The move went very well. The crew was fantastic. They were very polite, accommodating and didnt complain about anything. Kudos to them. They had a tough job! It was a wonderful idea to split up the move into two separate days. It was much less chaotic. Thank you!! Thank again for your excellent service. We would definitely recommend your company to anyone planning to move.

Wonderful experience. Moving is something I hate so much, I swore I'd never relocate again (until life circumstance altered that decision for me). These folks made it as easy as a cross country move can possibly be. The local team and their long-distance hauling partners were terrific. I struggle to convey how much their care, professionalism, and general good nature stood out to me. Communication was proactive and thorough, they kept to the estimate, they were fast but cautious with our possessions (which included a lot of antiques), and we also had them pack the very fragile stuff (stemware and such) from the kitchen and dining rooms. Not only did they serve us well, they treated each other well. While that may not seem relevant, you learn a lot being around a team of 6 people doing really hard work. How they think of themselves and one another, it seems to me, says something about how they view their clients and their clients' belongings. It's also worth mentioning that not a single item was damaged. While that is a nice convergence of the mover's skill and luck, the former probably plays the greatest part in the outcome. In looking at the cost, note that this involved packing 2 rooms plus some add'l items we never got to, materials to pack those items, team of 6 loading in PA, team of 2 unloading in TX at two locations (new apartment and storage unit), and obviously hauling the contents roughly 1,600 miles. I would recommend these folks to anyone and I would definitely use them again.

We used Olympia to move boxes and furniture from our house into a storage unit in town. They did not pack anything as we already had everything packed into boxes. Ryan was very helpful and thorough in preparing the estimate. The guys on the moving team were personable and professional and they worked fast. We look forward to using Olympia when we move again. FYI -Our house was a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath.

This was a fantastic service and the guys were incredibly fast and safe about moving. I had a long distance move to NY and they kept on target and finished faster than I had projected. 10/10 would use again. They think of literally everything and help you out with it!!

Cannot say enough good things about Olympia. They were on time, quick, clean and careful! In addition, they were flexible! As we had to change our move back date--they worked with us with no problems at all. Highly recommend them!

Outstanding service, Awesome movers. The only company that actually come to take an inventory for an accurate estimate. Ben always answered the phone and email prior to the move. They Showed up 10 minutes early, worked very hard, had a fantastic attitude and were super helpful. These guys went the extra mile with a smile. They were very respectful of our belongings and us. Also showed respect for each other and maintained a very good atmosphere and attitude even at the 12th hour of the move of a very exhausting day. We would definitely hire them again and we highly recommend them !

Every single person on my moving team was amazing...trustworthy, honest, dependable, and careful. I got three bids, and L&J was the only one to follow up after the estimate to let me know they wanted my business, and did they ever earn it. Communication was clear and thorough (thank you Michelle), so I knew exactly what to expect. The packers were friendly and careful. But the best part was the loading/driving/unloading team led by Donny and Connie. I felt completely safe and saw them take as much care with my belongings as I would have, probably better. Everyone was personable, efficient, and professional. This move was my most expensive bid, but well worth the extra few dollars for peace of mind and excellent results.

I found this guy, Douglas G. Brown Moving Co., in a Google search and saw he was local. I called and he said he would be out to give me a quote. Doug showed up and walked through the house; then we went out back to look at my garage and back yard. He saw I have a trampoline and even volunteered to break it down and re-assemble at the new house. He gave me a great quote ($898), so I decided to proceed with him. Doug calls me the night before the move and states his truck is in the shop and he will be picking it up in the morning. He tells me he will be a bit late due to his truck having to be picked up, and I say no problem. Turns out Doug does not have a truck. He shows up to my house in a U-Haul truck; I verified later that he not only does not own a truck, but has no drivers license. Doug shows up to my house at 11 AM smelling like booze. It was obvious he had been drinking that morning and was drunk. He walks through my house looking frustrated, shaking his head, and says he needs to charge more money because I have a lot of stuff. I got a bit frustrated and answered that he just saw the house 2 nights ago, so what is this about? It turns in to a heated awkward moment and finally I said do what you have to, I have to get out today. How much more are we talking? He tells me $1100.00 and I say fine. When they pull up out back to pack the garage, Doug starts complaining about the trampoline in my backyard and tells me he didnt see it the other night. I tell him, Ummmm, yeah ya did, you specifically asked me about it." I wound up breaking it down myself. Doug tells me they will not be re-assembling (even though that was part of the deal). The mover all had Gatorades they were drinking from, and Doug had a huge soda bottle. They made several trips to the store, and I suspect it was the state store and their drinks were mixed with alcohol; at least Doug's; he smelled like a brewery. Doug starts telling me I should have packed stuff better, etc. I let it go at first, but then he repeats it again. I finally reached my breaking point, drop the stuff in my hand, drop the shit in my hand, and tell him I suggest he settles down. He stops, stares at me like hes going to do something, then walks away shaking his head. As they left my house, Im positive their stops were the liquor store because I was getting drunk off of Dougs scent. Now Im worried that they are going to get pulled over, locked up, and the truck will be put in an impound yard with my stuff in it. Doug pulls up to the new house for the 2nd unload and decides he now wants more money, and bumps the price up to $1200. Im livid, but I want this horrible experience to end and tell him fine, unload the truck and go. So far, as I'm unpacking, I found that my dresser that I just bought a few months ago has a gash in the rear corner; He was literally throwing my good stuff into trash cans filled with trash. The guys he had working for him for the day worked hard and I had their tips in my pocket. I obviously was not going to tip Doug after he upped the price twice during the job, but his guys worked hard and so I gave them $50 tips. One of the guys had to leave a little early, so Doug comes right out and asks what I have for that guy. He swears the guy will get every penny. Im so stressed and upset I give Doug a $50 bill for the guy who had to leave early. As they were leaving my driveway I heard one of the guys ask Doug how much I gave him for the one guys tip in his absence. I hear Doug answer twenty. He pocketed more than half of what I gave to the guy in his absence. The best part is, as he is leaving, he says, drunk, with total sincerity, If you know anybody who may need help moving, please give them my number. Evidently he is a professional mover but works for OMalleys Moving, but tries to present himself as a self-sufficient mover with his own company. He is a drunken shyster with no license who will change prices at the last minutes because he knows you have no choice but to accept. If I wasnt totally stressed out, I would have never agreed to the higher price, or handed over somebodys tip to this guy. It was late (since he did not show till 11 AM) and dark and I wanted it to end

Very professional and punctual, packing done very well.  We unpacked ourselves so cannot comment on that aspect. the staff were courteous and the owner is very accomodating. Price was high but we gave them very short notice; the cost of boxes and wrapping was a surprise as well.

They were very good but they did break my ceiling fan. I contacted them and they have already ordered one of the blades and they are going to come and fix it. The mover were very professional and they worked quickly. They were very courteous.
