  • I waited in the room for 45 minutes with no one checking on me, then I get attitude and poor service from Dr. Patel because I brought it to her attention. There was no apology, just a 5 minute visit and out the door she went. I am a redhead with freckles and this was a yearly visit, I should have been check thoroughly. Nope just attitude. Now she gave me a cream and I am still waiting on her staff to follow through to get it. Three visits to the Pharmacy and 3 calls to Crumay, still nothing. I asked her staff can they make sure that this gets completed, was told I will do it when I get to it. I am so disappointment in the doctor and her staff, and I will not be going back there. I wasted 3 years with them.

  • They shove you in and out; it’s like an assembly line, almost. They were very curt and hurried and had their appointment in the basement. I was very dissatisfied with the doctor, the medicine that didn’t work, the way that they shoved us in and out whenever we’d see them. My daughter was very upset after our appointments and we were not very happy at all with the care provided. What they prescribed did not work. It makes me mad because my son had the exact same issue when he was her age and the medicine he was on for six months got rid of it and he hasn’t had any issues since. When we brought up that medication with this doctor she wouldn’t hear of it and tried to tell me that it wasn’t the same kind of acne—but I know my children well enough to know that isn’t true.

  • Dr. Kolev is very good at listening, examining, and diagnosing the problem. We have found his care and recommendations for treatments to be very effective. We will continue to go to Dr. Kolev. He really cares about his patients and is a very knowledgeable doctor.

  • Upon calling for an appointment I was greeted by a strangely off-putting scheduling person. She was chewing gum loudly as we spoke in almost a clichand eacute;d manner that you would find in a movie satire of a terrible receptionist at an uncaring bureaucracy. I shrugged it off because I knew the scheduling assistant is not really critical in the process of my healing. It took 3 weeks to get in, but I was ok with that. I was not offered any options for the time or day. I took whatever they had. Upon the day of the appointment I arrived at a very busy waiting room. I was a little surprised, but didn't really worry about it as I only had a rash and i didn't think my appointment would take that long. They called every out of the room one at a time until I was the only one left. I thought this was a little strange, but didn't ponder on it too long. Finally an abrupt and extremely impersonal nurse-like woman came out and barked my name like I was some kind of chore she had to deal with. I was offended, but brushed it off for the sake of getting this over with. She took me back to a poorly-kept room with windows that I would only image a prison would ever use. I was truly starting to feel a sense of dread now. The unreasonably rude nurse/hostess told me to sit, and I did. She proceeded to walk around the corner to a cubby hole and started to drill me on why I was there. These were the same questions that I had already answered while making the appointment, but I answered them again, speaking into empty space as the woman was not within eyesight of me. After asking what she needed, she finally came out from her secret corner. making sure not to make any eye contact with me, she said the doctor would see me in time, and that there were patients in front of me. I then started to realize that the doctor would be seeing me only after she has attended to the entire waiting room I had just witnessed. Apparently, this practice quadruple books their time slots, and then proceeds to treat the patients in the order that they arrive. I was waiting in my and quot;celland quot; for a solid hour before the doctor saw me. The appoint was awkward. The room was very small, so we almost had play the elevator dance to get around each other. She wanted to see the rash of course, but made no effort to make me comfortable. The rash was on my left leg, but she sat to my right. So instead of moving to my left side, she rather had me contort myself into a very uncomfortable position with my left leg twisted forward like a ballet dancer so she could finish examining me. Whatever. I was so glad to get out of there. To top the experience off, the billing clerk was on the phone with her child while she was checking me out.

  • We went round and round and they charged me $50 for it. I never went to them and we never saw them. I didn't like anything about them. I would not recommend them to anybody. They would not relent on this $50 no show fee supposedly because I had the appointment as being in January and so I brought them money into them. They weren't very nice and I probably wasn't very nice either. I superseded it and they said there is nothing else we can do, this is the way it is in our policy, that's the end of it. They billed for something the didn't do.

  • I was so very pleased with all aspects of my care. The nurse coordinator for the clinic always got back to me in a timely manner to answer my questions preoperatively. The surgeon did too! That was quite a surprise to receive phone calls from the doctor. The surgery went well, and the doctor saw me in the preparation area before surgery. They were trying to start my IV so she said she would come back and she did! I also remember her standing next to me in the OR conversing with me and reassuring me. I believe the results are going to be very aesthetic with a long but not noticeable scar. I had some problems with bleeding the night of surgery at home and called the on-call doctor. That was Friday night. The bleeding resolved and I did not need to go back. Received a follow-up call from the surgeon on Monday, though, to verify that all was okay. The surgeon called me with the pathology results (no cancer YAY!!!) 5 days after surgery. My surgeon was Dr. Anna Leung. I would not hesitate to recommend her or to see her again!

  • I was told my appointment was at 10:45. They told me to arrive about 15 - 20 minutes prior to the appointment. I left work at 10:00 to be there at 10:30. Went to the waiting room on the lower level. Waited about 5-10 minutes to check in only to be told that I was in the wrong waiting room. When I got to the upstairs waiting room, the receptionist was very cold and unpleasant. I told her I was here for my 10:45 appointment. She said my appointment was at 11:00 not 10:45. I asked her if the doctor was on time. She said there were 2 people ahead of me. I asked her if he was going to be able to see those 2 patients in 15 minutes. She never really answered me and told me to have a seat. At 11:30 I still hadn't been called back to see the doctor. The whole time I was in the waiting room, other people were complaining of the long wait. I asked how much longer and was told that there were 2 people in front of me. I told her that's what she said 45 minutes ago. I couldn't wait any longer. I got back to work about 12:00. I lost 2 hours of work (which would have been overtime for me that week) and still never saw the doctor!!! They obviously overbook and don't care how long people have to wait.
I wrote the doctor a letter and told him about what happened that he should pay me for my wasted time. Did he apologize? NO - He said that I should have to pay him for a lost patient. If he had been on time, he wouldn't have lost a patient!!!
I went back about a month later and saw a different doctor (1st appointment of the day). She spent very little time with me and made me feel like I was intruding on her. She took care of the area of concern around my eye and the one on my upper lip but she held the stuff that freezes your skin so long on my lip that I thought she was going to go right through my lip. The area around my eye healed quickly but my upper lip took a long time to heal. Needless to say, I cancelled my follow up appointment. The whole office staff was very rude and had little concern for the patient or their time.

  • My wife was looking to get some dermatology work done, so she told me she had a good experience there. I ended up with her same person, Dr. Fogleburgh. So it was really my wives reference. Our previous dermatologist before that went out of business. I don't know who referred my wife there. It's a practice, there are 4 or 5 dermatologists there. Not that I've used very many, but the doctor was very professional, and close logistically. The office is well organized. To me it was clean and quite efficient. They are on time and I don't really have to wait. The staff is pretty pleasant.
