    My son bought his first car from Chris, and Chris actually steered him away from a more expensive car on the lot b/c he knew my son's budget and knew the car was high maintenance and more than what my son needed.  I respected Chris from that experience, and from that day on, we have had a very good working relationship with him.  My son then bought his second car from Chris, and again, Chris steered him in the right direction.  My daughter then bought the car from my son, and continued to take the car to Chris for service.  My daughter is very interested in auto mechanics, and Chris has even allowed her to watch cars be worked on and has offered her instruction as to the 'hows' and 'whys' of car repair and maintenance.  I never felt I had to second-guess Chris, although initially, I did get 2nd and 3rd opinions from service centers only to find out that Chris was more reasonable with his prices and more honest upfront.  I will continue to go the Gardner Motors when in need of a used car and service on that car.  In my opinion, he's very respectable, professional and honest.

    A few months later, after the air conditioner was turned on for the first time, several problems occurred with the car. The air conditioner failed to function and service lights were activated. The car was taken to Sutliff Volkswagen, where it was inspected by their mechanics. They found that during the repair work done by Schmidt's Auto Body, the vehicle had been reassembled without the installation of 10 (ten) bolts. The radiator was sitting in the support assembly, but didn't have a single bolt securing it. Even the support assembly had been installed incorrectly and a normally unnecessary shim had been used.  The lack of proper reassembly allowed the radiator shift and move around. The unsecured radiator allowed a  cooling fan to slice through engine wiring, resulting in shorts in the electrical systems. The ambient air sensor was installed in the wrong place and was then damaged by the cooling fan. The front headlights had been replaced with only one bolt. Each headlight should have been secured with 3 (three) bolts. The repairs resulting from Schmidt's Auto's incompetent repair work resulted in further repairs costing $950.14.
    Mr. Douglas Lutrell, owner/operator of Schmidt's Auto was contacted by my partner. She explained the problems that had occurred with the vehicle, the report from the mechanic at Sutliff, and the cost of the resulting repairs. He stated that he was embarrassed that there were ten bolts missing and seemed to blame the poor workmanship on a helper. He stated that she should have contacted him if she had a problem with the work. She explained that she did not know that his work had caused the problem until she took it to Sutliff. He stated that there should have been rattling if so many bolts were missing. He also said that he didn't know there even were ten bolts in the front of the car. He said he couldn't understand how the bolts could be missing and then tried to blame the Suttliff mechanic for "finding things." He said that he was going to pull the paperwork, do some research, and then he would call her back. He indicated a desire to work things out and my partner, not being the type to want to sue someone, agreed to give him some time. He stated he would call back the following Wednesday. He did not call back. She contacted him again and left a message. Again, he did not call back. 
    Over the following months, my partner made further efforts to contact Mr. Lutrell and was consistently ignored. Finally, she reluctantly asked her attorney to send him a letter asking him to fairly compensate her for the costs of fixing his incompetent repair work. He ignored that request, too. Unfortunately, her kindness and patience cost her the ability to pursue legal action against Mr. Lutrell, as she had waited to long for him to do the right thing and "work it out" as he had promised he would do. Mr. Lutrell got away with an extremely poor job that actually caused damage to a customer's car. He callously avoided fairly compensating a customer for the damage caused by his incompetence. I have to strongly recommend that everyone avoid doing business with this unscrupulous individual.

    I was scheduled for inspection within 48 hours of calling in to get an appointment, provided with a loaner car during service, and was contacted to ask if we wanted an oil change during the inspection because we were about 500 miles until we were due. Kreitzer's performed the inspection, emissions test, and oil change. They included test results of antifreeze as well. I was able to pick up the car on the same day it was serviced and was able to pay for the bill over the phone using my credit card. I can't recommend Kreitzer's highly enough!

    I have only glowing reviews of Kreitzer's! I purchased a used vehicle from a dealership out of town on a Saturday. On Monday I contacted Kreitzer's to see if they could give it a look to ensure there were no serious problems with the car. I dropped the car off Tuesday after hours and was able to leave with a free loaner car. I picked the car up the next day with a clean bill of health! They also included a copy of a report done on the battery & alternator, and noted on my receipt that the car recently received new brake rotors. They were thorough and I trust their work completely.

The job was done to specifications and in a very timely manor. I felt that they took great pains to accommodate me. I highly recommend them.

    They provided me with quick and friendly service. They took the time to explain what the best options for my tires needs were - and they were not the most expensive. They gave me options that allowed me to cut corners but still get a good reliable tire. I have had a lot of work done here over the years. I would highly recommend Dailey's. This is a good honest shop that will give you good service and not try and take you for a ride.

    The technicians were very accommodating and friendly. They did not waste time and went right to work on my car. The only drawbacks were how they attempt to sell you other services that you may or may not need. Also they do not have Nitrogen so I did not have them top off my tires. The service is good, and it is fast and thorough. Just be weary of the sales pitches and you will do fine with this establishment.

    I've never had any trouble with the dealership. I've always went in and they've done my car and I never had any problems. When you buy a car there, the inspections are always free for the remaining years that you keep it. After three years you have to start paying for the oil changes. I had no complaints at all about their customer service. Every time I call they are convenient as to when I want to come and one time I had to cancel and there was no problem. Their punctuality is good. I usually wait for my car.

    The service technician totally explained to me what was involved and what he expected out of the dealership,  He was absolutely correct on what the dealer did to correct the problem.  The dealer offered to replace the rotorpads at approximately $250 more than Jacks quoted me.  Jacks also advised me to wait on my inspection to be done because I would be paying for labor twice.  So, I figure he saved me almost $400.  Yup, I'll be using these guys for service on my cars from now on.  They are honest and respectful men.  And, I recommend them to all my friends and family.
