AJoe Connolly PavingWe got at least 4 estimates from other companies before deciding on Joe Connolly, because we wanted to save a huge maple tree next to our existing driveway. Although Joe's prices aren't the cheapest, his work is meticulous, and I was amazed that he and his workers literally did some of the work by hand as they carefully cut some tree roots (after an arborist assessed and worked on the tree.) Not only is our driveway more functional now, it looks beautiful and enhances the "curb appeal" of our home!- Fran M.

AGeorge at All American Paving & Sealcoating LLC was able to schedule my driveway for Wednesday, October 7 even though his company's work was backed up due to COVID-19. The single worker completed the sealcoating of my 1,100 s.f. driveway in 30-40 minutes and did the job neatly and professionally. I would gladly recommend their sealcoating services to anyone.

FI’ve never left a negative review for any services so I’m sorry this has to be my first. We had our driveway repaved and made wider in March 2020 with USA paving. Vinny and his team were initially very responsive, fairly priced and were able to prioritize our job at the start of yet pandemic. They showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently. At first glance it seemed to be a job well done. About a month in (April) we noticed a seam as well as cracks and holes in some parts of the driveway (Vinny warned of this at the end of the job but told us to call and he would come by to take care of right away). NOT TRUE! I have been calling Vinny since April and he tells me he will “come by this weekend” to check things out but never shows. I follow up via call/text and get no response. Recently a fungus/mushroom started growing in certain pockets of the driveway underneath - leaving lumps, cracks and holes. It’s a hazard bc my kids and I often trip over the raised areas. My husband has called Vinny to address several times and again he doesn’t show up or respond. I know Vinny could not foresee all of our issues but we paid him 5k in March for a new driveway and it looks worse than our old one. He assured us he would fix any issues that came up and he has not. We now have to start all over with another company and spend god knows how much to fix this mess. Vinny and USA paving do not stand by their word or their work so i would not recommend their services.

AWe had to have the end of our driveway re-paved and slightly widened, as well as have our entire (long) driveway re-sealed. J Stewart did a great job (re-paving repair done on one day, re-sealing a few days later) -- efficient, neat, and courteous. Very pleased with the work, and the price was very reasonable compared to the other two quotes I received (and several other paving companies said they did not do residential paving repairs).

APat came out and did a long, thorough walk-around, pointing out drainage issues and making suggestions about the most cost-effective ways to address them. He is very knowledgeable and has a great eye for detail, and he's also extraordinarily honest about what does *not* need to be done. He recommended resealing the driveway instead of resurfacing it (we had experienced a hard sell from someone else who took a brief look at the shallow cracks and advocated a total resurfacing). Pat also discussed options for our slate patio and gave a very fair estimate for power washing and repointing it, but he made it clear that the slate would still look old afterward. Overall, he took time to help us prioritize our landscape issues all around the house, recommending approaches that actually did not entail the use of his services. I wish that his firm did do sealcoating, because we would gladly go with them, but we will definitely trust his referral elsewhere. If we do decide to repoint the patio, we will turn to Dio Construction for sure. Pat is the kind of honest contractor who treats you like a friend, not like an easy mark.

AI called The Driveway Lady to get a quote and ideas on how to solve a difficult problem with my concrete porch. My home was built in the late 1800s and has a large raised concrete wrap around porch surrounded by beautiful stone walls. Replacement would be prohibitive, but there were some substantial cracks and pitting. It was like walking on an ocean reef, it was so rough, and the repairs made to the cracks wouldn’t hold, but Jean determined that it was otherwise secure with no water penetration below. She suggested they repair the cracks with hydraulic cement and then coat the entire surface with Miracote to seal both the cracks and smooth the surface and protect from future pitting. They worked with me to get the color right when I didn’t like the initial application. Jean stands by her work and does an outstanding job. The people she has working for her are also courteous, pleasant and easy to work with. I can’t recommend her and her team enough.
