.M. on a Saturday night from the police department, fire department, ambulance, etc. The emergency personnel got everyone out the house and called PECO. Peco arrived in ten minutes, identified the leak, and turned off our gas service to the house. Oliver's technician arrived promptly, had to move our kitchen gas range out from the wall in order to get to the section of pipe that was leaking gas within the wall. He then repaired or replaced the necessary pipe section and did a fast, clean, and professional lob. He also replaced the affected part in the gas heater (a $720 part that was totally covered by my great Oliver Service Contract). 3 & 4 - Three days later another Oliver technician arrived to install a new faucet in our laundry tub and replace our 14 year old leaking hot water heater. I was amazed that this job was done in about three hours by just one man, including taking away the old dirty rusting water heater and taking away all related piping and trash. He also thoroughly mopped our entire basement floor, leaving it much cleaner than it was when he arrived.

    Our furnace was very old and had to be condemned when I had signature here for regular maintenance. The technician was very nice and explained everything to me, showing me where it wasn't functioning. Bill was the sales rep who came here and sold us a full HVAC system at a great price. The guys who installed it (the next week) were here very early (as promised) and worked all morning/afternoon to get it installed. Everyone who helped us was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend this company for regular maintenance or if you're in the market for a new system

    They guys at C&A are great! I was recently having a family party (my first house warming party) at my house, and wouldn't you know it my AC system decided on one of the hottest days to quit working. Well being already late in the evening on a Saturday none the less, I couldn't get any of the big name company's in my area (Delaware County) to come out in a reasonable time and before my guest started to arrive. Now starting to panic I called my brother to ask if he knew anyone, he gave me C&A number and told me they treated him well in the past. I called them immediately expecting to hear the same response I heard from the big name guys. I spoke to the secretary and she told me a service tech would call me back. About 5 minutes later a person named Anthony returned my call, I explained to him my situation and he told me that he would come right out.
    About 45 minutes two gentlemen named Doug and Anthony, who I believe were father and son, were at my house. They quickly got to work and to the root of the problem . They told me that my system was a little dated but they worked there magic and bingo it was up and running again. I quickly remembered that in the whole rush I had no cash on hand. They took my debit card right on the spot couldn't have been any easier
    So overall I am pretty impressed with this company. I felt like they were not trying to pull a fast one because I was at there mercy. I would recommend C&A heating and cooling to anyone, and when my system finally decides to quit working I know who I'm calling.

    In short, it took Oliver 3.5 weeks just to provide an estimate on a $4,000 project. Having spent $25,000 on plumbing and A/C over the last 2 years, take my word: if you want good customer service and a competitive price, go with one of the local competitors (Adam, WM Henderson, etc.) because my experience is that they will provide better customer service and a better price. Even though Oliver is headquarters in my backyard, I've tried to work with them on multiple projects and they've fallen short in several ways every time. Read below for a summary of this project: I first contacted Oliver on June 24 to request a combined estimate for extending our baseboard heat into a new master bedroom and moving our ductless split system into that new space. An estimator came to our house on June 29. After examining the A/C system, he explained that he could not provide an estimate for baseboard heat and that a second estimator would need to visit. He was unable to come to our house until July 8 and explained that he could provide an estimate by July 11. Only July 14, I emailed both estimators and on July 15 and 16, called their office but still received no explanation for why the estimate was late and why it had taken OVER 3 WEEKS to get a response. I finally received an estimate for one part of the project on July 18 and for the second part on July 20 and the total was roughly double that of a local competitor.

    A few weeks ago I came home from work and my house was quite frigid. I assumed the furnace might have been in disrepair since it had been a few years since the last time it was maintained. I contacted a friend and she referred me to Quality Comfort Inc. It was my first experience with them, and I was surely impressed. I called them after hours and was shocked that they were still available. I spoke with James and despite it being after hours, he was adamant about coming out to make any attempt at immediate repairs even though I offered to wait until the morning. He arrived with blue shoe coverings on and drop cloth in hand.  Unfortunately parts were needed to finish the repair. Also, after further inspection of my heating system, he brought to my attention the fact that my chimney was in need of a liner. I was previously told this by another company in years past but decided to wait on it at the time. I was very impressed by the respect he had for me my home. 
    First thing the following morning he arrived with the necessary part to finish the repair and installed the chimney liner. While he was working, I saw a brochure on his clip board about duct cleaning. I asked if he was willing to do a duct cleaning that day while he was doing all other repairs since I was so pleased with his work so far. He admitted his schedule was booked for the rest of that day, but he was very flexible and got me in later that week. 
     
    I highly recommend Ryan and James from Quality Comfort Inc. for any home repairs you might need. The work was fairly priced, and very meticulously finished. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

    The service turned out good except for one thing: they could not answer one of my questions.They also did not try to find the answer. So I tried to get my question answered by the manufacturer, but I have not gotten anywhere yet. I need to know how far the air conditioner compressor needs to be from the dryer vent because the heat coming out can interfere with the compressor. Otherwise I had no problem with them. They think they answered it, but they did not. They just wanted me to spend more money. Their answer was to pay to move the compressor but I said no. They should have known not to put it there in the first place.

    I was getting ready to leave for the shore and the night before my AC was not working. I was planning on leaving my cat at home while I was on vacation but when the AC stopped working I knew I couldn't leave her home in the heat! I was searching for various heating/cooling companies and I made a few phone calls. No one was able to come on such short notice and at night. I was asking friends for recommendations and someone told me to call SK heating and cooling. I called and spoke to Saki, he was a lifesaver! He was able to come over that very evening! I was so worried that I was going to have a huge bill but Saki took the time to look at my unit and it only ended up needing a cleaning. He was so helpful and took care of the problem. He was polite and kept his work area clean. I will definitely call SK heating and cooling again!

    The heater cleanings are the most thorough I have ever seen (in 35 years.) The techs are knowledgeable and personable. I was able to watch and ask questions as the work was progressing. I have had 2 heater cleanings, which come with annual service contracts. I have also had 2 service calls. The first one the heater refused to run. I called and they sent a technician within a couple of hours. He found the problem (a ��blocked filter) replaced it and re-started the heater. The second repair was for the mixing valve which is part of the hot water system (which runs off the oil heater.) I was not getting very much hot water. The tech came out and remembered being at my house once before. He knew the heater pretty well. He determined that the valve needed replacement. He went back to the office. They ordered the valve and called me when it came in, then came right over to install it. Since then I have had plenty of hot water! I have dealt with several technicians and office staff and they are always very helpful and professional.

    I couldn't be happier with the work performed by William Henderson Heating & Plumbing. They punctually arrived at 8am every morning. Most impressive of all, they STOPPED work and called me to discuss my options when unforeseen obstacles with retrofitting A/C to our house arose. Rather than finish the job, collect their check, and leave me to suffer the consequences of a shoddy install, they were willing to let me look at my options for a week before resuming work. They are true professionals.
