I'm very satisfied with this eye doctor. He sent me a contact lenses much better than my previous eye doctor. His office and staff was satisfactory for me and it's good. I would use him again in the future.

This is basically one guy and his significant other.
It was a great experience. He is really good... very helpful. Adapts himself to fit what the customer needs from him. The service was great, the product was excellent and the price was very good.
I do not have insurance so I paid for the glasses completely myself. While there might be cheaper stores... there is no better place to get amazing service and experienced advice.
There is a small wait because there are no appointments. But this gives time to think and browse. The owner, Matthew, is very approachable and has been doing this for a long time. He knows his old customers by name. Everyone seems happy with him. I certainly was happy. He expresses his opinions but will follow your lead easily. They seem to enjoy the business so the entire process and place have a positive feeling. I will go back. Since I started telling people how much I like him, I have learned that a lot of my friends and family are already his customers. I will be back.
Without hesitation I refer everyone I know to MGM Optics in Monroeville (Pittsburgh address but along William Penn Highway just east of Monroeville (in Wilkins Township). The only reason I can think that anyone would go somewhere else is if they are looking for a rock bottom price place and don't care that much about quality and service.

I like that he is right to point no fore runs. He tells you what is wrong. There are no maybes. The things he has done for me has been fine. I see him every some months because I have macular degeneration. I never had any problems with their availability. They can put me through far in advance. Their office environment is nice. They are right on time. The girls are lovely down there. He just have a different personality. That is fine with me because I am not there to have a party. I like his results.

    Luchansky, Dr. Craig A
Dr. Luchansky was very thorough, informative, and caring.  His follow-up was efficient and timely.  We will continue to see him. Dr. Luchansky is a leading optometrist for post-concussion eye issues.  His knowledge is evident and informative.  Any wait time was well worth it.  I highly recommend Dr. Luchansky.

I provided a prescription for glasses and ordered them using my Davis Vision insurance. The female optician was very helpful. When they came in, I couldn't see well in the lower bifocal part. I was told to wear them for a little while. I couldn't see my computer screen at all so I took them back. The male optician told me I might not be able to wear glasses and see my computer. That seemed like a crazy thing to say since I can see the computer just fine with my current glasses. . They measured my eyes and determined that Davis Vision, who made the glasses, made them wrong so they sent the glasses back to Davis. When they came in, they were still wrong and had to go back again. I told them to check the glasses before they called me (isn't this obvious?) since they hadn't done that for the first two pairs. It took three pairs for them to get it right. The opticians didn't seem very knowledgeable.

We were seem right away, the doctors were personable and explained things well, and took time with each of us. Their office space was clean and efficient and the staff was friendly. I felt we were well taken care of and will continue to use them in the future.

He won't let you out of the shop unless they are perfect and they fit perfectly. He sold me a pair of designer frames that everybody in Monroe sells for $700 and he sold it for $320. The reading glasses costs $52, which I thought was ridiculously cheap. He is very meticulous and he will grind the lens himself if the provider didn't do it right. He is the best. He doesn't have appointments but you just walk in and he is right there. He gets it done in a hurry. The glasses are perfect when you leave the office. I've referred him to several people and they have thanked me profusely.

I saw Dr. Wincko for my eye examination. He is very courteous and easy to talk to. He listens to whatever your concerns are and has helpful information. He suspects that my blurry vision is partially do to clogged glands in my eye lids and recommended warm compresses in the evening and/ or eye drops throughout the day as necessary. Despite the fact that my right eye is seeing poorly, it is an adjustment to my astigmatism and not a change in the strength of my prescription. If there is anything negative to say about them, it is that it can take a while to get out of there. They sort of bring you in on time, and the nurse does some preliminary checks. Then you wait for the doctor, after he checks your eyes, he puts in the drops to dilate your pupils - again you are waiting. Then you see the doctor again. It is quite a complex system they run, but it seems to work well. Despite all the shuffling, Dr. Wincko has never made me feel rushed to get out of there. He takes what time each patient needs. I find the waiting to be worth my while. If you are an impatient person, this may not be the doctor for you. I have pretty bad eyes and need to see a good eye doctor. I have confidence in Dr. Wincko and have seen him for the last 6 years. I definitely recommend him.

    Cole, Dr. Don T.
He is an optometrist. We know him personally, we're pleased with his service, and that's why we keep going. The office is small and I've never had to wait. I give them high ratings and will continue to go there in the future.
