  • I have been a patient of Dr. Laskas for approximately 20 years. Dr. Laskas is always very compassionate and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is fantastic. His work is also excellent. Highly recommend.

  • It went well. When the man for whom I care refused treatment they sent by registered mail a form releasing them from liability and explaining why it was important for him to have the lesion removed.

  • Dr. Leonard Dzubow was professional. I thought he did an outstanding job. The outcome couldn't have been better. He is not just a dermatologist; he is the only dermatologist in the area that is qualified to do Mohs surgery. That is something that one would need if one needs a tumor removed, to get all the cancer out. After that process, one does not end up looking like a Frankenstein. It is a special procedure and one has to be a pathologist to do it. They take little slices as they keep removing the tumor and looking into the microscope to make sure they gotten it all. It is supposed to do least or minimal damage to the skin. He was the only surgeon that my dermatologist recommended in the area. I had a choice whether to have it repaired by plastic surgeon or have Mohs surgery done. My dermatologist said that Dr. Dzubow was so good and was better than most plastic surgeons. So I opted not to go with a plastic surgeon but to go with whatever Dr. Dzubow did. There is not even a scar. It looked like a bullet hole on my face for six months but now there is nothing. It was so deep and wide. What is terrific is that it is now the opposite of what they used to teach one, which is, one has to keep the wound moist at all times. That's the most healing. They used to tell to put bandage and keep it dry but that actually can cause the scaring. Now they found that if it is kept moist there is no scaring. I had to wait for two and a half months for an appointment because he is the only person in the area; obviously, it is not his fault. One can't walk in right away, whenever he takes one is fine. I would absolutely recommend him for cancer surgery. He did a fantastic job.

  • Latest visit was a followup checkup. Originally went to have a wart removed, agreed to a full skin check since I'd never had one. A precancerous growth was found and removed at a later visit. A year later the scar is hard to see. Staff is courteous, doctor is professional and takes time to answer questions. Depending on the time of day, it can be a little slow in the waiting room, but I'll take that over being rushed through the time with the doctor.

  • Went well, took two small spots to check for cancer. Had head itch and red spots on nose. The Dr.John Laskas gave me three proscriptions that came to over $300.00 and I have keystone hmo, they pay half. One had to be mixed. Still don't have that one. Asked for generic and was given two, for the itch and spots. Did not work got worse. have to see another DR.

  • I think he is the only dermatologist in the area that does these types of procedures. There may be others, but I couldn't find any in the city. They do little tiny sections to remove the growth and then do the pathology. Anyone with any carcinoma or melanoma should really have this procedure done. He seemed very competent and professional. He took a lot of time with every patient to tell them what was going to happen and what his recommendations were. He was very professional during the procedure. It is a big medical complex, but he is the only one there that does the procedure. He did an expert job. He is pretty experienced with cosmetic reconstructon, so I chose not to use a separate cosmetic surgeon. You have to wait about two months for an appointment. The office is very clean and pleasant.

  • Just recently had a bad scare. I'm nearing my 10 year anniversary from Melanoma and found a marble sized tumor under my arm where I had Melanoma. Dr. Egan cut it out and the biopsy report turned out negative. She was very reassuring throughout this ordeal. Very easy going pleasant personality, plus a specialist in Melanoma.
    - JOHN G.
  • Dr. Egan has been my dermatologist for about 10 years. She has an excellent "bedside manner" and she is very thorough. Her credentials are impressive. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvanian Medical School where she was chief resident in dermatology.

  • My visit with him was excellent. I like everything about him.

  • I was told that there was no room. However I was told a new doctor with me on staff shortly and they would call me back for an appointment. I haven't heard from them for a month and a half.
