    Mercury Mechanical. LLC
Great! Mr. Smith was on time, worked rapidly and professionally, had purchased the necessary parts for the job, and was a pleasure to have working for me. Material included a new tank, valves and fittings, a new relay and pressure gauge.

Called and within the hour they were here and working on the furnace. Very knowledgable and very professional. Roman was the one who came out. He had the part in his truck and then stayed to make sure it was indeed the part that was needed and that everything stayed running. Very reasonable price and very fast response especially for a weekend!! Definitely will use again for any of my heating Ac or plumbing needs.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
We had used Roto-Rooter in the past for a pressure cleaning (less than two years). This time, they cleaned again (no charge) and then returned the next day with their scope. This is where the trouble began. The owner's son, Nolan, did the scope and told us that the sewer was backing up about forty feet out, and that we shouldn't use our water because it would soon fill and back up in the basement. He then told us that we needed to replace the entire pipe to the street. We live in a wooded area, so the estimate was $32,000! Yes, that is 32 with three zeros. Nolan convinced my wife and I that this was an emergency and a disaster about to happen, so we signed a contract. Fortunately, another decking contractor at our house suggested getting additional opinions. We got two additional opinions, and the worst case scenario was $8,400 if the pipe was relined. More importantly, there was no blockage in the sewer pipe, and we can continue using our water without worrying. We sent a certified letter within the three day period to cancel the contract. Fortunately, the $10,666 down payment was never charged to my credit card. We have contracted another plumber to clean scale buildup by augering and powerjetting for $1,000. We will then determine with the plumber if any part of the pipe needs to be relined. After that service, I'll provide a review.

    America's Basement Contractor
Based on his recommendations, I decided the basement problems were more than I wanted to deal with in this house. However, Carl performed this service at NO COST to me, based on the promise that I would contract him for the job, should I decide to go ahead with the purchase.

    Fisher Plumbing & Heating LLC
Ben Fisher, the owner came initially to review work and provide quote.  The quote was fair and I agreed to the price.  When the work day arrived, Ben and his son Roman came to begin the work.  Installing the new outside faucet required both men because the line had to be run from one side of the house to the other on the inside along the main I beam running down the center of the building.  After that work was done, Ben went to another job and Roman stayed.
Roman completed all of the work that was quoted and did some other small modifications to what I had initially asked be done.  He was very professional and seems to be very competent.
The work started around 9:00 am and Roman finally finished the job around 6:00 pm.  During that time, he worked continually, completing one task and moving to the next.  The reason he was here until 6:00 pm is that he did run into a problem when he was cleaning the main line vent stack.  He was able to solve the problem and complete the task.  I believe that if it had taken until 9:00 pm, he would have stayed.
When the work was completed, Roman sat down with me and went over every thing he did during the day.  He gave me the final bill and did not include any charge for the work modifications I had asked for.  One thing I did not know is that the work performed is guaranteed for one year.  I was very pleased to learn that.
I am very pleased with the work that Fisher plumbing did and will definitely use them again.  I would recommend them to anyone.

    Wm T Spaeder Company Inc
    I had 2 requests.
I purchased my home about 3
years ago.  It has 2 septic systems,
one for each end of the house.  I
did not know the location of the systems, and wanted to locate the tanks
in order to have them serviced and determine the condition of both
    systems.
    I was converting a 1/2 bath
into a full bath, and needed plumbing roughed in.  I needed to flip the location of the
existing toilet and sink and add a shower.
The existing bath is on a slab, and required cutting the concrete
floor to rough in the plumbing, and slope the concrete floor in
preparation for adding a shower drain.
At the same time, I wanted to replace the existing water heater that
supplied this and an adjacent bath with a new hot water unit.  The existing 1/2 bath is 4' x 5' and
stealing space from a closet the new bath is only 4' x 8', adding only the
    space for a 3' x 4' shower.
    I called to schedule
an appointment, and discussed my needs with a plumbing supervisor who wanted to
send a plumber who would be in the area stop by to look things over before
scheduling the service call.  In preparation
for the call, I stripped the existing walls down to the studs to make the
access to the existing plumbing easy.
     The first plumber
showed up to look at the project as scheduled, and recommended scoping the
drains with a camera to determine where the septic cleanouts were located, and
to inspect the existing drain line in the 1/2 bath to quote the rough in for
the new bath.  I provided a set of
dimensioned drawing of the existing bath, a detailed drawing of the new bath
with measurements, all the fixture specification sheets to eliminate any
guesswork as I had already purchased them.
The supervisor called to discuss the project, and I sent a PDF of all
the documentation to him directly per our conversation, and we scheduled an
appointment to have the camera inspection and septic location preformed.  The plumber who was to show up did not call
until 1/2 day after he was to have shown up to reschedule.
He showed up for the second appointment on time, and scoped the lines in the 1/2 bath, and located
the septic cleanout for the septic system on that side of the house.   In what seemed to me at the time to be about
an hour.  At that point, he told me he had another appointment scheduled, and would have to come back to locate the
2nd septic system, and would call me to schedule it.
He didn't call back for several days, so I called him.  He apologized.  Said that he had broken the scope, that he'd told his boss someone else had broken it, and it needed to be repaired, and would call to reschedule as soon as it was repaired.  Weeks later,
I called the office thinking they had forgotten about me.  They said the unit was out for repaire, and they would call to reschedule as soon as it was back.  I also discussed the quote for the bathroom rough-in with the supervisor responsible
for preparing the quote.  He told me I should have it shortly.
I received the quote a few days later.  They never called back to finish the 1st job.   I did receive a bill dated two months after the first service call for $427.13.  The bill detail was for $307.13 was travel and "truck charge" and $100 for "sewer camera."
The Budgetary Quote to rough in the plumbing and slope the concrete floor was $6,712.00.  The quote did not include a water heater any or carpentry, but they included setting the fixtures, which couldn't be done without the electric, walls, or tile work.
At no point did I receive a call saying they did not intend to provide a new hot water heater, and they never called back to finish the job of locating the other septic system.
I had used them right after moving into the house, to re-route the lines in the laundry room, install a new water softener, run new water lines for laundry hookups, and install both a laundry tub and replace the old kitchen sink and lines.  They'd preformed that work, which also involved cutting the concrete floor well.  They were in and out in one day and I was very satisfied.
But after this disappointment, I won't be using or recommending them again.

Tool Tech Plumbing Electrical Heating & Air
Ron was knowledgeable, neat and professional, just as he's always been when he's done work for us in the past.
His prices are always reasonable.  This job was more expensive because of the extra work and time it took to find the correct materials and to do the venting properly.

    Vogt Heating and Cooling
Vogt came within an hour of the emergency call and stayed until the
piping was rerouted thus avoiding tearing up our floor to fix the broken
pipe.  The job was done professionally and quickly when we were in a
pinch. They further have checked in the following day to see if there were any other problems due to the damage from the original leak.  I happily recommend them.

    Reeves Plumbing & Heating
This work arrangement had to be done over the phone since it was for my mother's house and I live in NC. Someone was able to come quickly and give us an estimate. A work date was set up very soon after. On the work day, according to my mother's caregiver, the two plumberss were very solicitous and respectful of my elderly mother - trying to keep disruption to a minimum - only took one day. They laid plastic over kitchen areas to protect them while they worked. They cleaned up completely afterward. My mother's caregiver especially noted  Rob as being very courteous and professional. Everyone that I spoke with over the phone was knowledgeable and professional while I was setting up the appointments, going over the estimate, and while the work was in progress. The total cost was a bit higher than the estimate, but was not surprising as it is an old house and things were found as the work progressed. Would definitely hire this company again.

    Hafast Dirtworks
Eric showed up a day early, completed the installation of a French drain along our property boundary with minimal damage to the lawn, took the time to move the excess dirt to other parts of the yard that needed it, helped to even out the extra dirt, and even provided some grass seed to cover the part of the French drain  beyond the gravel.  He was friendly, hard working (as was his helper with him that day - no just standing around for either of them) & the price was great.  I will definitely call him again for any further drainage issues.
