    Very well. Pricing on kitchen, bar, dining room & bathroom cabinetry, Kitchen & bath faucets & top of line showers, furniture, lighting, fireplace, full set of new kitchen appliances all made this remodel possible. Without the discounts offered I wouldn't have been able to redo my house. I will be using them to help design and remodel my bedrooms and exterior patios/landscapes when the time comes. A BIG SHOUT OUT NOTE about the designer who helped me, Caroline McCrea. What an extremely wonderful person and designer!!!!! Love, Love, Love her dearly. Her knowledge and personality made this such a great experience. I now consider her a beloved, and dear friend. Her expertise in kitchen design layout is phenomenal - she knows what you want. Her taste is impeccable and she strives to keep you in budget even when I I have tenancies to go overboard. Always pleasant and responsive to your needs. Again, love her dearly.

    The entire experience was excellent. We began with a knowledgable, hard working sales associate. The refrigerator was delivered and installed on the promised date. Their installers had to make modifications to a cabinet that is above the unit. That work was first rate. The installers and delivery people were great guys who respected our home and left it clean. They were also very careful when taking the old unit out and installing the new one. There were some tight fits. No nicked walls or woodwork. When they took the new unit off the truck they called to my attention two small dents on one of the sides. They gave me the option of ordering a new unit or a very fair credit to my credit card account. Since the dents will never be seen, I chose the latter. I probably would have never seen these dents if they had not called them to my attention. I'll be back to Don's in the future. I like dealing with honest, local merchants.

    We used an interior designer and they didn't give us complete information. We have a problem with a couple of the chairs not being exactly like we thought they were going to be and they should have given us a heads up on that. That is why we went with the interior designer. We were disappointed in that.

    Grimes Interiors

    Grimes did an excellent job for me.   I had a sofa and chair made in the 1940's that I love.   I bought them 43 years ago at an estate sale.   They are well made and very heavy.

    I knew exactly what I wanted.   Grimes came to my home with fabric samples.   I chose the fabric I wanted and they took the furniture back to their shop the same day.   Delivery was promised two and a half months later and it was delivered as promised.

    The pieces were beautiful!   I was very pleased.

    This is not cheap.   Unless you have expensive furniture it would be cheaper to buy new.   However, if you have good pieces that you love reupholstering is the way to go.   The sofa and chair cost $7,000 and I haven't seen anything in the stores that would be comparable.  I plan on keeping this furniture for the rest of my life. 

    I know that these pieces will look good for a very long time.

    Excellent! I am so glad I found Bob on Angie's List. He was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He work was outstanding! He obviously takes great pride in what he does, and it shows! I now have a chair that looks like new! The final price was even less than what Bob had originally quoted. Very highly recommend!

    I tried to contact Perla's Appliance on March 19, 2015 at approximately 2:30 pm to discuss my need to purchase kitchen appliances. The first time I called the phone rang multiple times and then I got a message that no one was available. I figured they must have been busy so I waited about a half hour and tried again. The same thing happened so I just left a message. I never received a call back so I waited until the next day to see if they would call me. They never did so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured that they somehow didn't get the message. I called them again around mid-day and I informed the person that answered the phone that I had called yesterday but no one called me back. She claimed that they did get the message and that she thought someone had returned my call. She informed me that the owner Rocco was with a customer but she would have him call me back in 15 minutes. I never received a call back. Today (3/21) I got busy and didn't think about the fact that they didn't call again until after they had closed. I decided to call and leave a message.telling them I was very dissatisfied with their lack of customer service. To my surprise someone answered the phone and said that the store was closed. I explained to him that I was calling to leave a message regarding my experience and that I would be submitting a review on Angie's List expressing my dissatisfaction. All he had to say was "thanks for the feedback". He didn't even offer an apology! Twenty minutes later I receive a call from Mr. Perla asking for me by name and acting as if he was just getting back to me regarding my original message. I recognized the voice as bing the person I had just spoke with when I called 20 minutes earlier. Did he think I wouldn't have recognized his voice as being the person I had just talked with? I reiterated that I wasn't happy with the way I was treated and again all he had to say was "thanks for the feedback". Needles to say this is not how you treat a customer. I will never use or recommend them to anyone.

    They sent someone to my house within 2 hours to pick up the chair once I called them.  Their service was fast and the quality was great.  They delivered the chair back to me on the date they estimated and the price was what they quoted.

    Sam and Mary are great people. Sometimes they do get busy and behind but I have never waited more than 2 weeks behind the date it was promised. That is very understandable. I just took a bedroom suite over and needed it by June. They said no problem. They are great to work with. They work with you on the color of stanins or paint that you want and they keep showing until you are staisfied. The quality of there work is top of the line. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so.

    We purchased a leather sectional couch with two recliners from Levin in Robinson Twp, PA approximately three years ago.  We chose Levin because we wanted to buy quality furniture that would last.  We purchased an extended warranty with the couch in case we had issues with it down the road.  The sale went fine and we were happy with the process and the delivery.  They provided a leather protection kit which was nice.
    We put the couch in our den which does not get used often for sitting.  It is more of an office.  The couch was seldom used for a couple years.
    After about two years the recliner began to fail.  The steel was very weak and it broke becoming inoperable and stuck in the out position, hanging loosely so it offered no support to my feet. 
    A couple months later the 'leather' began to peel.  An area about 12X15 inches began to peel on one of the headrests.  When it peeled, the 'leather' if it truly is leather was about as thick as a Giant Eagle bag and under which was clearly a vinyl layer.  I beleve the couch is actually vinyl but cannot prove this. 
    We contacted Levin several times to try to get it fixed under our 5 year extended warranty.  They offered to provide the parts for the recliner but would not repair it.  They refused to do anything about the 'leather/vinyl'.  They said that peeling is not covered under the 5 year extended protection agreement we purchased.  We spoke to someone who was supposed to be a manager and someone who was supposed to be from the corporate office but got nowhere with anyone.  It was as if they had this happen all the time and did not care.  I informed them I would be posting this to Angie's List to warn others to not buy from them and they seemed completely indifferent. 
    I went into the store and spoke to a sales person who said it is a poor quality couch that they sold me...?  It is a shame that the sales people know it is poor quality furniture and still continue to sell it at premium prices.
    I used to think Levin was a high quality furniture showroom but was very wrong.  If I had shopped at Value City or some other outlet, I could have understood a couch not lasting for three years and them not wanting to back it but not at Levin.  I thought this was a quality company before this incident.
    We are now buying furniture for a new home and will not be shopping at Levin.  Levin sells poor quality furniture at high prices and will not back their product even with an extended warranty.
