We had a small bathroom gutted and remodeled. The bathroom included a tiled tub/shower combination, toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet, tile floor and lighting.

The project went very well. The contractor and subcontractors did an excellent job. We were very well satisfied with the craftsmanship and quality of the materials used. The contractor assisted us in selecting the tile, fixtures, etc. and was flexible about our wish for a change in paint color. He also accommodated a major change in the project schedule to allow us to deal with a family emergency.

Added 18 lite French doors and dentil crown molding.

Brian was the consummate professional. We recently moved into our home and wanted to add French doors leading into our study and dentil crown molding in our foyer and crown in our mudd room and powder room. Brian designed the decorative dentil molding which was composed of four separate pieces to create a stunning Georgian appearance. Brian provided us with a detailed estimate of the job along with a start and end date. He and his staff arrived promptly on the contract start date and the job was finished as planned on the end date. A refreshing change when often contractors have excuses for not showing up. Brian's work was fastidious and conscientious. He made sure the site was cleaned each day as he and his staff completed the work. We will have other projects in the near future and we will be sure to seek out Bolger Remolding to perform the project. I highly recommend his work.

Nothing

Brian Bolger came out to give an estimate and was nice. He said he would provide an estimate in a few days but did not. I waited a week and then contacted the office and was told he would provide an estimate that day. I never received the estimate and I have no idea why he didn't provide one.

Supposed to provide an estimate, Mate on a bathroom remodel.

We called to ask for an estimate and left voice mail. Three weeks later they got back with us and said they had telephone problems. A rep came out and took ISO and measurements but never did get back with us with an estimate.

Framing, subfloor and plumbing for bathroom remodel.

The job went fairly. I was a little dissatisfied with Brian's communication skills when things didn't go according to plan. I don't know if this is standard operating procedure for the contracting industry, but it was not what I'm used to on my job. Brian's workmanship was fair. In one instance I was impressed at his engineering and problem solving skills making the vanity fit flush to the walls of the old house. I also want to take time to express how grateful I was that Brian took a job where he provided some services and I took care of others. Not everyone was willing to do that. Overall, the experience was ok and the product turned out pretty good. Some improved communication would go a long way though - especially in this business.

Designed and remodeled my kitchen.

Mr. Bolger responded to my request for quote in timely fashion and quoted approximately as I had expected after talking to neighbors and another contractor. I chose this contractor because of his professionalism. His team showed up the day promised to begin prep for remodel, which consisted of demolition of existing cabinetry, sink and counters, while we met at the suppliers' businesses to choose cabinets, a sink and faucet, countertop and backsplash. Even though, inevitably, some of the orders were delayed, work continued steadily. The Bolger team worked through snow, ice and the flu. The finished job is my dream kitchen. Additionally, Mr. Bolger and I discussed the budget in depth and carefully considered the age of the house before deciding on specific surfaces and cabinets. He held me to my budget and made sure I didn't over buy. Quality never suffered, though. The kitchen is new, perfect and very attractive. The added storage and convenient repositioning of the appliances, which I had kept, does not overwhelm the 1960 home, but is lovely and suits the rest of the house. And despite heavy snowfalls (several times), ice storms (at least 2), and the flu, the team kept going. I love my new kitchen.

Estimate for 2 Bathroom Remodels

We asked them to come by and provide an estimate for remodeling two bathrooms. Bolger came by and spent a bit of time looking at the bathrooms. We were told they would have an estimate for us within 2 weeks, but we never heard back. Tried to call and spoke with someone twice, but again, no one ever called back with estimate. Can't stand unreliable contractors!!

We got a quote from Bolger Design + Remodeling for a fun room addition.

Everything was fine, its just that we went on a different person. Another person had a unique system of windows and stuff, it was the guy being with specific traditional construction.

The came out and quoted us about $8,000 for one job and the second one about $6,800.

We contacted them to come out and quote us for remodeling in kitchen and dining room and they also quoted us for some window work. They were quick to answer us and respond to us. They were courteous and very professional.

Complete remodel of upstairs bedrooms/moving walls to build walk in closet and update master and main bathrooms.

Brian, the owner had great ideas on what we wanted to accomplish! He always had quality workers and workmanship. During the job we had a couple of changes required and he and his people were responsive and always wanted to do a great job. We are very pleased with their work and would have them do our job again.
